Special counsel is investigating
Trump for possible obstruction
of justice, officials say

The special counsel overseeing the investigation into Russia’s role in the 2016 election is interviewing senior intelligence officials as part of a widening probe that now includes an examination of whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice, officials said. The move by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III to investigate Trump’s own conduct marks a major turning point in the nearly year-old FBI investigation, which until recently focused on Russian meddling during the presidential campaign and on whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Investigators have also been

The psychological warfare from the far left side of the aisle continues to ramp up, even after a horrific morning in DC that could have effect the stability of our nation. I believe that the dRATS were taunting President Trump to fire Mueller so they could have added that action to this new stink bomb. We in Texas (and Congress) went through a similar open-ended witch hunt by the dRATS with former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

Congress should step in and call Mueller in front of Committees. Put him under oath and grill him. See how long his pretenses to truth, justice and the American Way stands up.

This goes hand in hand with Al Green (?) who is planning impeachment charges against Trump claiming Trump is committing obstruction of justice. The witch hunt continues.

No surprise, the object of these investigations has always been a political initiative by the insider D.C. Democrats and some never Trumper insider Republicans to undo the election and remove President Trump from office.

The "Collusion with Russia" mantra has always been a hoax and a sham designed to serve as a basis for initiating this Special Counsel investigation.

# 1 that was sarcasm right? Paul Ryan is all for Mueller doing whatever. The Speaker needs to be removed and someone who´s not a globalist replace him and do what you suggested and a lot more. The Democrats have opened the flood gates if the Republicans had any testicles they would not only bring Mueller up there but hillary, valarie, susan, loretta all of obama´s female sycophants testifying under oath! But we all know the Republicans are more concerned about the msm than WTP! Godspeed Rep. Scalise!

Comey leaks a memo alleging that Trump attempted to stop the Flynn investigation (which he could have legally done). Comey claims he was trying to trigger the appointment of a special prosecutor. Voila! Rosenstein appoints Comey´s best friend who is now investigating Trump for obstruction of justice. Could this be any more obviously orchestrated and corrupt? Do they think we are that stupid? Evidently they do.

A backdoor way for Mueller to "immunize" himself from being fired. This cannot stand. Trump should replace Rosenstein and then have either AG Sessions or the new Deputy AG then replace Mueller. This is war: fight it.

What will the Democrats do: turn to violence? /s

Of all the ginned-up "investigations"

Still don´t know what crime they are investigating - Russians did what and Trump and team colluded with what? Huh? Totally ginned-up.

No substance, FTA: "Investigators will also look for any statements the president may have made publicly and privately to people outside the government about his reasons for firing Comey and his concerns about the Russia probe and other related investigations, people familiar with the matter said."

"People familiar?" Who? This will result in Stalinist and Maoist-like show trials, and the Dems think this will help them?

FTA: "Five people briefed on the requests, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly, said Daniel Coats, the current director of national intelligence, Mike Rogers, head of the National Security Agency, and Rogers’s recently departed deputy, Richard Ledgett, agreed to be interviewed by Mueller’s investigators as early as this week. The investigation has been cloaked in secrecy, and it is unclear how many others have been questioned by the FBI."

Five people?? I can´t even believe this!! Who are these traitors, one of those many Democrat lawyers involved? It is laughable that they state it has been ´cloaked in secrecy´ and yet these leaks come out. I thought this was supposed to be the ultimate of secrecy when the special counsel is involved. I would hunt down those leakers and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.

It is totally outrageous and very obvious that the only goal of this sham of an investigation is to bring Trump down. I still cannot believe that Jeff Sessions allowed this to happen. I have always been one of his biggest fans.

If the D.C. Congressional Republicans allow this sham investigation to continue to a conclusion with attempts to remove President Trump from office, and thus undo the election, everyone of them should face primary challengers, with the survivors not receiving any votes from the 60 some million Americans who elected President Trump. That´s the only way to get rid of those Uni-Party wimps.

The whole episode is a setup to get Trump. Comey knew he was going to be fired, so he stayed behind for a setup meeting with the President so he could write a memo to take back and get a special prosecutor appointed, then Trump removed from office based on obstruction of justice, as evidenced by Comey´s memo. This is the way Comey works his process prosecutions. Sessions should fire Mueller right now.

Of course, they need to investigate this point, but that does not mean any happened either.

Seems Comey already acknowledged that much.

So, you rule things in, and rule things out.

We also now know the Special Council has no more lid on leaks as the FBI.

Mueller´s political motivation is crystal clear, he´s being supported by Trump haters like McCain on the GOP side, he´s staffing his lynch mob with Hillary donors. "Obstruction" is a non-crime that is almost impossible to defend against. Mueller is a crook, get rid of him.

This isn´t about the far left or Democrats. It´s about the entire political class. However, Trump´s compulsion for self sabotage has brought him to this point. At his 1/11/17 press conference, the first since his election in Nov. 2016, Trump said he agreed--without a shred of independently verified evidence--that Russia hacked the election and that Putin shouldn´t have done it. Thus, Trump nullified his election and proved stupendously weak. In more self sabotage, Trump hired as NSA chief Mike Rogers who is a major promoter of ´Russia hacked the election in order to tip it to Trump´. Why would you hire someone who believes your election was a fraud? Trump has no stomach to fight the Deep State. He should resign now so we don´t have to watch this in slow motion.

It would seem that there is one person in the USA who CANNOT obstruct justice - the President. Since the President has the power to pardon anyone, for anything, at any time, how is it possible to be obstructing justice when he could just say. "OK, he is pardoned" and it is instantly, irrevocably, and unreviewably OVER? Saying "I hope you can get past this" or something similar is just a passing conversation. If Trump meant it, he would have pardoned Flynn.

While the concept of obstruction of justice makes perfect sense for anyone else, it is an impossibility, really, for the President.

Well, don´t expect any support from the Republican Political class. They want the President´s head as much as the democrats do. What we are witnessing is the globalist cabal of which many are members of both parties is flexing its muscle. They cannot allow Obama´s hard work these past years to be destroyed by the President´s policies. They are only successful if the USA is a hollow shell of its former self. They need us weak, broke, and divided. I wouldn´t put anything past these evil psychopaths. They have no conscience and will do whatever it takes to get Trump out of the White House. If impeachment fails, they will use violence. Count on it.

It is heartbreaking that there are so few men in DC who will stand up for this President. It seems as if he stands alone. Where are the patriots? The time to take a stand is now.

As Title IX celebrates its 45th anniversary, one impact of the law is clear: Millions more girls now grow up playing sports, a reality that seemed impossible in the early 20th century. But the law encompasses much more than providing equal athletic opportunities for girls and women. Title IX touches every aspect of the educational system in ways that are not always apparent to the law’s target population: students. Introducing his 2004 film The Libertine, about a 17th-century poet who notoriously drank himself to an early death, the 54-year-old chose to discuss American politics. "I think [Donald] Trump needs help," he said. "There are a lot of dark places he could go." He added: "I´m not insinuating anything - by the way this will be in the press and it will be horrible - but when was the last

Most illegal immigrants who pay taxes have stolen someone else’s legal identity, and the IRS doesn’t do a very good job of letting those American citizens and legal immigrants know they’re being impersonated, the tax agency’s inspector general said in a new report released Thursday. The theft creates major problems for the American citizens and legal foreign workers whose identities are stolen, and who have to deal with explaining money they never earned. But the IRS only manages to identify half of the potentially 1.4 million people likely affected by the fraud in 2015, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax

[…] John Anzalone, Ossoff’s pollster, said the Democrat’s campaign succeeded in turning out its voters — but they were swamped by Republicans who came out in numbers that ended up dwarfing previous high-profile special elections (link) That’s a very interesting admission/statement for a Politico article. That’s also an example of what happens when President Trump’s ‘Monster Vote‘ turns out. (Politico) Jon Ossoff was on a trajectory to defeat Karen Handel narrowly, poised to deliver a humiliating blow to the White House in a race billed as a referendum of Donald Trump’s early months in office. Then the Republican voters in

The deadly collision between a U.S. destroyer and a container ship June 17 took place while the freighter was on autopilot, according to Navy officials. The Philippines-flagged cargo ship ACX Crystal was under control of a computerized navigation system that was steering and guiding the container vessel, according to officials familiar with preliminary results of an ongoing Navy investigation. Investigators so far found no evidence the collision was deliberate. Nevertheless, an accident during computerized navigation raises the possibility the container ship´s computer system could have been hacked and the ship deliberately steered into the USS Fitzgerald, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer. President Obama has been out of office only a few months. But he might have both a street and an L.A. freeway named after him soon. Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson has proposed renaming Rodeo Road in southwest L.A. “Obama Boulevard” in honor of the president. Wesson noted that Obama held a campaign rally at Rancho Cienega Park on Rodeo Road when running for president and that the area already has streets named after presidents (Washington, Jefferson, Adams). In May, a plan to name a stretch of the 134 Freeway after Obama moved forward with approval from the

MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski compared President Donald Trump’s administration to North Korea Friday, saying “It does feel like a developing dictatorship.” “I will say you can do some work reading history and reading books about how dictatorship happen. The development of very negative forces taking over and what you are seeing is either this happening right now, or someone who’s not well. Very few options,” Brzezinski continued. Co-host Joe Scarborough tried to lighten to mood during the segment, saying, “I think it’s actually more like Hogan’s Heroes if anything else.” Brzezinski she quietly rebuked Trump once more saying

Many Americans have become accustomed to President Trump’s lies. But as regular as they have become, the country should not allow itself to become numb to them. So we have catalogued nearly every outright lie he has told publicly since taking the oath of office. “I wasn´t a fan of Iraq. I didn´t want to go into Iraq.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.)Jan. 21 “A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. I think

Eaarly last August, an envelope with extraordinary handling restrictions arrived at the White House. Sent by courier from the CIA, it carried “eyes only” instructions that its contents be shown to just four people: President Barack Obama and three senior aides. Inside was an intelligence bombshell, a report drawn from sourcing deep inside the Russian government that detailed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s direct involvement in a cyber campaign to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race. But it went further. The intelligence captured Putin’s specific instructions on the operation’s audacious objectives — defeat or at least damage the Democratic nominee,

The televised White House news briefing, after emerging as a can’t-miss ritual of the early days of the Trump administration, has in recent weeks become shorter, less informative and less accessible, with some of the briefings declared off-limits to live broadcasting. The White House Correspondents’ Association is not pleased. “We believe strongly that Americans should be able to watch and listen to senior government officials face questions from an independent news media,” the group’s president, Jeff Mason of Reuters, wrote in a note to members on Friday. Mr. Mason met on Thursday with Sean Spicer, the White House press
