FBI warned Rohrabacher that
Russia was targeting him

Yahoo News, by Caitlin Dickson

In 2012, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher received a warning from the FBI that Russian spies were attempting to recruit him as an “agent of influence,” the New York Times reported Friday. Although the California Republican has long been among the Kremlin’s most outspoken defenders on Capitol Hill, officials told the Times that Rohrabacher was not believed to have been paid by Russia, nor is he considered to be actively working with Moscow’s intelligence officials. Rather, he was unwittingly being targeted as someone who could guide U.S. policy in Russia’s favor. In an interview with the Times, Rohrabacher confirmed the 2012 meeting

Comments:
EGADS. What is WRONG with Kevin McCarthy??? Rohrabacher is a favorite of mine because of a pet issue. But regardless of that, I think he is one of the best. Not to mention he named the President as well!

The point here is the Establishment, led by NY Times and WaPo, will convert every speck of dust into incitement against Putin. Forget Islamic terrorism all over our own soil. The War Machine goes broke unless US taxpayers are forced to pay them. They thought Hillary would easily bomb Russia. NY Times and WaPo have been inciting war with Russia for years. That´s what the Trump-Russia thing is about, to force Trump to stop saying Russia could help us fight Islamic terrorism. Nuclear war doesn´t have winners, but winning isn´t the point--the US hasn´t won a war since WWII. Rather it´s a bloody money laundering operation to transfer US taxpayer dollars to Beltway war parasites. NY Times Tom Friedman is desperate for it. A WaPo op-ed in Oct. 2016 urged Americans to ´summon the will´ to go to war with Russia and remove Putin. It was authored by US war profiteer Carl Gershman. These people won´t stop until they remove Putin.

Observe, first of all, that President Donald Trump took the battle to the enemy. By contrast, and in order to not let bygones be bygones, President Barack Obama let the enemy define the battle. The 44th president, a Democrat, took the terror out of Islam; for this, he won a Nobel Peace Prize, as the world stayed at war and came closer, during his watch, to the all-out war of civilizations that Samuel Huntington so profoundly explained would take place absent the combination of resolve and prudence that, throughout his career, he counseled. The 45th president, an Independent Republican, defined the enemy

Capping his first day in Israel on his first international trip, President Trump expressed optimism Monday about a “new level of partnership” among the US, the Jewish state and the Arab world. “There are many things that can happen now that could never have happened before,” Trump said during a visit to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home. “We must seize them together. We must take advantage of the situation,” he told the prime minister, who welcomed him warmly and gave him a 150-year-old Bible as a present. Trump said he met many Arab leaders during his stop in Saudi Arabia, where

President Donald Trump´s trip to the Middle East and Israel has been remarkably successful. Trump became the first sitting president to visit the Western Wall, he gave a rousing speech against terrorism in Saudi Arabia, and he took a strong stance for peace with Israel and its neighbors. This has brought praise for Trump from some rather unlikely corners. Here are six figures who praised the president for his Middle East trip. TRENTON — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Monday that former FBI director James Comey is not a “nut job” and also criticized the hiring of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, saying he wouldn’t have let the man set foot in the White House. In a roughly 75-minute, freewheeling press conference in his state’s Capitol building, the Republican governor continued to defend President Donald Trump — but also began to put some daylight between the two men. Christie, who initially ran Trump’s transition team, said he disagreed with comments Trump reportedly made to Russian officials in which he called

There is a campaign, which ironically started in the United States, but which has now spread all over the world, to have PayPal, the internet payment processing company, extend its services to Palestine. No matter what happens, this proposal is fraught with landmines. PayPal offers its services to over 200 countries, in at least 25 currencies. So its scope is pretty much universal, with the exception of a few areas. There ia a rogue´s gallery of countries which are not connected to PayPal, but only a few. Many of those are pretty much totalitarian. The rest are prohibited because of

President Trump’s much-anticipated speech at the Islamic Summit in Riyadh didn’t begin auspiciously. Trump started with: “I want to thank King Salman for his extraordinary words” -- yet among Salman’s “extraordinary words” were the risible claims that “Islam was and will always be the religion of mercy, tolerance, and coexistence,” and that “in its prosperous times, Islam provided the best examples of coexistence and harmony between countries and individuals.” However, Trump’s speech did include some elements of a realistic approach to the jihad threat, ideas that have been glaringly lacking from U.S. foreign policy for nearly sixteen years now. Trump sounded conciliatory

President Trump arrived in Israel this morning on what was apparently the first direct flight ever from Riyadh to the Holy Land. He also became the first U.S. president to visit Israel so early in his term, and the first serving U.S. president ever to visit the Western Wall -- the 2,000-year-old section of a retaining wall of the Second Temple, Judaism’s holiest site. In Riyadh, Trump had given a long, sharp-edged speech that most Israelis saw as a success. Trump called on his audience of Arab and Muslim leaders to root out terrorism entirely, dispensing with the euphemisms used by

Reacting to President Trump‘s big speech in Saudi Arabia today, Bob Schieffer said on CNN that Trump “sounded like a president” today. “He actually sounded presidential. You may agree or disagree with what he said, but he sounded like a president… It was a much different kind of presentation.” He took note of how Trump delivered this “dignified speech” and hasn’t tweeted out anything needlessly provocative recently. Schieffer added, “He didn’t sound like the guy at the end of the bar popping off. He sounded like someone who had actually thought he was going to say before he said it.”

Biden was speaking to the 480 students of Maine liberal arts institution Colby College when he launched the attack on the current administration. He complained that the GOP had spent the election appealing to the ´baser instincts´ and fears of the electorate, stoked ´our darkest emotions,´ and turned Muslims, immigrants and transgender people into scapegoats for a struggling working class.
