Media Do Their Best To Turn Trump´s
100-Day ´Honeymoon´ Into Hell

Media Bias: By now, it should be no surprise at all that the big media lean left and, at times, behave as if they were an arm of the Democratic Party, not a fair dispenser of news and commentary. But a new report shows that, under President Trump, the problem has grown even worse. The conservative-leaning Media Research Center did a lot of TV watching earlier this year, looking at all of the mainstream evening news coverage — from ABC, CBS and NBC — of Trump and his new administration from Jan. 20 through April 9. During that time, they counted 869

The media is desperately trying to destroy this President, no question about that and they would be successful without the alternative media outlets on the internet including social media. It is much harder going forward with a destructive agenda when you have millions of Americans battling back with the truth. Television is losing its influence because it is so utterly biased. Americans are not fools and they have lived the results of the left´s messiah and it´s only going to get to be a much harder sell to convince us that progressivism will bring utopia. America marches forward with Trump regardless of the liberal media´s approval.

The new 4th branch of government simply strutting its stuff absent a headwind. They will stifle/destroy all who disagree to assure their utopia (and power…). We (the people...) are too stupid for elections to matter any more.

It´s not just trying to bring Trump down; the media is trying to disenfranchise those Americans who put him in office. That is the type of conduct of which wars are made. Since the mass media no longer has any resemblance to a free press, they should receive no protections or benefits under law or custom.

The National Football League´s preseason is underway, and national anthem-hating quarterback Colin Kaepernick still doesn´t have an NFL job. One can easily identify the liberal journalists by their anguish over this so-called injustice. You can also identify them by their dishonest arguments. Washington Post sports columnist Jerry Brewer pulled out a very large straw man on Aug. 17 in a column headlined "Days of Docile Black Athlete Have Ended. Get Used to It." He doubled down in the text, saying: "Sorry for the inconvenience, sports fans, but the days of the docile black athlete are over. This isn´t a time to

Health Care: In Iowa, the state´s sole remaining insurer announced on Thursday that it wants to boost ObamaCare premiums by 57%. This isn´t exactly the vibrant, competitive, low-cost market that Democrats promised. But it is the inevitable outcome of ObamaCare´s government-knows-best approach to health care. Earlier this year, Aetna and Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield announced that they were pulling out of Iowa´s ObamaCare exchange, leaving only Medica, which was also threatening to leave. Not surprisingly, Medica has used its newfound monopoly status to push for increasingly higher rates, while trying to pin the blame President Trump for the

Will Charlottesville Be Trump´s Katrina?

The Presidency: President Trump´s statements regarding the tragic events in Charlottesville have created a firestorm that, even by the unique Trump-era standards, appears unprecedented. Unless Trump can undo the damage, it could cripple his administration. In his presidential memoir, "Decision Points," President George W. Bush wrote about the fallout from 2015´s Hurricane Katrina and his own mishandling of the situation. In particular, he admitted that a photo taken of him flying over New Orleans was a huge mistake. "That photo of me hovering over the damage suggested I was detached from the suffering on the ground. That was not how

Who knew David Duke mattered? Cable news made the former wizard of the KKK quite visible in Charlottesville, at what planners billed as the largest gathering of the "alt-right community." The "Unite the Right" rally encouraged the like-minded to go to and demonstrate in Charlottesville, Virginia. Counter-protesters, of course, showed up, and many violent clashes ensued. When the dust settled, a woman had been killed and 19 injured when a suspect apparently intentionally drove his car into a crowd of people, although the matter remains under investigation. Two police officers died when their patrol helicopter crashed. Duke got considerable airtime in Charlottesville.

Here´s a rich one from the news: AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka has loudly announced he´s resigning from the president´s manufacturing council, to protest, of all things, violence. He´s thrown racism, too, in the mix, baselessly accusing President Trump of it, in line with his long history of race-baiting. But the doozy is his newfound sudden aversion to violence. Up until now, violence has always been his stock in trade. Extremism: It wasn´t long ago that Americans were being told repeatedly not to overreact to Islamic terrorism, because that would only serve as a terrorist recruiting tool. That´s worth remembering now, in the wake of the white supremacist attack in Charlottesville, Va. Harsh language, bitter attacks, backlash against attacks, accusing whole groups of being in bed with terrorists, were all, we were told again and again, "just what ISIS wants." "The Islamic State wants the West to overreact," was a typical comment over the years. Nuclear Diplomacy: With U.S. anger over North Korea´s burgeoning nuclear weapons program at a full boil, President Trump has announced the first step in what could become a trade war with China. It´s not a coincidence. To say that the U.S. is disappointed with China is an understatement. China loves access to our markets, but until recently played both sides as North Korea developed both a small nuclear bomb and the long-range missile capabilities with which to deliver it, and the U.S. tried to stop it. Civil Society: There is no excuse for murdering innocents, and all terrorist attacks should be roundly condemned. That should be a simple proposition everyone can agree on. What isn´t so simple or agreeable is the immediate attempt to politicize this tragedy. President Trump was getting attacked — and rightly so — for issuing a mealy mouthed statement in the immediate wake of the attack by a white supremacist who plowed his car into a crowd of counter-protestors in Charlottesville, Va., killing one and injuring more than a dozen others. Trust in the mass media is at an all-time low. Two-thirds of Americans believe the mainstream press publishes fake news. Yes, there’s still much good journalism to be found, if you know where to look. Yet, ask reporters who’ve been around a while, and many will tell you that a lot of good journalism is being left unpublished. Good journalists hate what’s happening to the news. We have only ourselves to blame. Firewalls that once strictly separated news from opinion have been replaced by hopelessly blurred lines. Once-forbidden practices such as editorializing within straight news reports, and the inclusion of opinions as if
