Prisoners´ family: Trump ´personally´

Washington Examiner, by Anna Giaritelli

An American woman and her Egyptian husband who had been imprisoned by the Egyptian government for three years arrived at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland late Thursday and will visit President Trump at the White House on Friday. Aya Hijazi and Mohamed Hassanein were among the group of six aid workers who were locked up in 2014 over allegations of child abuse and trafficking charges. After years of failed negotiations by the Obama administration, a family member of the couple credited Trump with "personally" stepping in to free him and his wife, as well as the four others. My guess is that the msm will give obama the credit rather than blaming him for supporting the muslim brotherhood in Egypt who imprisoned them.

At the risk of feeding the troll, Aya Hijazi is a natural born American citizen of legal immigrant parents. Her lawful husband by extention deserves respect.

Hillary Clinton says that she "beat" Donald Trump—and Bernie Sanders—in a lengthy feature article by New York Magazine. "I beat both of them," she said, evidently referencing her popular vote win over Trump. While Clinton did defeat Sanders, who is not a Democrat, in the Democratic primary, she did not defeat Trump, who was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States in January. In the story, Clinton discussed her post-election status as a member of the "Resistance" to Trump, but she also reflected on the 2016 campaign, which included a harder-than-expected fight against Sanders for the nomination. The Orb: By far the most entertaining non-story was the photo of President Trump, King Salman of Saudi Arabia, and President Sisi of Egypt posing with their hands atop a mysterious glowing white sphere. WASHINGTON -U.S. intelligence agencies conducted illegal surveillance on American citizens over a five-year period, a practice that earned them a sharp rebuke from a secret court that called the matter a “very serious” constitutional issue. The criticism is in a lengthy secret ruling that lays bare some of the frictions between the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and U.S. intelligence agencies obligated to obtain the court’s approval for surveillance activities. The ruling, dated April 26 and bearing the label “top secret,” was obtained and published Thursday by the news site Circa. It is rare that such rulings see the light of

Wearing no makeup and giant Coke-bottle glasses, dressed in a gray mock-turtleneck and black zip sweatshirt, Hillary looks less Clinton and more Rodham than I have ever seen her outside of college photographs. It’s the glasses, probably, that work to make her face look rounder, or maybe just the bareness of her skin. Juncker´s intervention, at a press conference ahead of Friday´s meeting of G7 leaders in Taormina, Sicily, came after reports in the German press, sourced to someone in the room, claimed that Trump had complained about the "terrible" trade deficit

As we pause this Memorial Day to honor those who died so that we might enjoy the blessings of liberty, here are some facts to remember about the day and some inspiring words from a great president. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day, set aside to decorate the graves of fallen Civil War soldiers. On the first Decoration Day in 1868, Gen. James Garfield spoke at Arlington National Cemetery where some 20,000 Union and Confederate soldiers were buried. Garfield said they “summed up and perfected, by one supreme act, the highest virtue of men and citizens.” Red poppies

The irony is mind-boggling: Targeting political opposition is long a technique of police states like Russia, which Team Obama has loudly condemned for allegedly using its own intelligence agencies to hack into our election.
