So much for defanging the poisonous debate in Washington. Dozens of congressional staffers erupted into boos, jeers and even vulgar gesticulations Thursday when President Trump appeared in a video at the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park. Mr. Trump delivered a message of unity, but some fans in the stands weren’t having any of it. One man shouted an expletive at the video screen as Mr. Trump was telling the fans: “We are showing the world we will not be intimidated by threats.” The episode marred what had been a night celebrating those wounded in Wednesday’s murderous attack on GOP players practicing for
Comments: The radicalization of the dRATS party has truly taken place when there should have been a shared respect for the true tragedy that could have befallen our political system. Not only does this strike hard at our way of life by those who govern US, but must embolden our enemies worldwide to see US as weak. Beware, as war is coming, beyond this psychological one by the dRATS.
I would have been shocked if they didn´t boo. The dims are the scum of the earth. Disgusting heinous slime. Every last one of them. Biggest threat to America? Dims. Every single problem this country has has either been caused by, or made worse by the Dims. Oh, and I am feeling conciliatory this morning. You don´t want to know how I really feel.
I am sorry, but all this talk of unity by the democrats is pure unadulterated stinking bunk. The only reason they even offered condolences at all was because they knew it was one of their own that had perpetrated this evil act. I am not buying it. In fact, Nancy Pelosi could not hold her empathy together for 24 hours.
The left has crossed the Rubicon regarding moving violent speech into violent action with their embrace of Occupy Wall Steet, BLM, La Raza, ANTIFA, etc. They are clearly moving toward more violence. Don´t let them fool you. They have thrown off any pretense of rejecting vilolent speech or action as we have witnessed across the country on college campuses. Their ideas have been rejected by the American people. All they have now is coercion by force. The left truly has embraced the dark side. It is better that we acknowledge that than try and assure ourselves that they have changed. We can´t afford to play the fool if we want to save the Republic.
Same little creepy Demonrat staffers who exempted themselves from Obamacare. The corrupt, mentally stifled staffers are a huge part of the problem in government, just as elite as the destructive ruling class Demonrats they work for in Boomtown.
Who are these ´staffers´? What are their names, and what are their job duties? What are their salaries? If we are paying them in any way with tax $, we should be able to know exactly who they are and what they´re supposed to be doing.
This work week has been rough with late hours trying to keep this country safe but I´ll be nice because it´s Friday. These rat staffers if they´re being paid with our money need to be fired. If they´re on a summer internship they need to let go. No matter who the President is they deserve our respect and if they don´t get that then find somewhere else to work.
Why is there not massive public outrage over these so-called "Staffers". Surely, this was on video. These people have got to be publicly indicted. Shown for the crass, low life pukes they are. Mr. Trump, you have Got to fight back.
Obie, Billary, the dims in general, and the msm will be back to business as usual today with a new rollout of hate.
I don´t buy this unity garbage from them for second. Sad that the pubbies are going along with it. Only reason you are seeing it from the dims is because they got caught with their pants down with Hodgkinson. Next time, they won´t even care.
How much more proof does one need. Democrats are beyond help. They have turned into gutter rats with no morals, no values, no soul and zero respect for anyone. Democrats don´t have political views, they are people who have been indoctrinated and brainwashed into a sick religion. They preach tolerance yet THEY are the most intolerant people on the planet. This country better wake up soon. Got it.
This was just a Shameless and revolting display. Don´t think for one minute that there won´t be more blood coming sooner rather than later. If you don´t carry already you might want to start... Your life might depend on it.

It was read that (quite by accident) the truth was let out of the bag. Staffers consist of rats (for BOTH parties). It makes sense in that only in DC the majority of the population would be rats (it´s the atmosphere in this location, it´s the golden goose which has the filled purse) Staffers prepare questions for all formal investigations, among many other responsibilities. How often do you yell at Your Representative/Senator as to why certain questions are asked or are not asked. Rats have infiltrated EVERY branch of government from the roots to the leaves on the branches. Yet the pubbies do nothing to eradicate the varmints. WHY IS THAT?
On the heels of raising the possibility of pardoning Sheriff Joe Arpaio, President Trump will travel to Arizona next Tuesday to hold a campaign-style rally in Phoenix. The Trump campaign has scheduled a rally in Phoenix on Tuesday night in what will be the president’s first arena-sized public appearance since the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend, over white nationalist ideology. Last week, Mr. Trump said he would consider a pardon for Mr. Arpaio, the Maricopa County sheriff and political ally who was found guilty of criminal contempt for defying a judge’s order to stop targeting illegal immigrants during
The Interior Department won’t be removing monuments to Confederate soldiers at national battlefields that are “an important part of our country’s history,” according to a spokesman. “The National Park Service is committed to safeguarding these memorials while simultaneously educating visitors holistically and objectively about the actions, motivations and causes of the soldiers and states they commemorate,” spokesman Jeremy Barnum told E&E News. National Park statements come after a woman was killed counter-protesting a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va. The city voted to remove a statue of
A pro-Trump rally dubbed the "Mother of All Rallies" (MOAR) is set to take place in Washington, D.C. the very same day as a march on the mall is being held by the Juggalos, the fanbase of the rap-rock group Insane Clown Posse, in protest of the FBI´s classification of Juggalos as a "loosely organized hybrid gang." Both demonstrations are set to take place on September 16th and both eye the National Mall as the backdrop for their protests. Organizers of the MOAR event say their demonstration, which is being promoted as the "Woodstock of American Rallies," is set to "send a message to Congress, the media and the world we stand
Little Rock, AR - A federal appeals court panel ruled Wednesday that Arkansas can block Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood, two years after the state ended its contract with the group over videos secretly recorded by an anti-abortion group. In a 2-1 ruling, an 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel vacated preliminary injunctions a federal judge issued preventing the state from suspending any Medicaid payments for services rendered to patients from Planned Parenthood. Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson ended the state´s Medicaid contract with the organization in 2015. The court ruled the unnamed patients suing
Washington - A desperate search was underway Wednesday for five crew members who were aboard an Army helicopter that suddenly went down off of Hawaii. The downed UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was on a training mission with another helicopter when it was reported missing at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, about two miles from Kaena Point, which is the westernmost tip of the island of Oahu, the U.S. Army said in a statement. A "debris field" was spotted some two hours later, but there was no sign of the crew members, the U.S. Coast Guard reported. The two helicopters are from the 25th Infantry Division's Combat Aviation
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has signed a landmark bill to provide free abortions for all, including illegal immigrants, by requiring insurance companies to cover the procedures and putting taxpayers on the hook for the tab. Tuesday’s long-awaited signing of House Bill 3391, approved by the State Legislature July 5 with no Republican votes, triggered a torrent of criticism from conservatives along with praise from the pro-choice movement. “Thank Kate Brown for signing the nation’s most progressive reproductive health bill into law today!” NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon said in a statement.
The Trump administration confirmed Wednesday it will make critical Obamacare payments to insurers for August — one day after congressional scorekeepers outlined the risks of cutting off the contested reimbursements over the long haul. The decision will allow insurers to breathe easy in the coming weeks but do little to calm their demands for a permanent commitment to the “cost-sharing reductions,” which reimburse plans for picking up low-income customers’s costs on the Affordable Care Act’s web-based exchanges. President Trump has suggested he would suspend the payments to speed Obamacare’s demise,
The 40th anniversary of the launch of two of NASA’s most remarkable spacecraft is fast approaching. The Voyager 2 mission launched into space on August 20, 1977, followed by Voyager 1 on September 5, 1977. And since their departure from Earth, both spacecraft have accumulated various accolades. Voyager 1 is the first spacecraft to enter interstellar space—the region outside the heliosphere, a giant electromagnetic bubble created by the sun—and is the most distant human-made object ever. And Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to fly by all four planets of the outer solar system: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has donated $100,000 (£77,690) to an anti-hate charity in the wake of violent clashes between white supremacists and anti-racism campaigners in Charlottesville, Virginia. The actor and former Governor of California said he was “horrified” and “heartbroken” by the violence, which claimed the life of Heather Heyer, 32, who was killed when a car rammed into protesters. James Fields, 20, has been charged with her murder. (Snip) Writing on his Facebook page, Schwarzenegger said he would donate $100,000 to the Simon Wiesenthal Center – “an anti-hate organisation I’ve worked with for
Donald Trump said he’s disbanding two advisory groups of American business leaders, after CEOs quit this week as the president faced blowback for failing to sufficiently condemn white supremacists. Trump made the announcement on Twitter, less than an hour after one of the groups was said to be planning to inform the White House that it would break up. “Rather than putting pressure on the business people of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both. Thank you all!” Trump said on Twitter. His remarks were a reversal of what he said a day before, when he tweeted that he had plenty of CEOs who
President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for supposedly backing down off his threats to bomb the Pacific U.S. territory of Guam. Tensions between the U.S. and North Korea have escalated over the past few weeks and until now, Trump’s tough rhetoric and warnings only increased. “Kim Jong Un of North Korea made a very wise and well reasoned decision. The alternative would have been both catastrophic and unacceptable!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning, the day after North Korea’s state media said Pyongyang delayed a plan to fire missiles toward Guam.
President Trump’s new campaign trip to Arizona next week has state Republicans speculating that he is going to endorse a primary challenger to Sen. Jeff Flake. Mr. Trump is leaning towards endorsing Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWitt, state Republican sources told The Washington Times, in a move that could help crystalize the race. Mr. DeWitt, who was chairman of the Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign in Arizona, has been eyeing the race but has not yet announced his candidacy. The White House announced the Aug. 22 rally on Wednesday, and it comes at a time when Arizona has emerged as a key test for the GOP,
Fox News´s Kat Timpf slammed President Trump on Tuesday for his "disgusting" press conference in which he again blamed "both sides" for the violence that occurred in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend, stepping back from his direct condemnation of white supremacist groups a day earlier. "It was one of the biggest messes I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe it happened," said Timpf, a co-host of “The Fox News Specialists.” “It is honestly crazy for me to have to comment on this right now because I’m still in the phase where I am wondering if it was actually real life —
Mitt Romney fired back at President Trump for saying “both sides” were responsible for violence at a white supremacist rally over the weekend, claiming that the two clashing groups were more “morally different universes.” “No, not the same. One side is racist, bigoted, Nazi. The other opposes racism and bigotry. Morally different universes,” Romney tweeted Tuesday. (Tweet) Romney was responding to Trump’s comments Tuesday that “both sides” were to blame for the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday. Trump drew fire for saying Saturday that "many sides" were to blame for the violence at the
President Trump should have left well enough alone. His Monday denunciation of costumed sheet-wearers and Nazi wanna-bes could have cleared the way for Americans of all stripes to focus their outrage on things that matter more than presidential words. That would be the violence that is infecting our politics and the frightening acceptance of it as the new normal. But Trump’s defiance yesterday is sure to keep the media pot boiling over his rhetoric instead of an ominous reality. Namely, that real protestors don’t carry baseball bats, crowbars and mace. Yet Saturday’s bloody clash in Charlottesville showed that many on
The president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing has resigned from President Trump´s American Manufacturing Council, making him the fifth business leader to do so. “I’m resigning from the Manufacturing Jobs Initiative because it´s the right thing for me to do,” Scott Paul tweeted Tuesday. (Snip) Paul´s exit comes amid backlash over the president´s response to the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend. Paul is joining Kenneth Frazier, the CEO of major pharmaceutical company Merck; Kevin Plank, the CEO of Under Armour; and Brian Krzanich, the CEO of Intel, who all resigned from the president’s
Some House Democrats renewed calls for Congress to impeach President Trump on Tuesday after he resorted to blaming "both sides´ for a violent rally in Charlottesville, Va., this past weekend organized by white nationalist groups. "POTUS is showing signs of erratic behavior and mental instability that place the country in grave danger," said Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., in a tweet Tuesday night. "Time to invoke the 25th Amendment." (Tweet) Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., also called on Republicans to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump. "As we once again hear Donald J. Trump defend those responsible for the deadly riot in Charlottesville
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has weighed in on the weekend´s violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigating Donald Trump without naming him. ´We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-nazis,´ McConnell said in a statement. The choice of words, while careful, appeared to push back against Trump´s claim on Tuesday that some ´very fine people´ were among a crowd of white supremacists who rallied in the college town. McConnell´s wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, stood next to Trump on Tuesday as he insisted both sides of the weekend´s clash bore some responsibility for
Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina warned President Trump on Wednesday that his “words are dividing Americans, not healing them” in the wake of the bloody clashes in Virginia that has sparked a national conversation about white supremacists and race. Mr. Graham also vowed that Republicans will “fight back against the idea that the party of Lincoln has a welcome mat out for the David Dukes of the world.” “Through his statements yesterday, President Trump took a step backward by again suggesting there is moral equivalency between the white supremacist neo-Nazis and KKK members who attended the Charlottesville rally and people like
Former presidential candidate and current Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich may be moving closer to mounting a primary challenge against President Trump in the 2020 election. Sources close to Kasich told Willie Geist of the "Today Show" there is growing a sense of "moral imperative" to run against Trump for the Republican nomination in 2020 following his controversial statements on the deadly protest in Charlottesville, Va. (Tweet) Kasich has long been critical of Trump. On Tuesday, Kasich criticized Trump´s Charlottesville comments, saying "there is no moral equivalency to Nazi sympathizers" following Trump´s tumultuous press conference. Kasich, who lost to Trump
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), America’s largest Muslim civil rights group, is calling on state and local governments all over the United States to tear down all monuments and memorials commemorating Confederate leaders and the short-lived Confederate States of America. CAIR joined several groups asking for the removal of Confederate memorials in the wake of a “Unite the Right” white supremacist rally that turned violent over the weekend. (Snip) Nihad Awad, CAIR’s national executive director, urged state and local governments to erase every symbol and every vestige of Confederate history immediately. “A fitting response to the deadly terror attack
A crowd of ignorant protesters pulled down a bronze Confederate statue that stood before a county government building in Durham, North Carolina — the angry national backlash to the Charlottesville brouhaha over the Robert E. Lee monument. This is not how civil societies operate. And yet this is what the left has brought, and now cheers. What’s next — burning books with offensive content? Burning books written by those who used to own slaves? At the very least, museums will have to go. The problem with revising history based on a standard of “feeling offensive” — as this anti-Confederate craze is rooted — is that someone,
Former RNC chair Michael Steele says there is no other conclusion to be drawn: President Donald Trump is a racist. Speaking on the Steele & Ungar show — which airs on Sirius XM’s POTUS channel — the former RNC head blasted Trump’s response to Charlottesville. “This playing to the – it’s not even baser instincts. This is just raw, ugly, racism and hatred,” Steele said. “What, for votes? And so this is the Frankenstein monster that’s been created from a campaign that gave license to that.” Co-host Rick Ungar mentioned that a listener sent him an email asking if Steele thinks Trump
In Gainesville, Florida, workers hired by the Daughters of the Confederacy chipped away at a Confederate soldier´s statue, loaded it quietly on a truck and drove away with little fanfare. In Baltimore, Mayor Catherine Pugh said she´s ready to tear down all of her city´s Confederate statues, and the city council voted to have them destroyed. San Antonio lawmakers are looking ahead to removing a statue that many people wrongly assumed represented a famed Texas leader who died at the Alamo. Some people refused to wait. Protesters in Durham, North Carolina, used a rope to pull down the nearly century-old
