At this rate, the United States is going to need immigrants of all kinds to continue growth.??A new Census Bureau study has just reported a sobering commentary on the current generation of young people. “There are now more young people living with their parents than in any other arrangement…What is more, almost 9 in 10 young people who were living in their parents’ home a year ago are still living there today, making it the most stable living arrangement.”

When I left home in 1980 we had suffered through the Carter economy and jobs were hard to find. Careers even harder. We got a brief break during Reagan, but my kids´ generation has been living in a 3rd world country. Single parent families are the norm, drug abuse is worse than its ever been, despite widespread availability of birth control girls are popping out babies at an alarming rate, and because it is so expensive to hire employees, jobs are even harder to come by than when I left home.
That adage about this being the first generation to be worse off than their parents is true. So who to thank? Start with massive taxation of those who earn enough to hire people. Then go to a perpetual state of warfare, which is expensive. Then the security state. When we pay for our own enslavement, we shouldnt be surprised when people live like slaves.

#2 I´d hazard to say not only that but the educators/school districts/parents who pushed our kids through a touchy feely agenda driven curriculum, rather than learning critical thinking and actual skills. We have a generation of kids now who havent a clue as to Western civilization or even other civilizations but they think they know everything about diversity and "cultural appropriation." Learning real skills has been phased out over decades.

I have friends with a college-graduate adult son living at home. The son, now pushing 40, has seldom worked. The parents made excuses for him up into his 30s, but the mother now tells me she wants him out of the house. That ship has sailed, however, because the son has the emotional maturity of a 15 year old.

The Republican Party in Congress could be on the verge of losing the 2018 midterm elections 16 months before they happen. Since 2010, the GOP has been vowing and planning and stunting to repeal the Affordable Care Act, that transformative legislative Frankenstein that Democrats crammed through Congress in 2010 without a single Republican vote. [Snip] The GOP crowd now looks like that little circus car disgorging clown after clown after clown, each one honking his horn and offering a personal version of Obamacare repeal. Now comes time to repeal and replace it for real and, well, golly gee, it’s kinda

No one ever accused Americans of being consistent when it comes to views on morality and marriage. So, it probably shouldn’t be surprising that a new Gallup Survey of adults finds that a record proportion of Americans now finds divorce “morally acceptable.” While the nation’s divorce rate actually drops. Since 2001, Gallup has found a 14% jump among Americans who find divorce morally acceptable. Increasing acceptance was especially prominent among older Americans, traditionally the most opposed. It wasn’t always this way. Some

The new report also adjusted upward estimates of newly-created jobs from previous months.
