ABC News has not independently confirmed the report, which cites U.S. officials. Reached by ABC News, special counsel spokesman Peter Carr offered no comment. Comey criminally leaks an email that is clearly government property. Rosenstein in response appoints his closest buddy Mueller as Special Counsel with unlimited powers. Mueller plans blanket amnesty for Comey. Both of them start looking foe manufactured procedural ´crimes´ to bring down a constitutionally elected administration. Neat uh? How is this any less violent than what happened in Alexandria yesterday?

#1, that does not matter. The left is determined to bring down this President and they will stop at nothing to do it. Evidently, the Republicans have decided to let them. While I loathe the democrats, but I am sickened by the sight of the weak Republican leadership who let Obama skate and now will not vigorously support this President. I am very disappointed in AG Sessions, the President´s advisors, and rank and file Republicans. The democrats are waging war and the Repubicans are hoisting the white flag. This is a conflict that is being fought in the Court of public opinion and the Republicans aren´t even showing up to make an argument. We need warriors and all we have is an abundance of wimps.

If they want to investigate true obstruction of justice, why aren´t they looking into Illary destroying 33,000 emails while she was under an FBI criminal investigation?

(That was a rhetorical question.)

This is infuriating! The leaks continue from the Department of Justice. All illegal. There were no obstruction of justice charges brought against Loretta Lynch and James Comey in the Hillary Clinton email "matter".

Where are the Republicans in Congress calling for leaks of investigations? Why does Mueller get to load up his investigative team with Hillary Democrat lawyers?

What the hell is going on!??

You have President ObBama on national tv say while the FBI was "investigating Hlllary and her emails that he didn´t think did anything wrong, nothing should come of the investigation, but that is not obstruction of justice?

There is no evidence of any crime, and this has gone on way too long. I agree that the Republicans must be secretly supporting these efforts. Why else would they allow this to continue? Shrillary stepped out fronting as the Queen of the Resistance a few months ago. She and her cronies are famous for the "war room." I believe there is a tight inner circle composed of powerful dem leaders, Just-us carry-overs, and media all choreographed together to carry out a coup of our honestly elected leader and his administration. Too much is conveniently orchestrated and piled on to overwhelm in many directions. We are experiencing political terrorism from the Left with their guidance being heightened Alinsky lessons imbued with anything it takes to bring down President Trump, Republican votes (congress) to make and pass bills, notwithstanding murder if necessary to accomplish their goals.
We are witnessing the murder of our country!

No names of sources, "no comment" from spokesperson. How long can the dems and the MSM keep this up until nobody but their own useful idiots continue to listen? They are trying to bait trump into firing Mueller so the obstruction of justice charges can be filed all over again. He´s smarter than that.

Conservatives held back their anger and did little to protest the left in public during the Obama years because we foolishly thought that the Republican Congress would handle it. We were wrong to trust them. Obama rode over them like a panicked Wildebeest.

I feel a conservative backlash coming on. The left has yet to feel the anger and the power that we have. Keep it up, weasels, and find out what real "resistance" is.

#2 does not go far enough. President Trump must first fire Deputy AG Rosenstein, who promptly appointed Comey´s "good friend" Mueller when AG Sessions recused himself. Then PT should instruct either AG Sessions (override his "recusal", if necessary) or a new conservative Deputy AG to fire Mueller and shut down the entire investigation .. er, "matter".

Damn the Democrat/RINO torpedoes: shut this down and full speed ahead on the task you were elected to accomplish. Drain the swamp.

Sorry for the second post, but I thought it´d be useful to quickly recap what we´ve got here.

The Special Counsel, Mueller...
Is a close friend/BFF of Comey.
Met privately with Comey just before Comey testified.
Is widely praised by Democrats as trustworthy.
Has hired 3 attorneys who are donors to the Democrats.
Is alleged to have done the same thing Trump has been accused of (asking Waco prosecutors to go easy on some of the accused).
And now has someone on his new team leaking even more disclosures.

Yeah, I´m not so sure of the impeccable reputation thing for this guy. Is it just me?

There is one weak ray of sunshine in all of this. At that is if impeachment is attempted against President Trump, I believe it will simply fail in the House. End of story. However, if by some miracle the House did voted Articles of Impeachment against Trump, it then has to go to the Senate for trial. And since it takes I think it take either 2/3 or 3/4 of the senate to vote against Trump. And I don´t believe that there are that many would do so. So, the dims alter war is to try to get enough republicans to force Trump to resign just like happened to Nixon. And again, I don´t think that Trump would do that. He would likely tell them to go to hell.

Why do you think the Comey leaked about Sessions with the Russian ambassador with his senate staff? My guess is to force Sessions to recluse himself from the Trump Russia non issue so democrat McCabe could have his democrat special council filled with democrats. McCabe´s wife took over 1/2 million from Virginia governor McCulliff while running for office (democrat) & he stayed on the committee investigating Hillary Clinton. Talking about a double standard! The republicans should have insisted McCabe be removed. I used to blame democrats, but the republicans allow the democrats to be the bully while they sit like kittens. This special council should never have been formed by Schumer for the purpose of dragging it out until 2020 to say Trump´s been under investigation for 4 years. If I was Trump I would pardon Flynn, after all the dems can´t hate him anymore than they do.

Since his dramatic ride down the escalator to announce his candidacy for president, Donald Trump has attracted comparisons to President Richard Nixon. Some have been positive and striking: The scrappy Republican fighter who outmaneuvers all competitors with a savvy appeal to the forgotten “great silent majority” — including disaffected Democrats — thereby creating a new popular movement. Introducing his 2004 film The Libertine, about a 17th-century poet who notoriously drank himself to an early death, the 54-year-old chose to discuss American politics. "I think [Donald] Trump needs help," he said. "There are a lot of dark places he could go." He added: "I´m not insinuating anything - by the way this will be in the press and it will be horrible - but when was the last

Most illegal immigrants who pay taxes have stolen someone else’s legal identity, and the IRS doesn’t do a very good job of letting those American citizens and legal immigrants know they’re being impersonated, the tax agency’s inspector general said in a new report released Thursday. The theft creates major problems for the American citizens and legal foreign workers whose identities are stolen, and who have to deal with explaining money they never earned. But the IRS only manages to identify half of the potentially 1.4 million people likely affected by the fraud in 2015, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax

[…] John Anzalone, Ossoff’s pollster, said the Democrat’s campaign succeeded in turning out its voters — but they were swamped by Republicans who came out in numbers that ended up dwarfing previous high-profile special elections (link) That’s a very interesting admission/statement for a Politico article. That’s also an example of what happens when President Trump’s ‘Monster Vote‘ turns out. (Politico) Jon Ossoff was on a trajectory to defeat Karen Handel narrowly, poised to deliver a humiliating blow to the White House in a race billed as a referendum of Donald Trump’s early months in office. Then the Republican voters in

The deadly collision between a U.S. destroyer and a container ship June 17 took place while the freighter was on autopilot, according to Navy officials. The Philippines-flagged cargo ship ACX Crystal was under control of a computerized navigation system that was steering and guiding the container vessel, according to officials familiar with preliminary results of an ongoing Navy investigation. Investigators so far found no evidence the collision was deliberate. Nevertheless, an accident during computerized navigation raises the possibility the container ship´s computer system could have been hacked and the ship deliberately steered into the USS Fitzgerald, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer. President Donald Trump has said he will pursue legislation that would bar immigrants from being eligible for welfare for at least five years. At a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, last night he said ´the time has come´ for ´new immigration rules´ that would require those seeking admission to the country to be able to support themselves financially and would bar the use of welfare for a period of at least five years. He said his administration would be ´putting in legislation to that effect very shortly.´ It is unclear, however, how Trump´s proposal would change the current situation.

Attorneys for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl want to ask potential jurors in a court-martial for their views on President Trump and whether they voted for him, according to news reports Wednesday. At a pretrial hearing Wednesday, Berdahl´s lawyers submitted the questions to the judge in the case, out of concern that jurors may be swayed by negative comments Trump made in the presidential campaign about the soldier. "The principal issue has to do with ensuring we are able to identify people who have been nominated to be on the court-martial panel — the jury — who are not in a

President Obama has been out of office only a few months. But he might have both a street and an L.A. freeway named after him soon. Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson has proposed renaming Rodeo Road in southwest L.A. “Obama Boulevard” in honor of the president. Wesson noted that Obama held a campaign rally at Rancho Cienega Park on Rodeo Road when running for president and that the area already has streets named after presidents (Washington, Jefferson, Adams). In May, a plan to name a stretch of the 134 Freeway after Obama moved forward with approval from the

Ex-Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson’s testimony Wednesday should mark the definitive end of “Russia hacked the election” hysteria. Too bad it took so long to get to this point. Johnson told the House Intelligence Committee outright that the Russians failed to alter “ballots, ballot counts or reporting of election results.” Yes, it’s clear Russia (with Vladimir Putin’s full approval) orchestrated cyberattacks designed to influence the 2016 contest, and also pushed fake news. But the hack, and release via WikiLeaks, etc., of Democratic e-mails produced nothing game-changing. The biggest impact was to confirm the obvious: The Democratic National Committee favored Hillary Clinton from the

President Trump said Thursday he has "no idea" if there are recordings of his conversations with former FBI Director James Comey. "With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepts, unmasking and illegal leaking of information, I have no idea … whether there are ‘tapes´ or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, and do not have, any such recordings," Trump said in a two separate tweets Thursday. The president´s announcement caps weeks of speculation as to whether the president had kept recordings of his discussions with Comey, who he fired last month. Trump himself
