Anything goes in the Great
American Snipe Hunt

Washington Times, by Wesley Pruden

Now anything goes. All restraints are loosened, all self-discipline trashed. There’s no cure or even treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome, a disease as wild and as swiftly lethal as anything imported from the Ebola River valley of the dark continent. The rules and taboos that once guided even the sleaziest excuse for a newspaper no longer apply. Destroying Donald Trump is all that matters in the newsrooms of the mainstream media, so called, and by any means necessary. Rarely have so many hysterics contributed so much of the national conversation. A columnist in The New York Times, ground zero in the epidemic

The Democrats are no longer in power.
The Enemedia is no longer in power.

So why should anyone be paying them a smidgen of attention? Let them rant on like the deranged, ill-intended dupes they are, but please do not grant them any power the voters so decisively took away from them in November.

As annoying as learning of the scandal du jour may be, it is delightful to watch the Democrat political leaders and the Democrats who control our media make the same mistake that Hillary Clinton did in her failed 2016 presidential campaign. Whatever policies she did promote were re-hashed Obama fare (which many Americans had rejected in Congressional elections since Obama first took office) but she focused her energies on attacking Trump almost, 100% of the time. By adopting this brilliant political strategy and when combined with endless protests by liberals in ridiculous hats or violence by masked outright liberal nutcases, Democrat Party approval has declined by 7% (according to a recent Gallup poll). The Democrats just polled on the impeachment question and the results were obviously disappointing, as the Dems are backing off from that. As for the arguably mentally unhinged media, the people already distrusted and despised them and now, distrust and despise them even more.

Political Insiders was one of the BEST programs on t.v. and we truly mourn its loss!!!!!!!!! As to Harpf and that ditz on "Specialists", the blonde with (my husband swears) plain glass in her oversized glasses and Joe Namath as guest, God help us. Harris Faulkner (!!!!) is on "Outnumbered" and she and the rest of the panel are genuinely good, and Tucker Carlson, Hannnity, Hemmer, Martha McCallum etc. are true gifts. But the Murdoch "kids" are running the place into the ground, e.g. the exit of O´Reilly, no matter what his faults. This "diversity" with idiots (The Five) filling the spots will kill Fox! People will NOT stay around with this trend, and will not hit CNN or the other idiots but will go back to radio!

Today we finally see a person in the breaking news banner who genuinely deserves to be there, the despicable Mr. Weiner.

Barack Obama in his first year committed actual crimes against the Constitution, wasted trillions of dollars by stashing cash in every guaranteed-to-fail business started by his greenie friends and bailed out an automobile manufacturer that truly deserved to die. Trump has done nothing but good and every day another leftist dope wants to impeach or hang him. The democrats are going to pay a huge price for this and the media will not survive their current campaign of slander and fictional news.

I´ve never understood the concept of the "snipe hunt". I´ve mostly heard it in stories relating to boy scouts, how they send them out on a snipe hunt. The joke is supposed to be that there´s no such thing as a snipe.

Except there is. That´s why I´ve never understood it. (it´s a bird)

Snipe are difficult to see because of their color pattern and are difficult to shoot (if you wanted to) because they fly erratically when spooked. So when called to go on a snipe hunt your task is to find a very difficult bird to hunt and even more so at night.

What the left is doing isn´t a snipe hunt. A snipe hunt is a prank, a joke. What the left is doing is no joke. They are trying to nullify an election by turning the electorate against Trump. They would very much like to impeach Trump. There is nothing funny about this. The left wants to ignore election results and continue to rule (rather than govern) like they did while under Obama.

The media and democrats (same) are full of political hypochondriacs. They can´t help but to see problems with everything President Trump does.

I suspect that a good dose of drubbing in the 2018 elections may help some with their symptoms.

Shunned by his Hollywood friends and activist pals, an increasingly isolated and paranoid Bill Cosby lives in constant fear of someone slipping something into his food or drink. During pre-trial hearings and jury selection in Pittsburgh, ahead of the June 5 start of his sexual assault trial in Philadelphia, the 79-year-old comedian refused to stay in local hotels because of perceived threats. Instead he woke up at 2:30 every morning to fly his private jet to the courthouse from his suburban Philly home. “He and his wife are afraid that if he stayed at a hotel, someone will find a way to

The government in exile — the real one, according to the media — has had a busy week at home and abroad. “President Obama” has given up leading from behind and presumes now to lead from overseas. His secretary of state has a new mission, as missionary to the safe places where snowflakes fall. Mr. Obama joined German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin to lecture America and the West to quit being so beastly to the strivers of the Third World, and open wider the borders of the West. “We can’t isolate ourselves,” the former president said from a platform at

The hunt for the terror network behind the Manchester attack is now focusing on Libya, where bomber Salman Abedi’s father and brother were arrested Thursday and from which Abedi himself had only recently returned. That’s hardly surprising: South Manchester is home to one of the world’s largest Libyan expatriate communities, which in recent years has become a prime recruiting ground for young jihadists. And Libya itself is the base for an ISIS external-operations wing tasked with plotting terrorist attacks in Europe. Indeed, since the fall of Moammar Khadafy, Libya has become a haven for Islamist terrorist groups. Such is the

I admit to being slack-jawed over the New York Times report that President Trump smeared former FBI director James Comey in a conversation with representatives of Russia’s murderous, anti-American regime. The account, based on notes taken at the meeting and leaked to the Times, has implicitly been confirmed in a near-equally repugnant statement by the White House press secretary. Inexplicably, Trump chose to host Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and ambassador Sergey Kislyak the day after he fired Comey in a maze of conflicting explanations (when none, by the way, was required). Naturally, this further fueled the Trump-Russia conspiracy narrative.

At around 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, President Donald Trump landed in Saudi Arabia on his first foreign trip—a five-stop progress through the Middle East, Italy and Belgium. The aircraft touched down at about 10 a.m. local time. Emerging from Air Force One, Trump and First Lady Melania descended the stairs to a wide red carpet. Saudi Arabian King Salman, 81, greeted Trump at the base of the stairs, extending his hand toward the U.S. president. Some pundits questioned whether Salman would shake Trump´s hand or even brave the sweltering heat to walk out onto the runway, citing his older age.

It’s coming from inside the house. Throughout Trump’s presidency and increasingly in the past few weeks, leaks from staff members to the press are undermining the president. The New York Times reported Friday exact details of Trump’s meeting last week with Russian officials. The report cited a document read to them by an “American official,” which summarized the meeting. “I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Trump said, according to the report. The president then added, “I faced great pressure because of Russia. Narrative one is that Donald Trump and/or one or several of his entourage colluded in some manner with the Russians over election 2016. Narrative two is that Democrats and much of the media have not accepted the results of the election and are smearing Trump to drive him from office or seriously wound him to the degree that he will accomplish nothing. Hillary Clinton says that she "beat" Donald Trump—and Bernie Sanders—in a lengthy feature article by New York Magazine. "I beat both of them," she said, evidently referencing her popular vote win over Trump. While Clinton did defeat Sanders, who is not a Democrat, in the Democratic primary, she did not defeat Trump, who was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States in January. In the story, Clinton discussed her post-election status as a member of the "Resistance" to Trump, but she also reflected on the 2016 campaign, which included a harder-than-expected fight against Sanders for the nomination. WASHINGTON — Shortly after President Trump took office, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, met privately with his colleagues to discuss the Republican agenda. Repealing the Affordable Care Act was at the top, he said. But replacing it would be really hard. Mr. McConnell was right. Elements of a bill that passed the House this month have divided Republicans. Mr. McConnell faces an increasingly onerous math problem.
