Podesta Meets With House Intelligence
Panel Behind Closed Doors

Bloomberg, by Billy House

The House Intelligence Committee met behind closed doors Tuesday with John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman, amid complaints by President Donald Trump that the Obama administration didn’t do enough to counter Russian interference in the U.S. election. Podesta’s email account was hacked, as was the Democratic National Committee’s. Many of those emails were then leaked, producing a steady, negative and sometimes embarrassing stream of news about Clinton’s campaign. But the Democrats didn’t cooperate fully with U.S. investigators. “The president and the entire administration were dealing with an unprecedented incidence of the weaponization” of Russian cyberactivity, Podesta told reporters after

All of the evidence of real collusion, obstruction, and cover-up is on Wasserman-Schultz´s laptop, which is in the possession of the Capital Police. The DOJ needs to get it, and put it in the hands of people they can trust, pronto!

To my knowledge, nobody has proven that the rookie pfishing hack on Podesta was done by the Russians. All this Russian dancing around, but where´s the proof. They keep saying it but that doesn´t make it so.

I hope they asked about his conversations with Wasshername-Schultz, and their collusion to sabotage Bernie. Did he ask Gwen Ifil to pass the debate questions on to Hillary, or was that somebody else´s idea?

One of these days one of these worms is going to turn on the rest of them, and the can will be open like one of those clown cans where the worms spring out.

The House Committee has no business meeting behind closed doors. Put Podesta under oath before the cameras or pass to the Justice Dept whatever evidence you think you have on him and let the Session´s Team handle it.

Poor Dana Milbank. For all of his life he has been the picture of perfect health. And then Donald Trump was elected President and completely ruined it to the point where he is now dying. Milbank discusses his health crises in his September 15 Washington Post column, President Trump is killing me. Really. President Trump is killing me. No, really. He’s killing me. It wasn´t one of his campaign promises but we´ll take it. I went for my annual physical last month, and, for the first time in my 49 years, I had to report that I’ve not been feeling

Hate speech laws are loved not only by the do-gooders who demand them. If I were the Devil, I´d love laws that limit free speech, too. "If I Were the Devil," a famous monologue originally written by Paul Harvey in 1965 that he reworked over a 20-year period, didn´t mention hate speech laws. But listen to his final version, and feel the chill of its truths when you realize just how much Satan has achieved. Then imagine how much more the Devil could accomplish if he could silence, under the banner of a moral imperative to limit speech, not just

When the Trump administration decided two weeks ago to halt DACA (for minor children of illegal immigrants) applications and allow six months for Congress to pass legislation that addresses the issue, a new round of political fighting was unleashed. Utilizing the constitutional process unveiled the sharp divide among Republicans concerning this issue and has shown that the leadership of the establishment are closer to the Democrats than to their electoral base. Donald Trump might still find a way to get immigration off the table as a wedge issue. The media, ever eager to damage Trump, have tried to expose this

Trump insists that slashing the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to as low as 15 percent would free up valuable cash. While promoting her newly released memoir, Hillary Clinton has placed blame on several factors for her loss to Donald Trump last November — from her own mistakes, to Russian interference in the U.S. election, and the late intervention by then-FBI director James Comey. But Clinton has also spoken candidly about how deep-rooted sexism played a hand in her defeat, and about the double standards she faced as the first woman nominated by a major party for president in America’s 240-year history. In an interview with the New York Times published Saturday, Clinton spoke further about how misogyny is used as

Almost no commentator, no reviewer, has mentioned the most newsworthy fact about Hillary Clinton´s latest memoir—which is the near total lack of anything actually newsworthy in the book. With What Happened, Clinton would at last "let down her hair," Simon & Schuster´s publicists loudly proclaimed before the book´s publication. And that was the line dutifully repeated by reporter after reporter, as though it were a fact. As though, coming from Clinton´s people, it didn´t need to be checked or reported with even the slight distancing of "Hillary Clinton says she´s let down her hair in her new book." But then,

On Thursday´s Morning Joe, former senior campaign strategist of the unsuccessful 2008 Presidential campaign of John McCain and current MSNBC Political Analyst Steve Schmidt decided to tap deep into his political bloodlust. Although the general tenor of the discussion involved Joe Scarborough repeatedly invoking a recent Politico/Morning Consult poll as evidence that roughly 90% of American voters want some form of amnesty for the DACA “dreamers,” Schmidt decided to take it one step further. He labeled those who support deporting “dreamers” as “extreme,” purveyors of “cruelty,” and “loons screaming out there on the fringes” who are “gonna have no impact.”
