Feds will CHARGE founder Julian Assange seven
years after his site first started publishing
classified information

Daily Mail (UK) & Reuters, by Ariel Zilber & Staff

Original Article

The US government is laying the groundwork for criminal charges to be filed against WikiLeaks founder Jullian Assange, CNN is reporting on Thursday. Assange has been on the American government´s radar since 2010, when his organization published thousands of classified documents stolen by former US Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. In August 2013, a military tribunal sentenced Manning to 35 years in prison. That sentence was commuted earlier this year by then-President Barack Obama. Manning is due for release next month. WikiLeaks bills itself as an international organization that publishes secret information, news leaks, and classified media from anonymous sources.

While I understand the need to do this, I think there are higher priorities/candidates who should be dealt with first.
Like Anthony Weiner and the laptop? How about the IC and their illegal and unethical activities?

Compared to what is on deck right now, Assange just doesn´t seem like he should be first.

Good luck with that one. Once classified information is leaked, it becomes public domain.

I firmly believe that if the Feds file charges, it´s solely revenge for letting the public know how utterly corrupt the federal goobermint actually is.

Democrats Don´t Want You to Find Out

It has been 10 days since Democrats received the glorious news that Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley would require Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort to explain their meeting with Russian operators at Trump Tower last year. The left was salivating at the prospect of watching two Trump insiders being grilled about Russian “collusion” under the klieg lights. Yet Democrats now have meekly and noiselessly retreated, agreeing to let both men speak to the committee in private. Why would they so suddenly be willing to let go of this moment of political opportunity? Fusion GPS. That’s the oppo-research outfit behind

Instead of disinviting controversial speakers, college administrators should model civil disagreement for students, say Ben Shapiro and Adam Carolla. Shapiro, editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, and Carolla, a comedian and radio host, testified Thursday before a joint subcommittee of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on campus challenges to free speech. “You can’t put students in a bubble and expect them to come out stronger,” said Carolla of administrators who disinvite or obstruct speakers in response to student protests. Shapiro had a similar take, saying, “a healthy nation requires a population ready to engage in open debate at any

Popular musician Kid Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, has been flirting with a Senate run in Michigan and a poll out Friday shows him far ahead in the Republican primary and within the margin of error in the general election. Ritchie has yet to decide whether to run for office, and released a statement on Wednesday about all the speculation in which he announced he is starting a non-profit group to encourage voter registration. “One thing is for sure though…The democrats are ‘shattin’ in their pantaloons’ right now…and rightfully so!,” Richie said in the statement. “We will be scheduling a

What would you conclude if you voted for a candidate or a party because of a promise to repeal or change a law that you strongly felt was harmful and unjust, but once in office the party refused to do it? You might conclude, rightly, that those politicians didn’t really work for you, and the party didn’t care what you thought. That’s precisely the message Republicans have been sending their constituents throughout the Obamacare repeal fiasco. The failure of Senate Republicans to pass a so-called “skinny repeal” in the early hours of Friday is merely the latest instance of GOP

On Wednesday night, I received a phone call from Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director. He wasn’t happy. Earlier in the night, I’d tweeted, citing a “senior White House official,” that Scaramucci was having dinner at the White House with President Trump, the First Lady, Sean Hannity, and the former Fox News executive Bill Shine. It was an interesting group, and raised some questions. Was Trump getting strategic advice from Hannity? Was he considering hiring Shine? But Scaramucci had his own question—for me. “Who leaked that to you?” he asked. I said I couldn’t give him that information.

President Trump responded to the Senate Republican´s inability to pass a skinny version of Obamacare´s repeal the only way he knows how: Twitter. (Tweet) Senate Republicans weren´t able to muster enough votes to pass their skinny repeal of Obamacare. Senators voted 49-51 shortly before 2:00 a.m. Friday morning. Sen. WASHINGTON -- The senator who was defeated by President Obama in his 2008 quest for the White House stepped in to cast the deciding vote to kill Senate Republicans´ last-gasp effort to repeal Obama´s signature healthcare legislation before the summer recess. The Trump administration may soon learn that singling out a class of people for exclusion violates the constitutional guarantee of equal protection under the law. The apology came in a statement from Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh, three days after Trump’s speech to nearly 40,000 scouts and adults gathered in West Virginia. Other U.S. presidents have delivered nonpolitical speeches at past jamborees. To the dismay of many parents and former scouts, Trump, a Republican, promoted his political agenda and derided his rivals, inducing some of the scouts in attendance to
