Anything goes in the Great
American Snipe Hunt

Washington Times, by Wesley Pruden

Now anything goes. All restraints are loosened, all self-discipline trashed. There’s no cure or even treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome, a disease as wild and as swiftly lethal as anything imported from the Ebola River valley of the dark continent. The rules and taboos that once guided even the sleaziest excuse for a newspaper no longer apply. Destroying Donald Trump is all that matters in the newsrooms of the mainstream media, so called, and by any means necessary. Rarely have so many hysterics contributed so much of the national conversation. A columnist in The New York Times, ground zero in the epidemic

The Democrats are no longer in power.
The Enemedia is no longer in power.

So why should anyone be paying them a smidgen of attention? Let them rant on like the deranged, ill-intended dupes they are, but please do not grant them any power the voters so decisively took away from them in November.

As annoying as learning of the scandal du jour may be, it is delightful to watch the Democrat political leaders and the Democrats who control our media make the same mistake that Hillary Clinton did in her failed 2016 presidential campaign. Whatever policies she did promote were re-hashed Obama fare (which many Americans had rejected in Congressional elections since Obama first took office) but she focused her energies on attacking Trump almost, 100% of the time. By adopting this brilliant political strategy and when combined with endless protests by liberals in ridiculous hats or violence by masked outright liberal nutcases, Democrat Party approval has declined by 7% (according to a recent Gallup poll). The Democrats just polled on the impeachment question and the results were obviously disappointing, as the Dems are backing off from that. As for the arguably mentally unhinged media, the people already distrusted and despised them and now, distrust and despise them even more.

Political Insiders was one of the BEST programs on t.v. and we truly mourn its loss!!!!!!!!! As to Harpf and that ditz on "Specialists", the blonde with (my husband swears) plain glass in her oversized glasses and Joe Namath as guest, God help us. Harris Faulkner (!!!!) is on "Outnumbered" and she and the rest of the panel are genuinely good, and Tucker Carlson, Hannnity, Hemmer, Martha McCallum etc. are true gifts. But the Murdoch "kids" are running the place into the ground, e.g. the exit of O´Reilly, no matter what his faults. This "diversity" with idiots (The Five) filling the spots will kill Fox! People will NOT stay around with this trend, and will not hit CNN or the other idiots but will go back to radio!

Today we finally see a person in the breaking news banner who genuinely deserves to be there, the despicable Mr. Weiner.

Barack Obama in his first year committed actual crimes against the Constitution, wasted trillions of dollars by stashing cash in every guaranteed-to-fail business started by his greenie friends and bailed out an automobile manufacturer that truly deserved to die. Trump has done nothing but good and every day another leftist dope wants to impeach or hang him. The democrats are going to pay a huge price for this and the media will not survive their current campaign of slander and fictional news.

I´ve never understood the concept of the "snipe hunt". I´ve mostly heard it in stories relating to boy scouts, how they send them out on a snipe hunt. The joke is supposed to be that there´s no such thing as a snipe.

Except there is. That´s why I´ve never understood it. (it´s a bird)

Snipe are difficult to see because of their color pattern and are difficult to shoot (if you wanted to) because they fly erratically when spooked. So when called to go on a snipe hunt your task is to find a very difficult bird to hunt and even more so at night.

What the left is doing isn´t a snipe hunt. A snipe hunt is a prank, a joke. What the left is doing is no joke. They are trying to nullify an election by turning the electorate against Trump. They would very much like to impeach Trump. There is nothing funny about this. The left wants to ignore election results and continue to rule (rather than govern) like they did while under Obama.

The media and democrats (same) are full of political hypochondriacs. They can´t help but to see problems with everything President Trump does.

I suspect that a good dose of drubbing in the 2018 elections may help some with their symptoms.

Obamas under fire from the left for never

The Democratic base is growing increasingly frustrated with former President Barack Obama’s actions after leaving office, including a seemingly endless tour of millionaire and billionaire luxury retreats, according to Democrats and activists contacted by Fox News. Ex-presidents, understandably and un-controversially, go on vacations immediately after leaving office. But the level of luxury the Obamas enjoy on their vacations is unprecedented for a modern-day president, say travel experts. Since leaving office in late January, Obama has visited late actor Marlon Brando’s private island; the Four Seasons in Bali -- where rooms cost upward of $2,000 per night; a Palm Springs estate; Sir

The media has hyperobsessed over the Kansas tax hike this year and sold it as a repudiation of supply-side economics. But the real story in the states has been the catastrophic effects of tax-and-spend fiscal policy in Illinois. Last week, Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan endorsed a $5 billion annual income tax hike. This would be the largest tax increase of any state in years. Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner has blocked new taxes for three years but is now under intense pressure from the Springfield political machine to agree to the revenue heist. Samuel Johnson once said, “When a man knows he is to be hanged ... it concentrates his mind wonderfully.” For opponents of the Trump immigration order, minds became distinctly more concentrated around 11am this morning, when the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated much of Trump’s order in a reversal of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. While the court will hear the merits in October and could still rule against the administration, these preliminary decisions often reflect a view of underlying merits. Every once in a while, as often as a blue moon or a politician forgoing the use of the word “frankly,” I utter a soft “Right on” in response to something President Trump has done or tweeted. This occurred recently when he took Barack Obama to task for his weak — and tardy — response to Russia’s meddling in the U.S. election. For a moment there, Trump forgot that Vladimir Putin can do no wrong. But for that rare moment, the president was absolutely right. The Obama administration’s response to Russian meddling was ineffective and oddly torpid. It was also secretive.

In her much-read New York Times column “Donald Skunks the Democrats,” Maureen Dowd skates quite close to the truth before swerving off into mendacious Timesland fantasy. Writing in the aftermath of Jon Ossoff’s embarrassing defeat by Karen Handel in Georgia, Dowd begins by acknowledging the obvious: You know who is really sick and tired of Donald Trump winning, to the point where they beg, “Please, Mr. President, sir, it’s too much”? Democrats. Yep. The Democrats, as Dowd, says, “just got skunked four to nothing in races they excitedly thought they could win because everyone they hang with hates Trump.”

You can hear a profession of this faith every time a mainstream Democrat disappoints at the ballot box: "If only socialist Bernie Sanders had been the nominee in 2016, he would have beaten Donald Trump." The move to paperless voting started in response to the Florida “hanging chad” fiasco in the 2000 presidential election. Justices said the lower court rulings that blocked Mr. Trump’s policy were far too broad, and said the president can begin to enforce his ban against foreigners who don’t already have some ties to the U.S. That means the president can begin denying visas to visitors from six countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — who don’t already have family in the U.S., or some other prior connection such as
