When it comes to canning Mueller,
Trump should hold his fire

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

An Oscar Wilde line comes to mind: “I can resist everything except temptation,” said the famed playwright and novelist. Let’s hope President Trump is made of sturdier stuff and can resist the temptation to tell special counsel Robert Mueller, “You’re fired!” Understandably, Trump is considering doing just that. With leaks about the expanding investigation being spoon-fed to anti-Trump media and with Mueller’s hiring spree including Democratic donors, the president has reason to suspect he’s being set up for a fall. Yet, in the short term at least, there is a better option. Instead of firing the special counsel, which would serve as

The author may be on to something, Sessions has been a real disappointment. For a replacement Trump should not hire another elitist Washington insider as the author suggests, but someone he can trust. And he needs to step up his effort to drain the swamp and get rid of those who are trying to undermine him.

Interesting idea, but there is going to be a storm anyway, so why not fire Sessions, Rosenstein, Mueller, Koskinen, and just clean the slate?

The President certainly has options. All should be carefully evaluated. One that I would suggest is to stop the tweeting. I have no problem with it since it makes liberal heads explode trying to keep up. But imagine if the President went silent. The libs would not be able to stand not knowing what he was thinking. Then the lies would really start flowing. It would be a sight to behold.

The Sessions problem is he came from the critters enclave and hesitates to clobber them.
If he can´t stand outside the fireplace and clean house he needs to turn it over to a hard core patriot.
P. Trump´s real outlet right now is getting his message out without lies attached from the critter swamp. Actually Twitter Is equal to a daily broadcast not edited by the attack dogs.
There is no gentle men´s honor being offered right now.So any open rebuttal has to be blunt.

We need a smart border wall,

We have driverless vehicles, we can use facial recognition software as payment for goods, and outer space is the next hot commercial travel destination. Yet we continue to debate the efficacy of a third century solution to secure our nation’s southern border. The American people are frustrated and have every right to be. The federal government should have secured our borders by now. The tools to do so are available and have existed for some time in the private sector. I used many of them when I worked for a private intelligence firm after nearly a decade of service in the CIA.

When former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and President Bill Clinton were busted secretly meeting aboard Lynch´s private plane last summer by a local television reporter, a number of government watchdog groups filed lawsuits for documents surrounding the meeting. After all the FBI, under the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice, was actively investigating Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information at the time. In response to information requests, the FBI and DOJ said documents didn´t exist. Fast forward more than a year and it turns out hundreds of documents related to the meeting do exist and show the Department

Over the weekend, the New York Times published a story on Republicans who supposedly are angling for their party’s 2020 presidential nomination: “Republican Shadow Campaign for 2020 Takes Shape as Trump Doubts Grow.” The story was, of course, part of the paper’s daily war on President Trump. Its purpose was to cause “doubts” about President Trump’s being the GOP nominee in 2020 to “grow.” The Times article contains no actual news. It quotes a handful of people speculating about the motives of Republicans like Mike Pence, John Kasich and Tom Cotton who are–can you believe it?–attending political events around the country: Senators

President Trump faces nonstop criticism and a hostile news media which advances one narrative after another, building their case against him with mostly anonymous sources, suggestive headlines and clever speculation. But he carries on. The result? Among other things, the economy has improved, there’s a glow on Main Street and the stock market continues to soar to record highs despite rumor mongering and unproven innuendo from the “resistance.” Numbers, however, tend to speak louder to Americans than innuendo. The U.S. Department of Labor’s July 2017 report, for example, found that 209,000 new jobs were created during the month, besting expectations by

Many in the conservative media are urging President Trump to fire his national security advisor, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster. McMaster should be fired forthwith, but the reasons being argued are subsidiary to the primary reasons McMaster has to go. Donald Trump is the reigning king of American victimhood. He is unceasingly pained, injured, aggrieved. The primaries were unfair. The debates were unfair. The general election was unfair. “No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly,” he laments. People refuse to reach past his flaws — which are legion! — and pat him on the back. People refuse to praise his minimal effort and minimal efficacy. They refuse to ignore that the legend he created about himself is a lie. People’s insistence on truth and honest appraisal is so annoying. It’s all so terribly unfair.
