Once Dominant, the United States
Finds Itself Isolated at G-20

New York Times, by Steven Erlanger & Julie Hirschfeld Davis

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 7/7/2017 10:28:38 PM

Hamburg, Germany - For years the United States was the dominant force and set the agenda at the annual gathering of the leaders of the world’s largest economies. But on Friday, when President Trump met with 19 other leaders at the Group of 20 conference, he found the United States isolated on everything from trade to climate change, and faced with the prospect of the group’s issuing a statement on Saturday that lays bare how the United States stands alone. (Snip) Ms. Merkel also pointed out that most of the countries supported the Paris accord on climate change, while Mr. Trump has abandoned it.

Comments:
The New York Times continues to bleed ink over their BIAS "reporting" of Trump at the G20 Summit. That´s my kind way of saying that this is not "fake news" but rather "flake boos" aimed at Trump for his resistance to play with the other 19 when the game is rigged in their favor. Still smarting from the lashing he gave them by withholding our money by not giving in to their extortion, you get an article like this from our leading Fifth Columnist. It´s not a lie, but just their way of trying to "shame" Trump.

Fake News. Instead of wasting your time reading NYT fiction read Larry Kudlow´s article today in National Review Online. According to Kudlow´s thinking Trump´s energy policies will make much of Europe our BFFs by ending the Russian monopoly on natural gas sales to Europe.

For the first time in decades Europe and the NY Times are facing the fact that US taxpayers will no longer be global slaves chained to the international community. We want to be friends with everyone and help whenever we can, but we can no longer be expected to do so automatically. No one should be. Beijing - China hit back on Thursday at recent criticism from the United States about its trade practices, saying some countries’ unilateralism is an unprecedented challenge to global trade. Ministry of Commerce spokesman Gao Feng also said that foreign and domestic firms are treated equally in China and that foreign firms should not have concerns about investing in China. The comments come amid stepped up pressure on Beijing from Washington over trade and pledges by China to further open its markets to foreign investors. “Some countries’ unilateral actions and calls for unilateralism are an unprecedented challenge to the

San Francisco - An international group of cryptography experts has forced the U.S. National Security Agency to back down over two data encryption techniques it wanted set as global industry standards, reflecting deep mistrust among close U.S. allies. In interviews and emails seen by Reuters, academic and industry experts from countries including Germany, Japan and Israel worried that the U.S. electronic spy agency was pushing the new techniques not because they were good encryption tools, but because it knew how to break them. The NSA has now agreed to drop all but the most powerful versions of the techniques -

Sen. Rand Paul, who opposed the nuclear deal with Iran two years ago, wants the United States to stay in the agreement — even as President Donald Trump sends clues that he is preparing to derail it. In an interview Wednesday, the Kentucky Republican said he believes evidence shows that Iran has been complying with the terms of the deal, cut by former President Barack Obama and aimed at curbing Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. Instead of withdrawing from the nuclear deal, Paul argued that the administration should instead look at a deal that would target Iran’s continuing ballistic missile program.
