Trump Told Russians That
Firing ‘Nut Job’ Comey Eased
Pressure From Investigation

New York Times, by Matt Apuzzo*

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 5/19/2017 3:38:39 PM

WASHINGTON — President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting. “I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.” The conversation, during a May 10 meeting — the day after he fired Mr. Comey

Comments:
Here we go again! The person who leaked this alleged information should be fired immediately. The investigation within their own White House should be expedited because it is totally outrageous and appalling. It is chilling and horrifying that he can´t even trust his own inner circle.

"read to The New York Times by an American official"

What the heck does that even mean? It´s like they´re committing mass suicide credibility-wise, and taking their psycho followers with them.

John McCain will surely make a strong statement.

None of this matters anyway because there´s a Special Counselor on the job now, so back to work you slackers! I´m talking to you McVain, Amash and Grahamnesty!

I see no real source in this story other than an unnamed official reading it to the Slimes and another unnamed official verifying it. The paper of record is skating on very thin ice and should try to report the news instead of making it. all this stuff is doing what the Democrats say the Russians are doing, undermining the peoples faith in our electoral system.

Why on earth is this news? James Comey was, at the time of the alleged remark, a private citizen and, a little indiscreet or not, President Trump had every right to say whatever he wanted about him to whomever he wanted.

If all of these silly leaked remarks are indeed true what is the motivation of the leakers? Where does the pettiness, the cowardice, the immaturity come from to do such a thing?

And, by the way, it appears that Mr. Comey is a ´nut job´.

It´s time the American people show these sleazoids who is in charge. We need to intimidate them at every turn, not turn the other cheek and justice ... what´s that?. As for the pansy Republicans in congress, you´re either with us or your with Fake news...your choice. I remember when President George W said that... it was one of his best moments as a president. It showed strength and courage and that´s what people want right now. We need to get loud and demonstrate the offices of all FAKE News. Peacefully of course. Send in the Hell´s Angels, the seals, whatever it takes.
But first there needs to be a leader or leaders to organize this the way we did for the Tea Party. I don´t care where the leadership comes from, but that person has to appear soon.

This is not going away because of Mueller´s involvement. In fact, it may even get worse. North Korea could send off a ballistic missile that hits the west coast and the press won´t bother to report it because they are so fixated on destroying Trump.

In her Wellesley College commencement address Friday, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee took repeated shots at President Trump, the man who beat her in November. "Look at the budget that was just proposed in Washington," Clinton said. "It is an attack of unimaginable cruelty on the most vulnerable among us, the youngest, the oldest, the poorest, and hardworking people who need a little help to gain or hang on to a decent middle-class life… And to top it off, it is shrouded in a trillion-dollar mathematical lie." But Clinton is doing more than just talking about Trump as a once

Hillary Clinton says that she "beat" Donald Trump—and Bernie Sanders—in a lengthy feature article by New York Magazine. "I beat both of them," she said, evidently referencing her popular vote win over Trump. While Clinton did defeat Sanders, who is not a Democrat, in the Democratic primary, she did not defeat Trump, who was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States in January. In the story, Clinton discussed her post-election status as a member of the "Resistance" to Trump, but she also reflected on the 2016 campaign, which included a harder-than-expected fight against Sanders for the nomination. WASHINGTON — Shortly after President Trump took office, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, met privately with his colleagues to discuss the Republican agenda. Repealing the Affordable Care Act was at the top, he said. But replacing it would be really hard. Mr. McConnell was right. The many meetings Republicans held to discuss a Senate health care bill have exposed deep fissures within the party that are almost as large as the differences between Republicans and Democrats. Elements of a bill that passed the House this month have divided Republicans. Mr. McConnell faces an increasingly onerous math problem.

New revelations have surfaced that the Obama administration abused intelligence during the election by launching a massive domestic-spy campaign that included snooping on Trump officials. The irony is mind-boggling: Targeting political opposition is long a technique of police states like Russia, which Team Obama has loudly condemned for allegedly using its own intelligence agencies to hack into our election. The revelations, as well as testimony this week from former Obama intel officials, show the extent to which the Obama administration politicized and weaponized intelligence against Americans. Thanks to Circa News, we now know the National Security Agency under President Barack Obama routinely violated

A free-thinking group of eighth grades refused to pose with House Speaker Paul Ryan during a field trip to Washington DC on Thursday. Half of the students from South Orange Middle School in New Jersey stood on the other side of the street as their classmates had their photo taken with Ryan outside the United States Capitol. When he uploaded the image to Instagram, the ones who had refused to be in it flooded the comments section with insults and complaints. ´Half of us stood across the street including me because we hate you,´ said one. It’s pile-on time for America’s commercial airlines. The contempt people hold for them has long been severe, but following a raft of highly publicized incidents, resentment has hit a fever pitch. It started about a month ago, with the forced removal of a passenger onboard a United Express flight. This was followed by several more airlines-behaving-badly controversies, up to and including the death of Simon, a giant rabbit who perished after a London-to-Chicago United flight. Over and over we are reminded about the hellishness that is commercial flying. Enabled by cellphone cameras and the catalyst of social media, even the most

French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged to a French newspaper that his intense handshake with President Trump ahead of the NATO summit in Brussels "wasn´t innocent," but instead was meant as a show of resolve, The Associated Press reported Sunday. "One must show that you won´t make small concessions, even symbolic ones, but also not over-publicize things, either," he told Le Journal du Dimanche, according to the AP. The handshake between Macron and Trump on Thursday drew attention for its visible intensity, with both pairs of knuckles turning white from pressure.
