As President Donald Trump prepares to take off on his first trip overseas as president, former President Obama’s officials are already setting the narrative of failure. “Trump is substantively unprepared for high-stakes, 9-day foreign trip, but isn’t bringing ANY actual NSC experts (SDs or Ds) on AF1 to brief,” Colin Kahl, former deputy assistant to President Obama, wrote on Twitter. “No way. Seriously?” Susan Rice, Obama’s former national security adviser, snarked back. But the White House suggests that this kind of chatter is idle speculation from uninformed former aides out of power. “There will be a lot of NSC staff
To Obama, every trip to any foreign country was a vacation. He was wined and dined and treated like a Persian Poohbah. That black man Community Organizer from da hood was never treated so good even in his wildest dreams. But, doing things, hard stuff, statesmanship? No Way! that was way, way over his pay grade. Nope. You could see him gnawing on his nicorette gum, yuking it up. Now, how can trump do any worse than that on a State visit. At least, PT won´t be bowing and kowtowing to these petty tyrants and potentates.
The rise and spread ofJV Team ISIS happened (coincidentally?) on the watch of BarackHussein. ISIS profusely thanks BarackHussein, his Enemedia enablers, and the Former Obama Aides. "Disaster" is apparently in the eye of the beholder.
#7 Amen and a thousand likes. The difference is all of us here knew what a disaster his foreign policy was yet the sycophants in the leftist globalist msm wrote glowing reports of his success which was just pure bull excrement. Like #1 said at least we know President Trump won´t bow down to muslims, Chinese or Japanese and is capable of projecting American strength instead of weakness like obama!
Obama certainly set the world on fire. Not because of his so-called oratory skills but because of his arrogant know-it-all incompetence and his America hating staff. We are now living in a burning inferno that is ready to erupt at any moment. Save your advice, homies.
@13 And they were good trips for the hundreds of friends, family and hangers on that always went with them, staying in the most expensive rooms and prolly eating Wagyu beef for breakfast. We now get to see how he (Obola) still travels as a potentate but at least taxpayers aren´t paying, except for the secret service and I´d like for him to have to cover that himself with his ´self made´ million$.
Seems to me that I can recall that quite a few of the foreign leaders that Obozo "visited" came away commenting about how big a dolt Obozo really is. He simply didn´t make an impression on just about anyone except his own people. Now, I don´t think that is going to happen on President Trump. The whole world already knows that HE is ready to fight back. (Vis a vis missiles fired into Syria)

The collective swamp dwellers who consider President Trump a back woods uncouth lout are overlooking the self made business giant who sets the playing field to his advantage. He does not need hundreds of aides smoothing his way to dealing with leaders of any kind( the reason the taking orders from Putin chant is so nothing. The last thing America needs is another bowing puppet. This first visit day did set the theme--America did not sink into the fake leaders swamp.
Hey I know it´s only been 24 hours, but so far the "disasters" have only included: a royal welcome, a 350 billion dollar deal, a commitent to form a Middle East military pact to fight Islamic terrorism, and a President of the United States who doesn´t bow to the waist to foreign leaders and who doesn´t bad mouth America.
Is it just me or does this sound more like "winning"? But yeah, I can see why this is interpreted as "disasters" to those Obamunists who did everything they possibly could to harm America.
The Obama administration had a secret plan in place to deploy troops to voting stations across the country on election day, according to documents obtained exclusively by TIME Magazine. The New York Post reports: "The Obama administration was poised to send armed federal agents to polling places, deploy the military and launch full-scale counter-propaganda measures in case hackers disrupted the vote on Election Day, according to a report. The 15-page playbook, produced in October, outlined the “enhanced measures” the government was prepared to take in the event of a “significant incident,” Time magazine reported Thursday, citing a copy of
President Trump´s son and his former campaign manager will face a subpoena if they don´t appear willingly before Congress, Senate Judiciary Committee leaders warned. "We asked them for a voluntary appearance," Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the panel, told CNN on Thursday. "I hope they accept the subpoena voluntarily, but if they don´t then you have to have a marshal give it and that takes a little more time." Grassley wants Donald Trump Jr., and Paul Manafort to testify about alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. The request was sparked by news of
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tried to be patriotic but read a false account of the 56 Declaration of Independence signers during her Tuesday press conference. Pelosi read “The Price They Paid,” an article about the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, at a Democrat event to promote a legislative package aimed at reforming government. “I just want to read this one thing because it’s July,” Pelosi said, pulling out her mobile phone. “We came back from the Fourth of July celebration and I saw this article.” “Now, our founders, they sacrificed their lives, their liberty, their sacred honor
The very fake news scandal engulfing CNN just erupted again on Wednesday afternoon as CNN’s Chris Cillizza published demonstrably fake news. What’s more, Cillizza’s significant mistake ropes two more CNN anchors—Kate Bolduan and Brooke Baldwin—into the very fake news scandal touching nearly every single person at CNN. The fake news from Cillizza specifically was meant to rebut President Donald Trump’s attacks on the fake media after the nothing story about a supposed extra, previously unreported “meeting” with Russian president Vladimir Putin at the recent G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany. Many media outlets went haywire on Tuesday when the extra “meeting”
Host of Fox News’ “Specialists” Eric Bolling commented Wednesday during his “Wake Up America” segment that Chicago is a “warzone” because of liberal Democrats – he’s not wrong. (Photo) Bolling opens the segment with his signature intro before jumping right into the topic, “It’s time to wake up America! My hometown of Chicago, folks, this breaks my heart to say, but Chicago is literally a war zone. Here are the facts . . .” The facts are: Afghanistan’s population of 32.5 million was hit with 5.9 violent deaths per every 100,000 people. Chicago, with 2.72 million citizens, saw 13.5 violent
Controversial Kremlin-connected energy firm Joule Unlimited, which received millions from a Vladimir Putin-connected Russian government fund and counted former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta as a executive board member, has collapsed, according to the firm’s former chief executive. “The investors walked away,” former Joule Unlimited CEO Brian Baynes told The Digest, a biofuel publication. First revealed in research from Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer, Podesta joined the executive board of Joule Unlimited Technologies — a Boston, Massachusetts-based firm that received $35 million from the Russian government while Clinton served as secretary of
The group behind last week´s protest against the National Rifle Association over rhetoric it claimed was a "direct endorsement of violence" wished a convicted cop killer and fugitive a happy birthday on Monday. "Happy birthday to the revolutionary #AssataShakur!" the verified Twitter account for the Women´s March tweeted. "Today´s #SignOfResistance, in Assata´s honor, is by @Meloniousfunk." The tweet included a painting of Assata Shakur, also known as Joanne Chesimard, with the slogan "A woman´s place is in the struggle." The Women´s March praise for Chesimard came less than a week after the group organized a protest of the National Rifle Association
Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska and Sen. John McCain´s vice presidential running mate in the 2008 election, showed her support for the senator on social media Wednesday after he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. "John McCain is one tough fighter - we know he´ll face this diagnosis with courage and strength. Our family continues to lift John and his family up in prayer," Palin posted alongside a photo of herself and McCain on Facebook. (FB copy) A flood of bipartisan support from U.S. lawmakers and government official followed the announcement of McCain´s diagnosis of brain
WASHINGTON, D.C.— President Donald Trump offered his and first lady Melania Trump’s thoughts and prayers to Sen. John McCain and his family after it was revealed the Senator has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Wednesday night, shortly after news of McCain’s medical condition was revealed, the President released the following statement: Senator John McCain has always been a fighter. Melania and I send our thoughts and prayers to Senator McCain, Cindy, and their entire family. Get well soon. McCain underwent a medical procedure last Friday. The procedure involved the area above his left eye. The Mayo Clinic released a statement
Tony Kushner, the playwright who won a Tony and Pulitzer for his 1993 play "Angels in America" is working on a play about President Trump. Kushner told the Daily Beast in an interview that the play will not focus on Trump´s presidency. Rather, it will be set two years before the 2016 election. The play, he said, is still in its early stages of development, adding that "it feels very soon" to start tackling the intricacies of the real estate mogul´s presidential bid. “The nightmare is in high gear. It certainly feels like folly that I or anyone else has
The Army has rejected an appeal from a 13-year public affairs sergeant and is kicking him out in a case tied to the Osama bin Laden raid, President Obama’s speech about it and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information. Staff Sgt. Ricardo Branch told The Washington Times that he must leave the Army by Aug. 1. His crime was mentioning in an internal military email the name of the aviation unit that flew Navy SEALs inside Pakistan airspace to kill the al Qaeda leader. The irony: He was trying to keep that fact out of a proposed
Under current law, total federal spending on major health-care programs will double federal spending on defense in fiscal 2019, according to the latest budget projections published by the Congressional Budget Office. In fiscal 2018, according to the CBO’s estimates published June 29, total federal spending on major health care programs will be approximately $1.194 trillion and federal spending on defense will be approximately $603 billion. That would make health care spending 1.98 times as great as defense spending. But then in fiscal 2019, according to CBO, total federal spending on major health-care programs will rise to approximately $1,292,000,000,000 while defense
WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Mr. Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation that has dogged his presidency, calling the decision “very unfair to the president.” In a remarkable public break with one of his earliest political supporters, Mr. Trump complained that Mr. Sessions’s decision ultimately led to the appointment of a special counsel that should not have happened. “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and
The Minnesota cop who shot and killed an Australian bride-to-be opened fire on her after being startled by a “loud sound” near his patrol car, investigators say. Officer Mohamed Noor, 31, began blasting at 40-year-old Justine Damond, of Minneapolis, just moments after he and his partner, Matthew Harrity, heard the noise in the alley behind her house, according to the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. The agency provided an update Tuesday on their investigation into the Saturday night shooting. Officers Noor and Harrity had been called to Damond’s home after she called 911 to report a possible sexual assault happening
Heading to church one evening in late March, a farmworker and her sister were stopped for speeding in the village of Geneseo, N.Y. They were driving with their five children in the back of the minivan. Two were not in car seats, as required. The police officer, trying to cite the driver for the infractions, discovered she had no driver’s license, so he called Border Patrol to review her Guatemalan passport. Both sisters were undocumented immigrants. They were detained and are facing deportation. Under a Trump administration that has taken an aggressive stance on illegal immigration, the moving car has
President Trump sat down with Russian President Vladimir Putin for a second discussion at the G-20 summit in Germany this month — a talk the White House never disclosed, according to reports. The talk came hours after their two-hour bilateral meeting on July 7, towards the end of a “couples-only social dinner” at the summit, National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton told CNN. Trump and Putin conversed in the room where the dinner was being held. “No staff or Cabinet were at the dinner at all, for any of the countries,” Anton said, adding that translators were present. The White
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has been diagnosed with brain cancer, the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix said Wednesday. The tumor was discovered after the senior Arizona senator underwent a minor procedure last week to remove a blood clot from above his left eye. "Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot," the hospital said in a statement. “The Senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation."
Target Corp. Chief Executive Officer Brian Cornell is sounding alarm bells over the state of Hispanic shoppers in the U.S. -- a key growth demographic for many retailers and consumer brands. “The Hispanic consumer in the U.S. is shopping much less,” Cornell said at the Fortune Brainstorm Tech event Tuesday in Aspen, Colorado. “They are staying home. They are going out less often.” Cornell didn’t mention President Donald Trump by name, but he talked about a shift in behavior this year and mentioned “border towns” -- where retailers for years have depended on shoppers from northern Mexico for higher revenue.
Health Reform: There were lots of celebrations on the left side of the aisle after the Senate GOP bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare died. The good times will be short lived, because one way or another ObamaCare is going away, and it´s not at all clear that Democrats will gain additional leverage over what comes next by waiting for its collapse. It was amusing to hear Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer say, after the Senate bill failed, that Republicans should "work with Democrats on a bill that lowers premiums, provides long-term stability to the markets and improves our health care
Arizona Senator John McCain has been diagnosed with brain cancer. The 80-year-old veteran politician was given the diagnosis last week after he had a blood clot removed. In a statement late Wednesday, doctors reveal that McCain has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive cancer. The statement says the 80-year-old senator and his family are reviewing further treatment, including a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. The senator has been recovering at his Arizona home after doctors at the Mayo Clinic removed a blood clot above his left eye. The former presidential candidate, who has represented Arizona since 1987, went for his annual checkup, complaining of fatigue
The U.S. special counsel investigating possible ties between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia in last year’s election is examining a broad range of transactions involving Trump’s businesses as well as those of his associates, according to a person familiar with the probe. The president told the New York Times on Wednesday that any digging into matters beyond Russia would be out of bounds. Trump’s businesses have involved Russians for years, making the boundaries fuzzy so Special Counsel Robert Mueller appears to be taking a wide-angle approach to his two-month-old probe. FBI investigators and others are looking at Russian purchases of apartments
The Somali-born Minnesota police officer alleged to have shot and killed an unarmed Australian woman on Saturday had been lauded by Minneapolis’ mayor and feted by the local community when he joined the force in 2015. “I want to take a moment to recognize Officer Mohamed Noor, the newest Somali officer in the Minneapolis Police Department,” Mayor Betsy Hodges wrote in a Facebook post when Noor began serving the city. “Officer Noor has been assigned to the 5th Precinct, where his arrival has been highly celebrated, particularly by the Somali community in and around Karmel Mall.” In fact, The Washington
Donald Trump Jr. is reportedly "miserable" and can´t wait for the next four years to end. A friend of President Trump´s sons told People that Trump Jr. and Eric Trump "never wanted this." “Don can’t do any deals, because he’ll be overly scrutinized. He just goes to work every day and is miserable," a source in their circle added. Trump Jr. is facing backlash after news surfaced earlier this month that he took a meeting last year with a Russian lawyer. Last week, Trump Jr. released a chain of emails detailing his conversations about setting up the meeting with the Russian
Dunkirk is a great movie but there aren’t enough “women” or “people of color” in it, according to a review in USA Today. The movie – with a cast including Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, and former One Direction singer Harry Styles – has been given a slew of five-star reviews for its vivid, nail-biting depiction of the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk in 1940. But though USA Today’s reviewer praised it too, he couldn’t resist giving it a little rap on the knuckles about its shameful lack of diversity and equality: The trio of timelines can be
