The anonymous ‘heroes’ of the Resistance
Washington Times, by Editorial

Anonymous sources may not always be reliable, but they’re always convenient. More than that, anonymous accounts are usually made of putty, soft and easily shaped. Not only that, an anonymous source never claims he was misquoted. He never demands a correction or a retraction. The Washington Post, which deals in anonymous sources for many of its blockbuster disclosures, is particularly skilled at working with anonymous sources, and gets more out of them than almost any other newspaper. Bob Woodward, of Woodward and Bernstein fame, once based a blockbuster on an interview with a man in a deep coma, and at the

The New York Times is already begging former subscribers to come back. The Washington Post will soon exist solely on Soros money and will be run by amateurs who can´t hold a candle to Joseph Goebbels. The great manipulators are failing because they have had to stretch their lies beyond what even the normally gullible find credible. The "resistance" is made up desperate democrats and shocked republicans, neither of which can accept the new future.

Remember Deep Throat was a made up composite - like Obama´s white girlfriend. But it took 30 years for the truth to finally come out.

Look for the MSM to fabricate more scenarios where they present themselves as heroic young journalists fighting to print the truth about dangerous White House power people. But realize that it is really just 3rd hand leaks from disgruntled low level agents and outbursts from drunk secretaries.

Fake news started Day One of Trumps presidency. Remember the media claimed Martin Luther Kings Bust was missing from the Oval Office. And there it sat on the table and was never moved. I would give the media 10 Pinocchio that day.

Deep Throat was in fact a real person, Mark Felt, and he was a top FBI employee. He wasn´t a composite. His identity was made public in 2005 when at age 91 and in poor health, he was persuaded by his daughter to come forward. Washington Post reported on June 1, 2005 that part of Mark Felt´s motivation to become Deep Throat was his hurt at being passed over for the top FBI job by Nixon.

When the Waters Recede, Trash Piles Up

A week after Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas, the storm is finally gone. Residents are now returning home to calm neighborhood streets, once again passable without a kayak. The roads are back to normal, but signs of the devastation caused by the endless rains and subsequent flooding are sitting right alongside them, as the water that once surrounded thousands of Houston homes is replaced by all the trash it created on the inside. There’s a practical reason to move quickly with this cleanup — drying out homes as quickly as possible reduces the risk of mold — and a psychological

Kensington Palace said Monday that Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their third child. The announcement comes as a surprise, as there had been little indication that William´s wife, the former Kate Middleton, was pregnant. As with her other two pregnancies, the duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a form of severe morning sickness, and was forced to cancel her engagements Monday.

But is there something more behind their reaction than groupthink? When President Donald Trump announced his Advisory Commission on Election Integrity the media nearly lost what was left of their minds. Journalists mocked the idea, dismissing it as an exercise in vanity, insisting Trump was pushing what they freely labeled a lie because he’s upset over having lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by 3 million. Texas’s culture may strike some as atavistic macho-cowboy silliness, but, as it turns out, when the water gets high you really want to have some atavistically macho cowboys around, particularly if they are in possession of the flat-bottomed boats favored by the justly celebrated “Cajun Navy.”

Dear Houston residents, if you don’t have water, towels, food, or shelter, the Lilith Fund doesn’t have any of that—but they will provide resources to procure an abortion if that’s what’s on your mind in the wake of a horrific storm. Hurricane Harvey slammed the Houston area, dumping 11 trillion gallons of water, flooding whole sections of the city. First responders and good Samaritans, using their private watercraft, have rescued thousands. Tragically, almost 50 people have been killed by the storm, and that figure is expected to rise. Yet, in the wake of property loss, loss of life, and just

"Make no mistake,” writes New Yorker editor David Remnick, “white supremacists are now at the forefront of American politics.” That platitudinous “make no mistake” put us in mind of Joe Queenan’s observation years ago in these pages. The phrase is “an underhanded way of clinching an argument without having to prove your point,” Queenan wrote. It’s “a variation on the beloved old chestnut ‘Take it from me.’?” Remnick’s remark is, of course, ludicrous—white supremacists have no credibility whatsoever in American political life. Starting next month, the former Democratic presidential nominee embarks on a tour across the United States and Canada to promote “What Happened,” her memoir about running against Donald Trump for president. And the price for access is a throwback to campaign fundraisers. For $2,375.95 (or $3,000 in Canadian dollars), Clinton fans in Toronto can obtain a “VIP platinum ticket” for her Sept. 28 talk. The progressive left and their media comrades have been trying hard in recent weeks to construct a sympathetic narrative for “antifa.” This is no easy task. These self-proclaimed “anti-fascists” (hence the name) have been showing up at rallies across the country since Trump’s inauguration, assaulting police with urine bombs, beating journalists bloody, and setting the occasional car on fire. All this is somehow supposed to protest fascism. Or Inequality. Or capitalism. It really depends on the day. The good news is, to know antifa is to despise it. On June 12, 2016, WikiLeaks announced that it would soon release stolen computer files that pertained to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Two days later, CrowdStrike, a computer security company working for the Democratic National Committee, announced that it had detected Russian malware on the DNC’s computer server. The next day, a self-described Romanian hacker, Guccifer 2.0, claimed he was a WikiLeaks source and had hacked the DNC’s server. He then posted online DNC computer files that contained metadata that indicated Russian involvement in the hack. Much to the embarrassment of Hillary Clinton, the released files showed that the DNC had secretly collaborated

Former President Barack Obama plans to speak out if President Donald Trump declares his intention to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, according to a person close to Obama. Trump is expected to announce on Tuesday that in six months, he will terminate the Obama-era DACA initiative, which grants two-year work permits to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and stayed out of trouble. POLITICO first reported the news. Obama used executive actions to launch the program in June 2012, providing assurances before his re-election that he would protect the so-called "Dreamers." America tried to let Hillary Clinton off the hook. Despite cries of “lock her up” during the campaign, most of the nation had little appetite for prosecuting her after the election, with even Donald Trump willing to give her a free pass. “I don’t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t,” Trump told The New York Times two weeks after his victory. “She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways.” But the Clinton e-mail scandal, like Clinton herself, won’t go away. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said Donald Trump should preserve a program giving legal cover to young undocumented immigrants, potentially creating a rift between the president and Republican leadership. An Obama-era initiative known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), allows unauthorized immigrants who were brought to the country as children and have clean legal records to get work permits and avoid deportation. Mr Trump has sent mixed signals on his intention for Daca but a threat by Republican attorneys general to sue if Mr Trump does not suspend the program is forcing a decision.
