GOP Rep. Jones: ´Resentment and
Hatred´ in Political Climate ´Started with

PJ Media, by Nicholas Ballasy

WASHINGTON – Reacting to the shooting of House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) on Wednesday, Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) said it would be “good” if both parties could agree on ways to restrict access to guns for “deranged people” from “all over the country and all over the political spectrum.” (Snip) The congressman said he thinks the current political climate “all started with President Obama being an African-American.” “I just think that was the beginning, and now with the current occupant of the White House, I just hope that maybe he will see this as an opportunity to change some

Wow! That just takes my breath away. And this is from a Republican! What a stupid, pathetic, outrageous thing to say when tensions are ready to explode in this country. Stupid party doesn´t even begin to describe this. Once again a Republican hands a big fat gift to the Democrats that they and their buddies in the media will be sure to use as a cudgel to beat them over the heads with in the future. I can´t believe he has a ´C´ rating from Conservative Review. That statement should earn him an ´F.´

Contd. No Republican ever uttered a word about Obama as horrific as the Democrats have about Trump or Republicans. Of course the Democrats take absolutely NO responsibility for or even acknowledge the hatred, invectives, extreme violence and rhetoric from the left. That of course was all fomented and encouraged by none other than Barack Hussein Obama and it has done nothing but escalate.

I am absolutely stunned. Just when you think they can´t do or say anything worse you see this. I´m getting whiplash from shaking my head.

Horsecrap.

The true political demonization began with how they characterized Goldwater as unhinged and racist. Then continued with Reagan. To this day, the Left continues to dehumanize their opponents to deligitimize them.

Many did resent Obama because of his race, but it was never put into play by the GOP; however, every time some wingnut went off on Obama´s race, it was hung around the GOP like an albatross. Dems, of course, get a pass when a "progressive" goes off the reservation.

au contraire, Mr. Jones

It started long before then. It is remembered when HRC came out with this
during the Bush administration, Hillary Clinton angrily lamented: "I´m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you´re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we´re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration."

A more hateful old biddy would be hard to find. The subsequent Barack just built on the foundation laid. "Our ´folks´ should get in their face" "They bring a knife; we bring a gun"

GOD help us all.

In my opinion the hatred in the political climate was given a big boost by WHO Obama was, not what color he was. He tried to divide this country in so many ways and created untold "victims". Had we elected someone such as Dr. Ben Carson our country would be totally different today.

Well when any disagreement with Obama´s unconstitutional transformational march to socialism was met with accusations of racism it sure was a significant factor.

Gee wiz it seems to me that the left proclaimed Bush stole the election and lied because he believed what every other Western leader and Hillary believed.

Reagan was going to start WWIII sending Slim Pickens to the nuclear rodeo.

What malarkey!! What unmitigated drivel and lies!!

I would have welcomed a candidate, who was black, or any non-European if they had half the compassion and dedication of MLK, or at least wanted to continue his dream.

But instead we got a man trained in agi-prop, of doubtful origins - a communist trained friend of a domestic terrorist who was promoted as the second coming of Jesus Christ!!

Resentment and hatred started prior to the Civil War and the Democrats haven´t let go of it since!! The only thing they´ve done is seek camouflage as they continue to attempt to take control of everyone elses lives and rule them like the unrepentant tyrants they are!

Jones can go to hell! I certainly wish he´d leave the party with an attitude like that! What a mealy-mouthed whiner he is.

A Senate chairman on Tuesday took a significant step toward working with Democrats on stabilizing a core facet of ObamaCare — the healthcare exchanges. Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), who helms the Senate Health Committee, announced he will hold bipartisan hearings during the first week of September on strengthening ObamaCare’s individual markets for 2018. The goal: to craft a bipartisan, short-term proposal by mid-September. The announcement came just days after the Senate failed to pass a scaled-down version of an ObamaCare repeal bill and could deepen the divisions that have plagued the party throughout the repeal-and-replace effort. The hearings will give Democrats — particularly

Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio was convicted on Monday of defying a court order to stop rounding up immigrants, and he may face jail time — another rebuke for a once-popular politician who was voted out of office last year. In 24 years as sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., Mr. Arpaio built a national reputation for harsh conditions in his county jail, and for his campaign against undocumented immigrants; his deputies detained people solely based on a belief that they were in the country illegally, and then turn them over to immigration authorities for deportation.
