Confetti meant to celebrate
Hillary Clinton’s historic victory
becomes art to inspire women

St. Louis Public Radio [MO], by Willis Ryder Arnold

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/8/2017 7:51:36 AM

Early on election night last November, artist Bunny Burson looked to New York City’s Javits Center ceiling, expecting confetti to fall to celebrate Hillary Clinton becoming the nation´s first woman president. But the confetti never fell. Crushed by Clinton’s loss to President Donald Trump, Burson began an almost two-week journey to track down the confetti, which she thought would make great material for artwork. She used the confetti to turn a window at Bruno David Gallery in Clayton into a massive snow globe titled “And Still I Rise.” Her purpose? To flip Clinton’s defeat into inspiration for women and girls.

Comments:
You cannot be serious. Sure, that´s going to be a real inspiration to women. NOT. It´s an inspiration that she will still rise?? Good. Grief. She is the prime example of failure, how not to behave, she was phony, unlikeable and nothing but a lying criminal. And those are just a few examples. She is certainly no inspiration to women!

Dollar Bill Clinton says that a lot, I bet.
(sorry, Lucianne, but when something is so easy ro send up, I feel an obligation to do that.)
Or, in Hillary´s case, "and still I fail."

Suggesting to girls and young women that Hillary´s loss was due to inherent sexism in American society is nothing but a fraud and a social crime. Too bad it isn´t legally so!

Can you imagine the juggernaut of a President Hillary Clinton, a Democrat controlled House and the media? The corruption and move towards Globalism may well have spelled the end of the United States as we know it. (And incidentally, the Clintons would have been billionaires by 2020.) While the progressives gall knows no limits, that they have co-opted actual women´s rights (not abortion, but legitimate rights) is especially noxious.

Hillary has failed at every major job she´s attempted - her health care task force was a disaster in the early 90s, she was a nothing-burger in the Senate, she lost the Democratic nomination in 2008 to a community organizer with ever fewer "accomplishments" than she had, she was a terrible Secretary of State, and she lost the 2016 election that everyone predicted she´d win.

Yeah, she´s an inspiration all right.

When cruise ships left the dock years ago, they used to have streamers. As the ship left, you´d look back and see these lonely streamers fluttering, soaked and kind of sad. That is what Hillary´s confetti is like. It would be almost pathetic ... there she was, standing under a glass ceiling, all primed for victory and WHAP ... she gets a doze of instant karma ... failure ... again. And doesn´t have the grace to admit it. I am SO glad she isn´t President. SO glad. If I wasn´t such a nasty person, I´d feel sorry for her. But I don´t. She has ruined it for women ... she showed herself to be a whiny, self-centered witch which will translate into women in general ... kind of like Obama has done for blacks. A pox on both of them.

A snow globe as an example of "I Still Rise?"

What happens with a snow globe? You shake it, inert particles flail around and when the energy exerted on it from an external source stops, it returns to its dormant state.

You know, that is a good metaphor for Hillary. No matter how much money and energy you use to prop her up, she still returns to her dormant state. The only difference is that you are out money, energy and time.

Looking at that multimillion-dollar, massive, Kim Jong Il-level insane celebration of self she had staged in sure anticipation of victory; with fireworks, the largest venue in NYC, 3 D effects and a stage set that had her bestriding and wiping both feet on an outline of her new realm, our prostrate country, I felt my gorge rise. Caligula might have found that show a bit much. If ever any proof were needed that Mrs William J CLinton has no business in a representative government, THAT astonishing display and her cowardly refusal to speak to those poor schmucks who were her living props was it. Pride goeth before a fall indeed. Reliving that fall, my spirits rise. :-)

CNN host Anthony Bourdain joked in an interview with TMZ that he would poison President Trump if given the opportunity to cook for him and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. "If Trump and Kim Jong-un were going to have a bit of a summit to try and mend relations and they wanted you to cater, what would you serve?" asked a TMZ reporter. "Hemlock," Bourdain deadpanned. Hemlock is defined as "a drug or lethal drink prepared from the poison hemlock" that has been used as an execution method. Almost no commentator, no reviewer, has mentioned the most newsworthy fact about Hillary Clinton´s latest memoir—which is the near total lack of anything actually newsworthy in the book. Chelsea Manning has been making quite a spectacle of himself out on Twitter, taking Michael Morrell´s and Mike Pompeo´s exit from the school as a welcome new opportunity to call attention to himself. He starts with an emoji-filled cheer at news of Morrell´s resignation from his own Harvard post based on its bad judgment in bringing him into the university to ´mentor´ students, declaring it ´good´ that Morrell has pulled out. Not a thought about how Morrell´s exit might affect Harvard, it´s all about himself and his feelings instead. Note the high emoji count, by the way - an advertisement
