At this rate, the United States is going to need immigrants of all kinds to continue growth.??A new Census Bureau study has just reported a sobering commentary on the current generation of young people. “There are now more young people living with their parents than in any other arrangement…What is more, almost 9 in 10 young people who were living in their parents’ home a year ago are still living there today, making it the most stable living arrangement.”

When I left home in 1980 we had suffered through the Carter economy and jobs were hard to find. Careers even harder. We got a brief break during Reagan, but my kids´ generation has been living in a 3rd world country. Single parent families are the norm, drug abuse is worse than its ever been, despite widespread availability of birth control girls are popping out babies at an alarming rate, and because it is so expensive to hire employees, jobs are even harder to come by than when I left home.
That adage about this being the first generation to be worse off than their parents is true. So who to thank? Start with massive taxation of those who earn enough to hire people. Then go to a perpetual state of warfare, which is expensive. Then the security state. When we pay for our own enslavement, we shouldnt be surprised when people live like slaves.

#2 I´d hazard to say not only that but the educators/school districts/parents who pushed our kids through a touchy feely agenda driven curriculum, rather than learning critical thinking and actual skills. We have a generation of kids now who havent a clue as to Western civilization or even other civilizations but they think they know everything about diversity and "cultural appropriation." Learning real skills has been phased out over decades.

I have friends with a college-graduate adult son living at home. The son, now pushing 40, has seldom worked. The parents made excuses for him up into his 30s, but the mother now tells me she wants him out of the house. That ship has sailed, however, because the son has the emotional maturity of a 15 year old.

The hidden blessing for Trump in
the special counsel’s investigation

A witch hunt. That’s what President Donald Trump calls the appointment of a special counsel to investigate potential Russian political ties in the United States. At least that was Trump’s opinion last week. But there’s another way to view the naming of former FBI Director Robert Mueller to investigate allegations of Russian interference in the election and possible collusion between them and Trump’s campaign. It is actually a blessing, at least short-term. [Snip] Here’s where the Mueller appointment is good news for Trump. Mueller has

At 2:05 p.m. in the White House press briefing room last Tuesday, May 9, the very first words out of Sean Spicer’s mouth were: “Sorry I’m late, wrapping up some business.” Actually, he was just starting “some business,” some very dramatic business. The man whom President Donald Trump appointed as his chief spokesman to the world had just been informed belatedly, after two days of secret plotting beyond his ears, that in about an hour his boss was going to fire FBI Director James Comey. Remember when Donald Trump’s presidential campaign first died? It was during his candidacy announcement speech 23 months ago when the billionaire noted Mexico was sending drugs, crime and rapists into the country. [Snip] Trump’s campaign didn’t end – not until he won the presidency on Nov. 8 in a stunning upset that still haunts Democrats. Now, nearly four months through Trump’s first term, the highly educated media elite in Washington, who were so sure they’d be covering the first female president this spring, fully expect Trump’s political base to crumble. They are so determined to find his failing base that

In the world of political Washington, one of the most foreboding things that can happen to anyone is to have their boss say they’re 100 percent behind them. Goodbye, FBI Director Comey. President Donald Trump’s peremptory firing of James Comey is a complete homemade mess enabling a long list of the usual congressional suspects of both parties, who dislike this president anyway, to strut, preen and opine. [Snip] And a potential disaster to a chief executive who once again has made himself the center of a raging and completely unnecessary political tornado, this time over the nation’s preeminent law enforcement

President Donald Trump signed another executive order the other day, this one to protect religious liberties and freedom of speech, which you may have thought already existed. “Under my administration,” Trump declared during a Rose Garden ceremony on the National Day of Prayer, “free speech does not end at the steps of a cathedral or synagogue or any other house of worship. We are giving our churches their voices back.” Executive orders have become something of a go-to presidential device in recent times, given that America’s form of democracy is intentionally cumbersome against the Founding Fathers’ suspicion of unchecked government authority.

Sitting down? This is not The Onion. Republicans and Democrats have reached bipartisan agreement on a spending bill that would last not for a week or month. But for five whole months. This would seem to avoid a partial government shutdown for now. [Snip] The new interim budget agreement, announced late Sunday night, involves about $1 trillion in spending. Earth is likely to reach more dangerous levels of warming even sooner if the U.S. retreats from its pledge to cut carbon dioxide pollution, scientists said. That’s because America contributes so much to rising temperatures. President Donald Trump, who once proclaimed global warming a Chinese hoax, said in a tweet Saturday that he would make his “final decision” this coming week on whether the United States stays in or leaves the 2015 Paris climate change accord in which nearly every nation agreed to curb its greenhouse gas emissions. Leaders of seven wealthy democracies, at a summit in Sicily, urged Trump

Hillary Clinton’s inner circle is concerned that the “resistance” that cropped up in the wake of President Donald Trump’s electoral win isn’t embracing the failed Democratic Presidential candidate as their de facto leader. As of late, Hillary has taken to marketing herself as the leader of the anti-Trump resistance, Tweeting about her defeat, haranguing Trump in public appearances and “persisting” despite her loss. It’s clear from Clinton’s Twitter feed, paid speeches, and comments that she wants to lead the mostly female opposition to Trump’s policy agenda. It’s pile-on time for America’s commercial airlines. The contempt people hold for them has long been severe, but following a raft of highly publicized incidents, resentment has hit a fever pitch.
