US preparing charges against
Julian Assange: report

The United States is preparing charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, CNN reported Thursday. U.S. officials familiar with the matter told CNN that prosecutors have found a way to move forward, after struggling to determine whether the First Amended protected Assange from prosecution. The Justice Department´s investigation of WikiLeaks can be traced back to 2010, after thousands of U.S. government files stolen by former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning appeared on the website. According to CNN, former President Obama´s Justice Department decided not to pursue charges against Assange because other mainstream publications also decided to publish the documents. I am not necessarily objecting to this but do find it ironic, since the President may not have won without Wikileaks-- and Comey....

Get it fixed firmly in your mind that Assange is no friend of America, however much the Wikileaks material hurt the Clinton campaign. I was disturbed by Hannity´s cheerleading for Assange. Leaks cut both ways. As Bela Lugosi said in one of those awful ´50s Ed Wood films, "Bevare!"

#2 the republicans who are as traitorous and truly evil as the left deserve to be exposed as well. I realize that is most of DC, but there are plenty of better people who could replace the Deep state of corruption.

At the moment I am far more interested in charges against Hillary, Podesta, Soros, Obama, Jarrett and the entire cabal who are trying and have tried to bring down Trump. If these cretins are allowed to escape justice then the Rule of Law means nothing.

Per #5, there are a lot more higher-priority activities they should be pursuing.

Are they going to go after the NYT and WaPo, among others, too? After all, they published Elsberg, among others, now didn´t they? Thought not.

Yes, Assange is my friend for exposing the corruption and RICO violations of two groups that have taken over our government and allowed to legally oppress, spy, and blackmail citizens.

The head of the CIA on Saturday pushed back on accusations the U.S. is not doing enough regarding Russia’s attempts to interfere in elections. CIA Director Mike Pomepo [sic] also said President Trump is an “avid consumer” of intelligence reports. “I cannot imagine a statement that is any more false than one that would attribute President Trump of not being interested in the intelligence community. He is an avid consumer of the products the CIA provides,” Pompeo said in an interview with Hugh Hewitt that aired Saturday on MSNBC. “I’m with the president nearly every day,” Pompeo said. Frustrated Democrats hoping to elevate their election fortunes have a resounding message for party leaders: Stop talking so much about Russia. Democratic leaders have been beating the drum this year over the ongoing probes into the Trump administration’s potential ties to Moscow, taking every opportunity to highlight the saga and forcing floor votes designed to uncover any business dealings the president might have with Russian figures. But rank-and-file Democrats say the Russia-Trump narrative is simply a non-issue with district voters, who are much more worried about bread-and-butter economic concerns like jobs, wages and the cost of

Oslo — On January 9, 2009, Grace Gao woke up with a strange feeling. She sensed that someone was going on a long journey. Yet no one in the apartment was packing. So she knew: It was they — mother, daughter, and son — who were going on a long journey. On that day, they escaped China. First they went by motorbike. Then they hid in the luggage hold of a bus. The deadly collision between a U.S. destroyer and a container ship June 17 took place while the freighter was on autopilot, according to Navy officials. The Philippines-flagged cargo ship ACX Crystal was under control of a computerized navigation system that was steering and guiding the container vessel, according to officials familiar with preliminary results of an ongoing Navy investigation. Investigators so far found no evidence the collision was deliberate. Nevertheless, an accident during computerized navigation raises the possibility the container ship´s computer system could have been hacked and the ship deliberately steered into the USS Fitzgerald, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer.
