The Anonymous Sources Of Washington

Frontpage Magazine, by Daniel Greenfield

Media fake news is everywhere. No, the new health care bill does not treat rape as a pre-existing condition and Republicans did not celebrate its passage with beer. The latest media outrage is driven by a Washington Post story about intelligence disclosures based on claims by anonymous sources. The Post’s big hit pieces are mainly based on anonymous sources. Its latest hit piece runs a quote from, “a former senior U.S. official who is close to current administration officials.” That’s an anonymous source quoting hearsay from other anonymous sources. This isn’t journalism. It’s a joke. Last week, the Washington Post

Both the WaPo and CNN are owned by libtard billionaires who will spend any amount of money to get a communist with flexibility back in office.

Doubtless 99% of the media are liberal, left, or far left--but that´s not all of the story. Newspapers are DYING. Even online. Anyone younger than a baby boomer gets their news from a newsfeed, and then only clicks if the picture is interesting or the headline outrageous. Journalism has been reduced to sensationalism, political propaganda and click bait. And because this afternoon´s sensational propaganda is stale by mid-evening, more must be ginned up to feed the public´s ADD-short attention span. People don´t know how to think for themselves any longer. For that we can thank the demise of the family, the welfare system, and a politicized, nationalized, value-less education system--all gifts from our federal government.

As Dick Morris pointed out in a column published yesterday, President Trump is being tried by a form of a kangaroo court—no names, no evidence, just innuendo by today’s unscrupulous so-called journalists. A trusted friend and journalist rightfully states that the media today are corrupt—they abuse their press access, turning it against President Trump by twisting his words shamefully. Press conferences did not exist until FDR’s presidency so Newt Gingrich may be wise in suggesting closure of the White House press briefing room.

The msm are playing with fire because sane people no longer put any credence in their opinions—they cry wolf too often. Should there come a day when there is an honest-to-goodness crisis that should be heeded by the public, and the public dismisses yet another sensational “story,” and people suffer for it, the msm will own the disaster.

RushLimbaugh proffered two days ago, daily, a so-called major event involving President Trump breaks at 5:30PM so the msm television anchors can begin their evening broadcasts with yet another “breaking news” story. Even Fox News is putting out fake news adverse to President Trump, with Sandra Smith stating this morning that Donald Trump tweeted that he was against Robert Muller being appointed as Special Counsel. I don´t believe that was a true statement as what Trump said was that he believed that the Special Counsel investigation would be a witch hunt as he had nothing to do with the Russians, and that his tweeting never mentioned him being against Robert Mueller´s appointment.

In the days since violent clashes at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville culminated in a neo-Nazi sympathizer driving his car into a crowd of counter-protesters, journalists have mainstreamed the self-described “anti-fascists” (or “antifa”) at the rally — largely ignoring their involvement in the escalating political violence in this country. Many establishment political figures insisted the far-left actors were just like American soldiers on D-Day. But these “anti-fascists´” own statements show they’re nothing like American soldiers on D-Day. They aren’t interested in protecting America’s system of government, according to their own statements — they’re interested in destroying it. From the very start of

Hundreds of pro-Trump demonstrators and anti-Trump counter-protesters converged at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle on Sunday, resulting in several arrests and the confiscation of weapons. The rally, organized by the conservative group Patriot Prayer, came one day after violent clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, that left three people dead and dozens injured. Counter-protesters -- including antifa, Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), Veterans for Peace, Indivisible Seattle, Black Lives Matter, and the Freedom Socialist Party -- marched "in solidarity against hate," specifically against what they called “the bigotry, racism and violence" of the "far-right" organizers. President Trump is still facing a torrent of criticism for his responses to the Charlottesville violence. After calling out the hatred and violence from “many sides” on Saturday, Trump finally did what the media demanded and condemned white nationalists and other hate groups by name. Yet, that wasn’t good enough for the chattering class, and the new denunciation is not winning the president any goodwill. While it’s certainly true the president could have articulated a better message over the weekend, his administration is taking a very hard line on the Charlottesville violence.
