At this rate, the United States is going to need immigrants of all kinds to continue growth.??A new Census Bureau study has just reported a sobering commentary on the current generation of young people. “There are now more young people living with their parents than in any other arrangement…What is more, almost 9 in 10 young people who were living in their parents’ home a year ago are still living there today, making it the most stable living arrangement.”

When I left home in 1980 we had suffered through the Carter economy and jobs were hard to find. Careers even harder. We got a brief break during Reagan, but my kids´ generation has been living in a 3rd world country. Single parent families are the norm, drug abuse is worse than its ever been, despite widespread availability of birth control girls are popping out babies at an alarming rate, and because it is so expensive to hire employees, jobs are even harder to come by than when I left home.
That adage about this being the first generation to be worse off than their parents is true. So who to thank? Start with massive taxation of those who earn enough to hire people. Then go to a perpetual state of warfare, which is expensive. Then the security state. When we pay for our own enslavement, we shouldnt be surprised when people live like slaves.

#2 I´d hazard to say not only that but the educators/school districts/parents who pushed our kids through a touchy feely agenda driven curriculum, rather than learning critical thinking and actual skills. We have a generation of kids now who havent a clue as to Western civilization or even other civilizations but they think they know everything about diversity and "cultural appropriation." Learning real skills has been phased out over decades.

I have friends with a college-graduate adult son living at home. The son, now pushing 40, has seldom worked. The parents made excuses for him up into his 30s, but the mother now tells me she wants him out of the house. That ship has sailed, however, because the son has the emotional maturity of a 15 year old.

One afternoon more than four decades ago, Gary Flandro, then a Caltech graduate student working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, was playing with numbers, as scientists and astronomers do. He realized that in 1977 the outer planets – Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus – would be in rare alignment – the first since Thomas Jefferson’s days. Using the gravity of each planetary encounter, a spacecraft could photograph, then slingshot past and beyond each planet, enabling the robots to make a grand tour and visit them all on one mission of interplanetary exploration. Thus began the amazing,

President Trump’s apparent new willingness to work closely with congressional Democrats could have a significant impact on next year’s midterm elections when, history indicates, the minority party is already likely to retake control of the House. Clearly, many Americans are wondering about amnesty for illegal immigrants under the DACA program. You may be wondering too. Clearly, President Trump has made it clear that he wants nothing to do with amnesty for them, assuming you define amnesty as he does. Which he hasn’t made clear. Deputy Press Secretary Lindsay Walters explained the president’s position clearly: The President has been clear in the past that there will be no amnesty. The Trump administration will not be discussing amnesty. [Snip] and the President has made it clear how he feels about no amnesty

On Feb. 14, 1779, Capt. James Cook, the British explorer, was captured and, uh, cooked by Hawaiian natives. Perhaps not since then has there been such a fiery demise as this morning’s flaming end to the historic space explorer Cassini. The death of Cassini (Giovanni Domenico Cassini was an Italian mathematician and astronomer, 1625-1711) was actually a radioed suicide command. Twenty years after a fiery launch and 13 years after arriving to peer around the magical planet of Saturn and its many moons, Cassini was running low on maneuvering fuel. Many people profess shock that Donald Trump, the longtime registered Democrat, big-time Democrat donor and one-time best pal with the Clintons, would suddenly turn on his Republican Party’s feckless leadership and do a stunning legislative package deal with old pals among congressional Democrats. It’s almost as if Trump was so disappointed with the ineffectiveness of Speaker Paul Ryan, Sen. Mitch McConnell and their feuding factions passively-aggressively failing to push the president’s agenda. Well, relax now in the sick comfort that those slow-walkers holding up your life are going to pay for their pathetic pace, they’re going to die sooner than you.
