President Obama’s former photographer posted a photo response to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) and musicians Ted Nugent and Kid Rock mocking a portrait of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during a White House visit on Thursday. Pete Souza´s photo, posted to Instagram, shows Obama sitting with his White House chief of staff Bill Daley beneath a portrait of former President Ronald Reagan. Palin and Nugent can be seen in their Thursday photo standing beside Clinton’s official first lady portrait while making exaggerated gestures as Kid Rock stands with his arms folded. I took my kids on a White House tour just after that portrait was installed early in the Bush administration. It´s at the start of the tour just as one enters the White House so its one of the first things a visitor sees. What I thought was so funny is that it´s opposite the display of the china from past presidents. She will forever look at it longingly.

...I realize that the Daily Mail refers to it as "mocking", but I think everyone from the left is just winding themselves up a bit too tight...

...Kid Rock has his arms crossed, Nugent is holding his jacket lapel and Palin doesn´t want her hand in front of Ted´s crotch...

...and I pulled out my magnifying glass and no, she isn´t even flipping Hillary...

...how long before it can be rotated OUT..?

The Souza “response” to the Palin-Nugent-Rock carrying the annotation “Being respectful” has no significance because it is comparing apples to oranges. The individuals in front of the Hillary Clinton portrait, as celebrities, do not command the “formality” expected of a President as displayed in front of the portrait of President Ronald Reagan.

I have never been all that Never-Sarah. I also have a sense of humor. But I doubt the President himself was very happy about these particular highjinx being published, so for me--the point goes to Souza.

This gang is a bit too Jacksonian for me and I would like the White House restored to dignity and respect. Maybe they should have designated times for horsing around in the Oval Office and White House (talking to you too, Ivanka) before which the participants would be frisked for cameras and smart phones.

The Antithesis of Obstruction

The “collusion” narrative was a fraud, plain and simple. We know that now. Hopefully, it won’t take another six months to grasp a second plain and simple truth: Collusion’s successor, the “obstruction” narrative, is a perversion. The Left loves narrative. The ever-expanding story manipulates time, space, and detail to fit a thematic framework. Political narrative has some surface appeal, but it is deeply flawed. It obscures plain and simple truth. So let’s stick with the plain and simple: The essence of obstruction is to frustrate the search for truth. Its antithesis is to demand the exposure of fraud. Donald Trump’s

He is an avid consumer of the products the CIA provides,” Pompeo said in an interview with Hugh Hewitt that aired Saturday on MSNBC. “I’m with the president nearly every day,” Pompeo said. Frustrated Democrats hoping to elevate their election fortunes have a resounding message for party leaders: Stop talking so much about Russia. Democratic leaders have been beating the drum this year over the ongoing probes into the Trump administration’s potential ties to Moscow, taking every opportunity to highlight the saga and forcing floor votes designed to uncover any business dealings the president might have with Russian figures. But rank-and-file Democrats say the Russia-Trump narrative is simply a non-issue with district voters, who are much more worried about bread-and-butter economic concerns like jobs, wages and the cost of

A feminist magazine is calling on all white women to “do their part to prevent white supremacy” and abort their white babies. This is sick beyond words. The feminist Medusa Magazine reported: In a progressive society, it is often white families that stand in the way of equality and justice. Systemic white supremacy depends, first and foremost, on the white family unit. When white conquerors forcefully penetrated the indigenous, egalitarian homeland of the Native peoples of America, they were quick to replicate their white societies, initiating their parasitism by establishing white plantations, headed by white fathers, submissive white mothers, and,

I’ve been talking about the importance of protecting against voting-machine hacks since 2002. And now, finally, people are starting to take me seriously. The move to paperless voting started in response to the Florida “hanging chad” fiasco in the 2000 presidential election. Some people (like me) thought this was a mistake, but such concerns were often dismissed. Now, apparently, you can’t be paranoid enough. As Politico’s Bob King noted, while 10 years ago critics of paperless voting were called paranoid, now both parties are worried. It remains true that there is no actual evidence that a single vote was changed by hackers

The Supreme Court said Monday that most of President Trump’s travel ban executive order can go into effect, delivering the first major victory to the new administration on perhaps his most controversial policy to date. Justices said the lower court rulings that blocked Mr. Trump’s policy were far too broad, and said the president can begin to enforce his ban against foreigners who don’t already have some ties to the U.S. That means the president can begin denying visas to visitors from six countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — who don’t already have family in the U.S., or some other prior connection such as
