Lindsey Graham: Russia probe
‘now a criminal investigation’

New York Post, by Mark Moore and Marisa Schultz

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on Thursday said it’s clear that after Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein briefed the Senate on the investigation into Russian involvement in the presidential election that it has become a criminal probe. “The shock to the body is that this is now a criminal investigation,” Graham (R-SC) told reporters moments after he exited the Senate chamber. He said now that it has become a criminal investigation instead of an counterintelligence probe Congress may be impeded in carrying out its own examinations. “You’ve got a special counsel who has prosecutorial powers now, and I think we in Congress

Comments:
Republican stalwart Miss Graham loves a live mic and a good probe, especially if it serves the interests of the Democrat Party.

Following his quote at the bottom, he may have jusy done something smart, actually. If Congress stops "investigating", it gets them off the front page, and let´s them move on. This might be clever.

FOX online livestream all day. Lindsay Graham mentioned the word "criminal" but even if he had not, the talking heads and anchors are excitedly framing it so.

The Democrat Senators are full of boloney as no FBI nvestgations were stopped by President Trump so there was no obstruction of justice.

There is no telling where the Special Counsel investigation will lead, the Democrats may be very sorry that they harped on appointing a Specal Counsel, especially during the run up to the 2018 elections.

Once again Little Ms. Lindsey shows her ignorance. Or just plain meanspiritedness?

This “investigator” has the power to charge individuals with crimes should any turn up.

Normally investigators - the FBI for example - do not have the power to file charges. They must turn their findings over to a prosecutor.

She said, that because there were no new facts revealed by Rosenstein, it was ´probably´ a criminal investigation. Rosenstein did not say it was a criminal investigation!

How about because there were no new facts there is nothing here!

A machete-wielding man has killed one and injured several others after going on the rampage through a German supermarket this afternoon. The attacker, who reportedly screamed Allahu Akbar, ran into an Edeka shop in the northern city of Hamburg and knifed a customer to death before slashing at four others as he fled. He ran off but was pursued by passers-by who wrestled him to the ground and called police who made an arrest. Heavily armed officers have locked the area down and police helicopters have been seen above the crime scene. A motive for the knifing has not yet been established.
