Anything goes in the Great
American Snipe Hunt

Washington Times, by Wesley Pruden

Now anything goes. All restraints are loosened, all self-discipline trashed. There’s no cure or even treatment for Trump Derangement Syndrome, a disease as wild and as swiftly lethal as anything imported from the Ebola River valley of the dark continent. The rules and taboos that once guided even the sleaziest excuse for a newspaper no longer apply. Destroying Donald Trump is all that matters in the newsrooms of the mainstream media, so called, and by any means necessary. Rarely have so many hysterics contributed so much of the national conversation. A columnist in The New York Times, ground zero in the epidemic

The Democrats are no longer in power.
The Enemedia is no longer in power.

So why should anyone be paying them a smidgen of attention? Let them rant on like the deranged, ill-intended dupes they are, but please do not grant them any power the voters so decisively took away from them in November.

As annoying as learning of the scandal du jour may be, it is delightful to watch the Democrat political leaders and the Democrats who control our media make the same mistake that Hillary Clinton did in her failed 2016 presidential campaign. Whatever policies she did promote were re-hashed Obama fare (which many Americans had rejected in Congressional elections since Obama first took office) but she focused her energies on attacking Trump almost, 100% of the time. By adopting this brilliant political strategy and when combined with endless protests by liberals in ridiculous hats or violence by masked outright liberal nutcases, Democrat Party approval has declined by 7% (according to a recent Gallup poll). The Democrats just polled on the impeachment question and the results were obviously disappointing, as the Dems are backing off from that. As for the arguably mentally unhinged media, the people already distrusted and despised them and now, distrust and despise them even more.

Political Insiders was one of the BEST programs on t.v. and we truly mourn its loss!!!!!!!!! As to Harpf and that ditz on "Specialists", the blonde with (my husband swears) plain glass in her oversized glasses and Joe Namath as guest, God help us. Harris Faulkner (!!!!) is on "Outnumbered" and she and the rest of the panel are genuinely good, and Tucker Carlson, Hannnity, Hemmer, Martha McCallum etc. are true gifts. But the Murdoch "kids" are running the place into the ground, e.g. the exit of O´Reilly, no matter what his faults. This "diversity" with idiots (The Five) filling the spots will kill Fox! People will NOT stay around with this trend, and will not hit CNN or the other idiots but will go back to radio!

Today we finally see a person in the breaking news banner who genuinely deserves to be there, the despicable Mr. Weiner.

Barack Obama in his first year committed actual crimes against the Constitution, wasted trillions of dollars by stashing cash in every guaranteed-to-fail business started by his greenie friends and bailed out an automobile manufacturer that truly deserved to die. Trump has done nothing but good and every day another leftist dope wants to impeach or hang him. The democrats are going to pay a huge price for this and the media will not survive their current campaign of slander and fictional news.

I´ve never understood the concept of the "snipe hunt". I´ve mostly heard it in stories relating to boy scouts, how they send them out on a snipe hunt. The joke is supposed to be that there´s no such thing as a snipe.

Except there is. That´s why I´ve never understood it. (it´s a bird)

Snipe are difficult to see because of their color pattern and are difficult to shoot (if you wanted to) because they fly erratically when spooked. So when called to go on a snipe hunt your task is to find a very difficult bird to hunt and even more so at night.

What the left is doing isn´t a snipe hunt. A snipe hunt is a prank, a joke. What the left is doing is no joke. They are trying to nullify an election by turning the electorate against Trump. They would very much like to impeach Trump. There is nothing funny about this. The left wants to ignore election results and continue to rule (rather than govern) like they did while under Obama.

The media and democrats (same) are full of political hypochondriacs. They can´t help but to see problems with everything President Trump does.

I suspect that a good dose of drubbing in the 2018 elections may help some with their symptoms.

Just past the Wildwood boardwalk — with its deep-fried Oreos and chocolate-covered bacon, t-shirts deifying The Donald and putting Disney princesses in mugshots, amusement rides and redemption games — is the beach and then the Atlantic Ocean, the literal end of the road. We’re half a block away, sharing with another family a four-bedroom house that would be a mansion in the city. I’m not complaining, but it’s running about as much to rent at the end of the summer as our home south of Prospect Park, by no means a mansion, would go for any time. My wife asked our waitress

North Korea has threatened to launch an electromagnetic pulse attack that could shut down the United States’ power grid — causing months of blackouts that could bring society to a halt, with rampant crime and social chaos. Experts say the threat posed by an EMP — the side effect of an atmospheric nuclear detonation — is significant, and New England is particularly vulnerable. The rogue communist state announced yesterday it detonated what it described as a hydrogen bomb in an underground site, its sixth and by far most powerful nuclear test to date. It also released photos of dictator Kim

The Santa Ana River in Orange County, California doesn’t look like most people’s idea of a river. It looks more like the concrete spillways you see in movies shot in Los Angeles, at least most of the time. Along the Santa Ana River is a bike path that allows people to ride all the way from Prado Dam past Angels Stadium in Anaheim to the ocean. Next to that path is a dirt shoulder that has increasingly become home to hundreds of homeless people living in makeshift tents. Some OC residents are afraid to jog or ride the trail and

Labor Day was once the nation’s most blatantly political national holiday — created by the trade-union movement to celebrate the right of working people to bargain collectively and to stage strikes to press their demands. The Post was an early and vigorous supporter of the movement. As early as 1836, editor William Cullen Bryant wrote: “Strike the right of associating for the sale of labor from the privileges of a freeman, and you may as well at once bind him to a master.” Even before Congress created the federal holiday in 1894, New York hosted the nation’s first Labor Day parade when

A ruling coming out of a federal court in Denver this week could lead to a significant change in how the country deals with convicted sex offenders. Judge Richard Matsch heard a case involving three convicted sex offenders who were protesting having all of their personal information published on a public sex offender registry. Rather than ruling on whether or not the three could have their details removed (which was all that was requested), Matsch ruled that the entire registry was unconstitutional. This one is going to be appealed and if it makes it to the Supreme Court it could

Times reporters Michael Schmidt and Maggie Haberman inform us that “the circumstances and reasons for the firing are believed to be a significant element of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, which includes whether Mr. Trump obstructed justice by firing Mr. Comey.” The Times would love it if Mueller’s dream team of anti-Trump lawyers were to present an obstruction of justice claim against President Trump. However, the Times’ story undercuts such a claim — inadvertently, I assume. Before explaining

An Obama-era initiative known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), allows unauthorized immigrants who were brought to the country as children and have clean legal records to get work permits and avoid deportation. Mr Trump has sent mixed signals on his intention for Daca but a threat by Republican attorneys general to sue if Mr Trump does not suspend the program is forcing a decision.
