White House reporters fume
over off-camera briefings

The Hill, by Jonathan Easley

The White House press corps vented frustration Monday with press secretary Sean Spicer for conducting off-camera briefings in place of the usual publicly broadcast briefings. Spicer conducted an off-camera briefing with reporters on Monday in which the press was told it could not film or broadcast audio of the proceedings. Spicer conducted the last on-camera briefing last Monday. “The White House press secretary is getting to a point where he’s just kind of useless,” CNN White House reporter Jim Acosta said after the briefing. “If they’re getting to this point where he’s not going to answer questions or go on

Having one´s ego fed five times a week is a "journalist´s" addiction. Reporters do not ask questions, they hurl accusations. Just give these creeps a handout each morning and tell them to go away.

I think briefings should be stopped. Let the journolistas do their own digging. What they put out can´t be much worse that what they do with what they are handed.

Why do they care about the format if they are just going to make stuff up? Every day, the byline is, Trump is going to be impeached for _________ (Fill in the Blank) Sources close to the White House said __________ (Fill in the Blank) Why don´t the low level, low life democrats call their favorite reporter directly and tell him what they want him to say?

Next step...move the Press out of the White House to another Government building. When the White House has something to say they can send their Press Secretary to the Press room (wherever it may be)! I can see that the Reporters are up in arms because suddenly their face time on TV is gone! They might actually have to work to get their news! I love it!

I´m with #4, move the corrupt press out of the White House. Move it across the street and only take questions that have been submitted for approval. Hee, hee.

Better to have your own tv set-up and speak directly to the people.

The Press are "the Enemy of the People", attempting every day to destroy the President and the Country.

I still think a daily press handout would be all that is necessary. To hell with all of those lying leftist propagandists.

There are about 10 of them that I will read and take as facts. Byron York, Molly Hemmingway, Paul Bedard, Howie Carr, Steve Dinan, Michael Barone, and a few others that I can´t think of at this moment.

Many sources should be just cut off. NYT, CNN and WashComPost should get no press credentials, since they are no longer news organizations but Anti-Trump propaganda outlets to the exclusion of all truth.

There must be some dank, drab fedgov building somewhere in Alaska that would make a great site for a briefing room. Some place they must hike and rappel too that is open to the elements so the Madcow Media could interface with Gaiia´s creatures on an equal footing.

We’ll see. The red dragon has a tendency to say one thing publicly and manipulate another thing privately. Because HUD had problems administering the program, in 1995 it started to contract out the management of Section 8 housing units through a competitive bidding process. A shocking event has occurred in the meandering psychodrama of America’s relationship with North Korea: the world’s great powers have unanimously voted to intensify sanctions against the Hermit Kingdom, as Kim Jong-un continues to push his nuclear weapons program. The United Nations Security Council—which includes North Korea’s two biggest benefactors, China and Russia—seems to finally agree that Pyongyang’s behavior is unacceptable. This is a major diplomatic victory for the Trump Administration. The president should not squander this moment. First, let’s take a quick moment to see how we got here. When Donald Trump stopped off in Minnesota the Sunday before the election, it raised eyebrows. No Republican had won the state since Richard Nixon in 1972. Recall first that the foreign policy of Barack Obama, Ben Rhodes, Susan Rice, and Hillary Clinton could be best termed “provocative appeasement,” and it logically led to the present tensions around the world. She asked him not to write about it, though: “It will make me seem much too pious.” The incident perfectly captures
