The anonymous ‘heroes’ of the Resistance
Washington Times, by Editorial

Anonymous sources may not always be reliable, but they’re always convenient. More than that, anonymous accounts are usually made of putty, soft and easily shaped. Not only that, an anonymous source never claims he was misquoted. He never demands a correction or a retraction. The Washington Post, which deals in anonymous sources for many of its blockbuster disclosures, is particularly skilled at working with anonymous sources, and gets more out of them than almost any other newspaper. Bob Woodward, of Woodward and Bernstein fame, once based a blockbuster on an interview with a man in a deep coma, and at the

The New York Times is already begging former subscribers to come back. The Washington Post will soon exist solely on Soros money and will be run by amateurs who can´t hold a candle to Joseph Goebbels. The great manipulators are failing because they have had to stretch their lies beyond what even the normally gullible find credible. The "resistance" is made up desperate democrats and shocked republicans, neither of which can accept the new future.

Already dropped all subscriptions to print media. Don´t watch MSM TV. Therefore, I don´t see or hear any of their advertisers. Besides, I don´t need to hear or read things I have no confidence in.

Remember Deep Throat was a made up composite - like Obama´s white girlfriend. But it took 30 years for the truth to finally come out.

Look for the MSM to fabricate more scenarios where they present themselves as heroic young journalists fighting to print the truth about dangerous White House power people. But realize that it is really just 3rd hand leaks from disgruntled low level agents and outbursts from drunk secretaries.

Fake news started Day One of Trumps presidency. Remember the media claimed Martin Luther Kings Bust was missing from the Oval Office. And there it sat on the table and was never moved. I would give the media 10 Pinocchio that day.

Deep Throat was in fact a real person, Mark Felt, and he was a top FBI employee. He wasn´t a composite. His identity was made public in 2005 when at age 91 and in poor health, he was persuaded by his daughter to come forward. Washington Post reported on June 1, 2005 that part of Mark Felt´s motivation to become Deep Throat was his hurt at being passed over for the top FBI job by Nixon.

It’s pile-on time for America’s commercial airlines. The contempt people hold for them has long been severe, but following a raft of highly publicized incidents, resentment has hit a fever pitch. It started about a month ago, with the forced removal of a passenger onboard a United Express flight. This was followed by several more airlines-behaving-badly controversies, up to and including the death of Simon, a giant rabbit who perished after a London-to-Chicago United flight. Over and over we are reminded about the hellishness that is commercial flying. Enabled by cellphone cameras and the catalyst of social media, even the most

Each successive special election has been like watching a kid get socks under the Christmas tree. Democrats get all excited at the prospect of something happening, but it is always dashed by the reality crashing down around them. The special election in Montana was no different, and it has been fun to watch. The media was starting to believe it had gotten the Republican candidate, Greg Gianforte, when he allegedly “body-slammed” a journalist for the UK Guardian. All presses were stopped, every other story swept aside for continuous coverage of the story in the hopes that it would bring about the

He was clear, concise and disciplined. Those were the key ingredients that created a striking success for President Trump in his first foreign trip. If he can bottle that recipe and start each day in the Oval Office with a big gulp of it, his presidency gets a renewed chance to live up to its promises. Trump’s clarity on the global stage was a reminder of why he was elected. Much as he did in the campaign on his best days, he cut through the BS to get to the heart of contentious issues and offer forceful solutions. Under enormous scrutiny, he acted

TAORMINA, Sicily — Leaders of the G7, the world´s most exclusive geopolitical club, issued their 2017 declaration Saturday, with U.S. President Donald Trump refusing to join his counterparts in pledging commitment to the 195-nation Paris accord on climate change. The statement also included language on trade, which appeared to be a compromise between the new U.S. administration´s skepticism about some current trade deals and the more pro-free trade views of other G7 members. On Russia, Trump went along with the group, maintaining a hard line on the conflict in Ukraine. Trump, posting on Twitter, said he would make a decision on whether

In the video released Thursday, Planned Parenthood Michigan Medical Director Dr. Lisa Harris says that pro-abortion activists know abortion is violent and kills babies, but that shouldn’t stop them. “Given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here, ask me why I come to work everyday,” she said in the footage

First of all, now that we know we can have Special Prosecutors without there being any meaningful evidence of a crime, or in fact any evidence at all of a crime besides gossip and endless political campaigning, let’s have a Special Prosecutor for Maxine Waters. We still pray that he will NOT give up, even under continuous assault.” Her plea is obviously heartfelt, and others also invoked prayer in delivering similar messages. Nonetheless, millions of liberals throughout the country are surely still salivating over the prospect of impeaching our scandal-plagued president. Sorry to disappoint you, but it´s almost certainly not going to happen. To remove Trump from office via impeachment, you need a two-thirds majority of the Senate. Even if all 48 Democrats and Democratic-aligned independents voted in lockstep to impeach, you´d still need 19 Republican senators

Hillary Clinton says that she "beat" Donald Trump—and Bernie Sanders—in a lengthy feature article by New York Magazine. "I beat both of them," she said, evidently referencing her popular vote win over Trump. While Clinton did defeat Sanders, who is not a Democrat, in the Democratic primary, she did not defeat Trump, who was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States in January. In the story, Clinton discussed her post-election status as a member of the "Resistance" to Trump, but she also reflected on the 2016 campaign, which included a harder-than-expected fight against Sanders for the nomination. WASHINGTON — Shortly after President Trump took office, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader, met privately with his colleagues to discuss the Republican agenda. Repealing the Affordable Care Act was at the top, he said. But replacing it would be really hard. Mr. McConnell was right. The many meetings Republicans held to discuss a Senate health care bill have exposed deep fissures within the party that are almost as large as the differences between Republicans and Democrats. Elements of a bill that passed the House this month have divided Republicans. Mr. McConnell faces an increasingly onerous math problem.

New revelations have surfaced that the Obama administration abused intelligence during the election by launching a massive domestic-spy campaign that included snooping on Trump officials. The irony is mind-boggling: Targeting political opposition is long a technique of police states like Russia, which Team Obama has loudly condemned for allegedly using its own intelligence agencies to hack into our election. The revelations, as well as testimony this week from former Obama intel officials, show the extent to which the Obama administration politicized and weaponized intelligence against Americans.
