How rich: Bill Gates made his billions

Scarcely had the starting gun for Britain’s election battle been fired when technology guru Bill Gates waded in with a doom-laden warning to the Prime Minister. The American multi-billionaire, the world’s richest man, was accused of ‘lecturing’ Britain last night after telling Theresa May not to slash the country’s bloated foreign aid budget – claiming that doing so would diminish Britain’s influence in the world and mean many more lives lost in Africa. In an article in the Guardian, he wrote: ‘The big aid givers now are the US, Britain and Germany. If those three back off, a lot of

So Gates has written his point of view on his massive aid to poor folks for the snobby Guardian??? As of this year:

I have a problem with those that make their money here and spending it outside of the country. This man has no problem telling us to do the same.

Charity begins at home. As Dolly Parton said "this is my home."

We have spent 150 years here on social safety net, many billions more of foreign aid. Then, they tell us we should pay reparations. That´s our thanks.

Second opinion: Windows sucks, all 785 versions.

People are going to die by the thousands in Africa every year, whether it´s by war, famine or crocodiles. It´s Africa, that´s what they do.

After watching how the Carnegie, Ford and Rockefeller foundations have morphed into leftist, anti-capitalist shills, it is frightening to think how Gates´ and Buffett´s money will end up considering they´re STARTING as pinko anti-capitalist entities.

For a century or two Britain poured money and people into Africa to quell wars, build schools, houses, roads, bridges, farms, businesses and libraries.
Then they were kicked out.

Now Gates says the Brits must send money (but not people) or lives will be lost. Sorry, Bill, been there done that. And Britain’s influence in the world exists for those who can keep it.

Union leaders are plotting a ‘summer of discontent’ to cause chaos and force Theresa May from power. Militants linked to Unite, rail guards, teachers and junior doctors told followers this week to prepare for co-ordinated strikes and national protests, which would bring the country to a standstill. They pledged to defy the election result and help the Labour Party seize power like the Bolsheviks in 1917, stating: ‘We will have a Red October with Jeremy Corbyn as our Prime Minister!’ The sinister campaign will start in days, with a protest planned outside Parliament on Wednesday to coincide with the Queen’s

Rhianna Levi, 17, was so busy giving her details to the British Red Cross volunteer at the door that she didn’t spot the police outrider drawing up behind her. Nor did she notice the noisy metallic chorus of camera shutters or the blue hat moving towards her. Her mind was on finding somewhere for her family to live for the foreseeable future. Forms completed, she turned round to rejoin her mother. Whereupon, she found herself chatting to the Queen. After this week’s carefully stage-managed appearances at the Grenfell disaster zone by the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, there was something

North Korea has accused the United States of blocking the hermit state from importing frozen chicken and swimming flippers due to stringent economic sanctions. Pyongyang accused Donald Trump of attempting to ´suffocate´ its economy and claimed the nation´s nuclear ambitions were entirely legitimate and required to defend itself from the United States. The country´s foreign ministry said if testing or possessing nuclear weapons was wrong, then the US and other nuclear superpowers should be subjected to economic sanctions as well. The statement included a long list of non-military-use items that it says have been impacted by the trade bans, including frozen chicken,

The Huffington Post pulled a piece calling for the “execution” of President Donald Trump published Saturday by contributor Jason Fuller. Fuller boldly declares in the title that “Trump must be prosecuted — if convicted in a court of law — executed.” Fuller doesn’t stop there, however, as he insists that “impeachment isn’t enough” to “drain the swamp,” and to do so means doling out the “ultimate punishment [execution]” in order to fully restore the moral compass of the U.S. Fuller’s “ultimate punishment” is not only reserved for

Seven percent of all American adults believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows, according to a nationally representative online survey commissioned by the Innovation Center of U.S. Dairy. If you do the math, that works out to 16.4 million misinformed, milk-drinking people. The equivalent of the population of Pennsylvania (and then some!) does not know that chocolate milk is milk, cocoa and sugar. But while the survey has attracted snorts and jeers from some corners — “um, guys, [milk] comes from cows — and not just the brown kind,” snarked Food & Wine — the most surprising thing about this figure may

LANCASTER, N.Y.- At many American high schools, the graduation-day tradition of crowning a valedictorian is becoming a thing of the past. The ranking of students from No. 1 on down, based on grade-point averages, has been fading steadily for about the past decade. About half of schools no longer report class rank, according to the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Administrators worry about the college prospects of students separated by
