Anything goes in the Great
American Snipe Hunt

Now anything goes. All restraints are loosened, all self-discipline trashed. There’s no cure or even treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome, a disease as wild and as swiftly lethal as anything imported from the Ebola River valley of the dark continent. The rules and taboos that once guided even the sleaziest excuse for a newspaper no longer apply. Destroying Donald Trump is all that matters in the newsrooms of the mainstream media, so called, and by any means necessary. Rarely have so many hysterics contributed so much of the national conversation. A columnist in The New York Times, ground zero in the epidemic

The Democrats are no longer in power.
The Enemedia is no longer in power.

So why should anyone be paying them a smidgen of attention? Let them rant on like the deranged, ill-intended dupes they are, but please do not grant them any power the voters so decisively took away from them in November.

As annoying as learning of the scandal du jour may be, it is delightful to watch the Democrat political leaders and the Democrats who control our media make the same mistake that Hillary Clinton did in her failed 2016 presidential campaign. Whatever policies she did promote were re-hashed Obama fare (which many Americans had rejected in Congressional elections since Obama first took office) but she focused her energies on attacking Trump almost, 100% of the time. By adopting this brilliant political strategy and when combined with endless protests by liberals in ridiculous hats or violence by masked outright liberal nutcases, Democrat Party approval has declined by 7% (according to a recent Gallup poll). The Democrats just polled on the impeachment question and the results were obviously disappointing, as the Dems are backing off from that. As for the arguably mentally unhinged media, the people already distrusted and despised them and now, distrust and despise them even more.

Political Insiders was one of the BEST programs on t.v. and we truly mourn its loss!!!!!!!!! As to Harpf and that ditz on "Specialists", the blonde with (my husband swears) plain glass in her oversized glasses and Joe Namath as guest, God help us. Harris Faulkner (!!!!) is on "Outnumbered" and she and the rest of the panel are genuinely good, and Tucker Carlson, Hannnity, Hemmer, Martha McCallum etc. are true gifts. But the Murdoch "kids" are running the place into the ground, e.g. the exit of O´Reilly, no matter what his faults. This "diversity" with idiots (The Five) filling the spots will kill Fox! People will NOT stay around with this trend, and will not hit CNN or the other idiots but will go back to radio!

Today we finally see a person in the breaking news banner who genuinely deserves to be there, the despicable Mr. Weiner.

Barack Obama in his first year committed actual crimes against the Constitution, wasted trillions of dollars by stashing cash in every guaranteed-to-fail business started by his greenie friends and bailed out an automobile manufacturer that truly deserved to die. Trump has done nothing but good and every day another leftist dope wants to impeach or hang him. The democrats are going to pay a huge price for this and the media will not survive their current campaign of slander and fictional news.

I´ve never understood the concept of the "snipe hunt". I´ve mostly heard it in stories relating to boy scouts, how they send them out on a snipe hunt. The joke is supposed to be that there´s no such thing as a snipe.

Except there is. That´s why I´ve never understood it. (it´s a bird)

Snipe are difficult to see because of their color pattern and are difficult to shoot (if you wanted to) because they fly erratically when spooked. So when called to go on a snipe hunt your task is to find a very difficult bird to hunt and even more so at night.

What the left is doing isn´t a snipe hunt. A snipe hunt is a prank, a joke. What the left is doing is no joke. They are trying to nullify an election by turning the electorate against Trump. They would very much like to impeach Trump. There is nothing funny about this. The left wants to ignore election results and continue to rule (rather than govern) like they did while under Obama.

The media and democrats (same) are full of political hypochondriacs. They can´t help but to see problems with everything President Trump does.

I suspect that a good dose of drubbing in the 2018 elections may help some with their symptoms.

Unless you work in it, it is impossible to know exactly what goes on inside any administration. The thought processes behind actions and statements are calculated and self-serving, no doubt. It’s usually not that difficult to rationalize why people acted as they did – or it was before the Trump White House. But now, more often than not, from minor to major actions, it’s often impossible to see any rationale for what is going on. I know I’m going to catch hell from some people for this, but I have to ask some questions. Most pressing is this: Is there anyone involved

The antifa threat: Poisoning the Trump opposition

The disgusting resurgence of white supremacists in 2017 America, aided and abetted by a White House engaging in toxic moral equivalence, has gotten an assist from a tiny left-wing cadre. This loosely organized band calls itself antifa (“anti-fascist”), and — unlike the broad coalition of activists arrayed in opposition to much of the Trump agenda — its members unapologetically embrace violence as the only sufficiently strong answer to those they see as enemies, even when those enemies are engaging in nonviolent protest. Down this road, madness lies. In a civil society — fingers crossed, that’s what this still is — unprovoked violence is

When a news organization reports an impending weather event based on forecasts from the National Weather Service, or warns of potential seismic activity anticipated by the U.S. Geological Survey, or alerts the public concerning an infectious-disease outbreak being tracked by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, no one questions the news organization’s motives, because the underlying information is factual and derived from a reliable, nonpartisan, and authoritative source. Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say. What started out 16 months ago as a scandal involving the alleged theft of computer equipment from Congress has turned into a national-security investigation involving FBI surveillance of the suspects. Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk.

Democrats have responded to the tragic events in Charlottesville by obsessively picking apart President Trump’s multiple statements about those events, while steadfastly refusing to admit that the far-left antifas had anything to do with the violence they precipitated, and by demanding the removal of Confederate monuments. A casual consumer of the news might assume that Charlottesville has been a political triumph for Democrats, and a disaster for Trump and the GOP. But the Associated Press now realizes, with evident dismay, that the Democrats may have miscalculated: “Dems risk culture war fight in Charlottesville response.” Democrats have denounced Trump for blaming “both

The departure of Steve Bannon from the White House won’t have a big impact on the day-to-day operations of the West Wing. An economic nationalist who served as Donald Trump’s political id (as well as his chief strategist), Bannon was effectively sidelined back in April, after he was removed from the National Security Council and was accused of insulting Donald Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Bannon’s planned in-house think tank, the Strategic Initiatives Group, never quite got off the ground. His policy portfolio was slim, down to two areas: trade and foreign policy—specifically the war in Afghanistan. Much of

Steve Bannon’s White House departure Friday was largely predictable — but not so its impact on Donald Trump’s presidency. At the least, it may help stem some of the White House infighting that has frequently undercut the president’s agenda. Bannon’s removal became all but certain when he gave an interview to The American Prospect mocking Trump’s “fire and fury” threat against North Korea. Such insubordination clearly made his continued presence as chief strategist untenable. Nor did it help that he also bad-mouthed other Trump aides, picked fights and ridiculed those he opposed. Or that he was seen as the mastermind

Americans were shocked by the naked political violence we saw this weekend in Charlottesville, Va. Commenters on the left and the right immediately blamed the usual suspects. The right blamed identity politics. The left blamed entrenched racism. But an obvious cause of injury and death is once again being overlooked: the fact that the violence was allowed to get underway at all. State, local, and even college campus leadership appear to be telling police to stand by while some degree of unlawful violence takes place right before their eyes. Yet when that violence predictably spirals out of control, the authorities profess
