In every single week of the Trump presidency, the investigators and attorneys of FBI Director James Comey or, subsequently, of special counsel Robert Mueller, have leaked information that President Donald Trump was under investigation for either colluding with the Russians or obstructing justice—allegations so far without any substantiating evidence. In the case of Comey, we now know that his office or sympathetic third-parties leaked to the press false stories that Trump was under FBI investigation at precisely the time that the careerist Comey was privately reassuring the president himself that he was in fact not being investigated. The appointment of
Trump needs to keep on pressing his agenda. I´d turn off ALL the money going to Leftist orgs, Have the IRS investigate all the 501C´s that are obviously a SHAM involved in heavy politics, and FIRE all the Obama hold overs.
Next I´d turn off every penny going to anything the Democraps want to do!
Now that their lives are a total shambles, what are they going to do...attack Trump?
Excellent article and right on the money. Another thing as someone else said, fire all Obama holdovers. Probably would be amazed at how leaks would diminish and fewer inside would be trying to stop Pres Trump´s agenda. Pence needs to get some spine and start really pushing Congress instead of just being a nice guy.
Only legislative momentum, economic growth, and political deterrence can free Trump from the always expanding Alinskyite labyrinth....The only way that the Resistance can be halted is to insist that its efforts remain lawful. If they are not, perpetrators must be held accountable....
Anyone who makes a direct threat or clear allusion to killing the president of the United States should be put on a terrorist no-fly list for six months, an act that can be done without a formal indictment and trial. If revving up a crowd in Washington by yelling out a personal wish to blow up the White House and its occupants, or holding up a facsimile of the decapitated head of the president to galvanize a video audience does not constitute enough suspicion to take a breather from flying, then nothing much else does. If Madonna had to take a slow freighter back to London, then she might curb her macabre enthusiasm at her next rally.
It is depressing to see the collusion of the Evil Left and the Selfish Right. But it is great to have someone---President Trump---who not only knows how to fight, but is WILLING to fight. And he should use some of the vicious tactics of Lucifer´s illigimate son Alinsky to do it: freeze the target etc.; make them live up to their own rules etc. Actually, SA´s book might not apply JUST to libs; perhaps it is really a guide to the political equivalent of an eye-gouging, groin-kicking, no rules street fight.
Nothing can happen in Congress without the Republicans. Currently, they are against Trump and his agenda. Ryan, McConnell, and Pence are all part of the silent coup. Put pressure on your republican congressman...until they are worried about the Trump, base voting them out, they won´t do a thing.
FTA:"The Trump administration should insist that all universities and colleges that receive federal funds guarantee to their students First Amendment protections of free speech, due process, civil rights, and the right to assemble peacefully. If they cannot or will not comply with the Bill of Rights, then campuses should come under review of their funding from Washington."
That would be a really good move, and he would have huge support for that from the sane people, and more heads would explode on campuses - an added plus.
It is way past time to start prosecuting so many of Hillary and Obama´s people. Why is that not happening? I am just so loathe of our people and how they are not fighting or worse siding with the left. It is infuriating.
This GOPe congress is not Trump´s friend, and is not committed to helping him do anything but fail in the larger picture. No funding for The Wall, for example. No promised repeal of Obamacare. Name one Trumpista in leadership...none. Nixon had more support up to his resignation than Trump has seen from the day he was nominated/elected/inaugurated. While The People got their president, they also got their Congress.
The American economy is not good because the global economy is awful. Go anywhere (except Switzerland) and the USD is king these days. The Euros are all scuffling. The oil economies are being killed by $50/bbl oil. Got to have money to import stuff, and the Euros don´t have much, not to mention the terror issues.
Funny, too, that while government trumpets the unemployment rate changes, no mention of those "out of the workforce" cadres, nor the number of jobs usurped by an illegal workforce. The US has written of nearly a fifth of its human capital principally in its urban centers. The social costs really don´t matter because this pathology of poverty allows the middle-class employment of an army from police officers and social workers to prison guards and welfare bureaucrats. "Welfare reform" would cut the consumption of goods and services by people who could otherwise not afford them.
Restoring "deterrence" is a joke as the Justice Department is the final arbiter of charges being preferred or legal issues pursued. The deterrence displayed these days is that even the President does not control a government increasingly in rebellion, especially one with an open warrant to spy domestically, to amass data and information on individuals, and which clearly has a "big government" program that reaches into "1984". But, at least we´re all safe and secure, eh?
Following CNN’s retraction of a story surrounding the Russia probe and the resignation of three accomplished journalists, a number of conservative commentators took great joy in railing against the network. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to deliver a rant in which he used his favorite description of the outlet — Fake News — rather judiciously. Well, at least one direct competitor came to the network’s defense — MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. (Tweets) While Scarborough has definitely been on an anti-Trump tilt for a while now, so his comments towards the president aren’t really surprising, his defense of CNN surely
During a speech at the American Library Association’s convention on Tuesday, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton compared the treatment of libraries in Trump administration’s budget to Ray Bradbury’s novel “Fahrenheit 451.” Hillary said, “I believe that libraries and democracy go hand in hand. That’s why it’s so hard to believe that in 2017 in America, libraries are actually under attack from our own government. I’m told that even here at this conference, some of you have had to duck out of sessions to call Congress and urge them not to eliminate federal funding for libraries. The administration has proposed
It was just weeks into President Bill Clinton’s administration when his staff decided the cameras would be off for most of George Stephanopolous’ briefings. People seemed okay with Clinton’s ‘no camera’ rules, but when the Trump administration does it, it’s the end of democracy and freedom of the press. (Photo) In a March 1993 C-SPAN interview with White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers, she explained that the White House stopped the live press briefings because they weren’t “really necessary”. Myers went on to say: “I think that that was something that we did in the first week or two, I
MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi spent several minutes Tuesday heralding Planned Parenthood as "a critical tool for helping saving lives" and said "I´m not an advocate" before having Planned Parenthood´s Director of Constituency Communications come on to defend the organization. Velshi segued into the topic from news about the Senate GOP health care bill. "Senate Republicans announced no vote on their health care bill this week. Does it mean the bill is never going to see the Senate floor?" Velshi asked. "Let´s take a look at the medical service provider which assists millions of Americans every year," Velshi continued. Velshi showed
Barack Obama has been pictured visiting the Tirta Empul Temple during his family trip to Bali. The former president, wife Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia, were yesterday pictured white water rafting down the Ayung River, a popular tourist spot on the Indonesian Island. Today a healthy-looking Obama swapped the bulky hat and life jacket for a white polo shirt and dark jeans while attending the Hindu Balinese water temple, near the town of Tampaksiring. Michelle, Sasha and Malia wore yellow sarongs and sashes - known as a selendang - over their clothes, as is customary when visiting holy
The House Intelligence Committee met behind closed doors Tuesday with John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman, amid complaints by President Donald Trump that the Obama administration didn’t do enough to counter Russian interference in the U.S. election. Podesta’s email account was hacked, as was the Democratic National Committee’s. Many of those emails were then leaked, producing a steady, negative and sometimes embarrassing stream of news about Clinton’s campaign. But the Democrats didn’t cooperate fully with U.S. investigators. “The president and the entire administration were dealing with an unprecedented incidence of the weaponization” of Russian cyberactivity, Podesta told reporters after
Mark Levin´s new book, "Rediscovering Americanism," an assault on the media and progressives and a call for Americans to take back their country, debuts today at No. 1 on Amazon. Showing the draw of the New York Times bestselling author and top syndicated radio host, his book is already on the way to becoming another big seller. "My new book covers a lot of territory — philosophy, history, economics, law, culture, etc. And I look deeply into what is meant by Americanism, republicanism, individualism, capitalism. What do we mean by natural law, unalienable rights, liberty, and property rights? From where
WASHINGTON –The Cubs bought their 2016 World Series trophy to Capitol Hill on Tuesday and lug it to the White House on Wednesday for a meeting with President Donald Trump – expected by team honchos Tom and Todd Ricketts to be more low-key than the love fest former President Barack Obama squeezed in before leaving office. The Cubs are here for a four-game series with the NationaIs; Todd Ricketts told the Chicago Sun-Times, “I think the president just knew that we all were going to be here going to baseball games and thought it would be fun to come up
We know that President Obama had it in for Gen. Michael Flynn. The former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency was a persistent critic of Obama’s feckless policies, especially regarding ISIS. Obama reportedly advised president-elect Trump not to offer Flynn a high level position. According to this report from Circa, the FBI’s Andrew McCabe also had an ax to grind with Flynn. A few years ago, Robyn Gritz, a supervisory special agent, filed a discrimination/retaliation claim against the FBI. Flynn supported Gritz’s claim. According to Circa, he wrote a letter of support in 2014 on his official Pentagon stationery, backed
Underscoring the earth´s ever-changing face, a new island has been spotted off the coast of North Carolina. The crescent-shaped landmass off the tip of Cape Point in Buxton started surfacing in spring and now it measures around one-mile long and more than 400 feet wide. Locals have dubbed the sandbar Shelly Island, because of the vast quantities of shells littering its shores. Scroll down for video (Photo) Janice Regan, who lives nearby, told the Virginian Pilot that it was actually her grandson who came up with the apt moniker. She added that the island was just a ´little bump´ in
The Senate Judiciary Committee is probing alleged political interference by former Attorney General Loretta Lynch in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Last Thursday, two Republicans and two Democrats on the committee sent letters to four people, including Lynch. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Crime and Terrorism Subcommittee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Ranking Member Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) signed the letters, all pointing to an April 22, 2017 New York Times report that said the FBI obtained an email or memo "written by a Democratic operative who expressed confidence that Ms. Lynch would keep
Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the White House Press Corps on Tuesday that CNN was “a disgrace to journalism.” Sanders’s remarks came after CNN retracted a “fake news” story over the weekend alleging links between a member of President Donald Trump’s transition team and a Russian firm, and after an exposé on Monday by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas showed a CNN producer admitting the Russia story was “bullsh*t.” (Video) Earlier in the day, President Donald Trump had blasted CNN on Twitter, along with other mainstream media networks. He also retweeted a parody of the CNN logo that recast
Former national security adviser and UN ambassador Susan Rice refuses to go quietly into retirement, even though she remains one of the most controversial figures of the Obama Administration. Now, thanks to a glowing profile in New York Magazine, we know that despite Susan Rice’s very public shortcomings (whatever happened to that dastardly filmmaker who spurred violence across the Middle East, anyway?), she believes any criticism of her tenure is at least partly the result of racism and sexism. When asked why she became a “target” in the Trump Administration, she replied, “I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about
Just days before he resigns from Congress, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said Monday that House and Senate lawmakers should receive a $2,500 per month housing allowance — something he explained would help ease housing costs for members who can’t afford two mortgages or rents. “I really do believe Congress would be much better served if there was a housing allowance for members of Congress,” Chaffetz told The Hill in an interview in his Capitol office, where he sleeps whenever he’s in Washington. “In today’s climate, nobody’s going to suggest or vote for a pay raise. But you shouldn’t have to be
Ohio Gov. John Kasich came out against the Senate Republican health care bill Sunday, saying both Republicans and Democrats need to do a better job at helping poor people. “Both parties ought to be worried about poor people, because I don’t think either party particularly cares about helping poor people,” Mr. Kasich, who lost the Republican Party’s presidential nomination to President Trump last year, told CNN’s Dana Bash. “You look at the rates of poverty, the problems in this country,” he continued. “We have not designed a system to get people work. Everything we’re talking about now — getting people
Actor and filmmaker Rob Reiner was shredded by social media users over the weekend after he called for an “all out war” to resist President Donald Trump. Writing on Twitter Sunday, the All in the Family star mentioned a Fox News report about the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 election. “When Fox says that DT colluding with the enemy is not a crime, the fight to save Democracy is now an all out war. US-Stay strong. #Treason,” he wrote. (Tweet) Reiner’s remarks were slammed by several social media users, many of them suggesting that the actor’s tweet
I’ve been talking about the importance of protecting against voting-machine hacks since 2002. And now, finally, people are starting to take me seriously. The move to paperless voting started in response to the Florida “hanging chad” fiasco in the 2000 presidential election. Some people (like me) thought this was a mistake, but such concerns were often dismissed. Now, apparently, you can’t be paranoid enough. As Politico’s Bob King noted, while 10 years ago critics of paperless voting were called paranoid, now both parties are worried. It remains true that there is no actual evidence that a single vote was changed by hackers
The Obama adventures continue! Barack Obama and his family went rafting on the Ayung River in Bali on Monday amid their nine-day vacation to Indonesia, where the former president lived for several years as a child. Obama, wife Michelle and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, were invited to vacation in Indonesia by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, who also asked the family to visit the presidential Bogor Palace in West Java during their trip, according to ABC News. Obama will also speak at an Indonesian Diaspora Congress in Jakarta on July 1. Obama moved to Indonesia in 1967 at age 6
A U.S. warship struck by a container vessel in Japanese waters failed to respond to warning signals or take evasive action before a collision that killed seven of its crew, according to a report of the incident by the Philippine cargo ship´s captain. Multiple U.S. and Japanese investigations are under way into how the guided missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald and the much larger ACX Crystal container ship collided in clear weather south of Tokyo Bay in the early hours of June 17. In the first detailed account from one of those directly involved, the cargo ship´s captain said the ACX Crystal had
The New York Daily News’ senior justice writer Shaun King blasted Christians Monday for perpetrating white supremacy for their support of President Donald Trump’s immigration halt. King put out a series of tweets accusing Christians who supported the halt of “fake faith” after the Supreme Court allowed Trump’s immigration ban to go into effect. (Snip) “To support a ban on immigrants & refugees, while calling yourself a Christian, is not faith, it’s white supremacy disguised as religion,” King tweeted.
Al Gore is ‘an idiot’ who only made his vast fortune just because he happened to get lucky by obsessing about climate change. Possibly we’d all guessed this already. Now it has been confirmed by an expert in the field of finance – Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman and fellow investment billionaire Charlie Munger. Munger, who was speaking at an informal investors’ Q & A – recorded here – clearly does not rate Gore’s intelligence or investment acumen. “Al Gore has come into you fellas business, Munger said. “He has made $3 or $400 million in your business. And
Police are on the hunt for a couple who were caught on video camera beating a restaurant owner and her 15-year-old daughter because they weren´t happy with their meals. The incident happened at the Qwik Chick takeout stand next to U.S. Highway 1 in Baxley, Georgia just after 3pm on Thursday, reported WTOC. The couple, identified as Nathaniel Eric Smith and Latasha M. Smith, got into an altercation with the food store´s owner, Jeanette Norris, because they said their chicken was cold and they didn´t have enough fries. Norris refunded their money but she said they went ´berserk´ anyway and
The Supreme Court said Monday that most of President Trump’s travel ban executive order can go into effect, delivering the first major victory to the new administration on perhaps his most controversial policy to date. Justices said the lower court rulings that blocked Mr. Trump’s policy were far too broad, and said the president can begin to enforce his ban against foreigners who don’t already have some ties to the U.S. That means the president can begin denying visas to visitors from six countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — who don’t already have family in the U.S., or some other prior connection such as
Hillary Clinton cited a study showing young people who read the Harry Potter series are "more compassionate" toward immigrants and LGBT community members during her speech Tuesday in Chicago. Clinton made the reference while delivering a speech at the American Library Association´s annual conference, as fans of the popular book series celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first novel´s release. "Years of data suggest that reading fiction builds empathy," she said. "It helps us put ourselves in others´ shoes. One study even found that young people who read the Harry Potter books, which first came out 20 years ago this week, were
