The Illinois official responsible for paying the state´s bills is warning that new court orders mean her office must pay out more each month than Illinois receives in revenue. Comptroller Susana Mendoza must prioritize what gets paid as Illinois nears its third year without a state budget. A mix of state law, court orders and pressure from credit rating agencies requires some items be paid first. Those include debt and pension payments, state worker paychecks and some school funding. Elections have consequences as Illinois is finding out. California isn´t far behind. Hopefully the federal government stays out of it and let´s the chips fall where they may.

The only solution is to increase sales taxes, gas taxes, property taxes, income taxes, payroll taxes, internet and satellite tv taxes, vehicle registration fees, deposit fees on aluminum cans and plastic bottles, professional license fees, building permit fees, the list could go on ad infinitum. Never ever think about cutting spending by slowing the rate of growth of the state budget. If you do that, then children, old people and the poor will die by the millions. When all else fails just ask the Federal Government for a bail out.

State pensioners make too much money. There are too many state employees making too much money. Years and years of democrats stealing public funds and filling their pockets. Don´t bail them out - the only way out is bankruptcy and dumping all Democrat politicians.

When you have a state or city that is controlled by dems for many years and can´t pay its bill because of money wasting projects, the people who voted them should be the ones who are taxed.

And Illinois proudly cast their 20 electoral votes for Hillary Clintoon.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Illinois, land of BO and the broken Chicago Machine.

Another progressive state driving itself into unsustainability with their "principles", aka payoffs to their political friends. It´s tough now that BO´s federal slops piggy bank has dried up.

Let´s watch as a court manager takes over the state and deals with its insolvency by erasing pensions to unions and unrealistic paychecks to state workers.

But most important, NO federal bailouts. Maybe they can go live with Hillary.

The Democrats, as they always do, paid themselves very generously, but not with taxes, by borrowing. The taxpayers would never agree to higher taxes, and would vote the Democrats out of office, so the Democrats borrow it. Eventually the lenders notice, with rising anxieties, that the Democrats do not pay anything back--ever, but instead roll it over. So lenders become reluctant, but the bills continue to rise, and Democrats must finally come to raising taxes, declaring bankruptcy, or getting the Federal government, us, to pay for it, which is likely, unfortunately. I hope Trump says No.

Mike Madigan has been Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives for 30 years. He´s a tax-borrow-and-spend Democrat. The Dems have gerrymandered the districts so that it is nearly impossible to have a Republican majority in the House or Senate.

Bruce Rauner has been gov for two years. The Republican gov has refused to go along with tax increases without fundamental reforms.

So the Dems sit there ... pooping their political diapers while the gov is trying to be the adult in the room.

Mike Madigan should be in jail. Did you know his daughter is Illinois Attorney General? Talk about corruption!!!

If it´s a Clinton or Obambi judge, the next step will be to order the printing of money. Who cares if the Constitution prohibits States from printing money. The Constitution was written by a bunch of evil white men. The Constitution, according to Obambi and company, is a list of negative rights, so printing money will just be another avenue of reparations and redistribution.

A Milwaukee jury on Wednesday acquitted a former police officer in the on-duty shooting of a black man last year that ignited riots on the city’s north side. Jurors found that Dominique Heaggan-Brown, who is also black, was not guilty of first-degree reckless homicide when he shot 23-year-old Sylville Smith after a brief foot chase following a traffic stop Aug. 13. Smith had a gun when he ran, but the case hinged on whether he was a threat when Heaggan-Brown fired the shot that killed him. Body-camera video showed Heaggan-Brown shooting Smith once in the arm as he appeared to

Jon Ossoff was on a trajectory to defeat Karen Handel narrowly, poised to deliver a humiliating blow to the White House in a race billed as a referendum of Donald Trump’s early months in office. Then the Republican voters in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District unexpectedly showed up in droves. Pollsters say sky-high turnout drove Handel, the GOP nominee, to a nearly 4-point victory on Tuesday, despite most pre-election surveys showing Ossoff with a small-but-shrinking lead. Mathematically, a 4-point loss for a Democratic House candidate in a district that has traditionally elected Republicans by wide margins is an encouraging result for

They join Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee as states already subjected to the ban. The deadly collision between a U.S. destroyer and a container ship June 17 took place while the freighter was on autopilot, according to Navy officials. The Philippines-flagged cargo ship ACX Crystal was under control of a computerized navigation system that was steering and guiding the container vessel, according to officials familiar with preliminary results of an ongoing Navy investigation. Investigators so far found no evidence the collision was deliberate. Nevertheless, an accident during computerized navigation raises the possibility the container ship´s computer system could have been hacked and the ship deliberately steered into the USS Fitzgerald, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer. Johnson told the House Intelligence Committee outright that the Russians failed to alter “ballots, ballot counts or reporting of election results.” Yes, it’s clear Russia (with Vladimir Putin’s full approval) orchestrated cyberattacks designed to influence the 2016 contest, and also pushed fake news.
