No President in American history has ever golfed more per week than Donald Trump. In his first 12 weeks in office Trump took a staggering 18 golf course trips. That´s unheard of. In his first 12 weeks in office, President Obama didn´t visit a single golf course. By the end of this year, it´s likely that Trump will have golfed more than President Obama has in his entire presidency. And that´s strange. It´s really strange. Because Donald Trump and other conservative pundits seemed to be deeply bothered by the times President Obama went out and golfed. It appeared to genuinely offend
Comments: Lordy! Mr. King might be a candidate for anger management.
#2 nailed it! The amount of time spent golfing is not a issue. The real issue is, when not golfing Obama was having huge concerts in the peoples house or eating ice cream and Trump spends his time working.
Obama´s golfing was out of pure boredom because he had no clue on how to run a government. Trump on the other hand hardly stops working and uses golfing to clear his mind. obama´s other motive was just sticking it to the taxpayer which his base loved.
Reasons why we are unconcerned about Trump´s golfing, where we criticized Obama´s:
1. Trump seems to love America. 2. Trump plays AFTER he works - not instead of working. 3.Trump works hard and long, and his policies benefit Americans. Obama had various staffers draw up executive orders, that often violated Separation of Powers, and signed it with a sneer, before going back to golfing or flying somewhere on vacation. 4. Trump considers America to be the ideal the world strives to copy. Obama considers America to be the problem to be eradicated as he groves before the tyrants who enslave the world.
I could go on. Trust me, though, if Obama had been more like Martin Luther King instead of a pathetic whiny man-child who hates this country, Conservatives would have been talking about a statesman, not a token black president. And for the record, the only people I´ve ever heard use the phrase ´uppity negro´, were Democrats.
This article is written by a male Rachel Dolezal. Obama was lazy, did not care how he blew our tax dollars, the WH became club 54, he was racist, he hated the military and law enforcement......I could go on and on.
C,mon guys, as soon as you see the by-line is ´ol TalcomX, just move on and laugh. You have to laugh right in these peoples faces. Don´t give them the clicks. Reply with humor. And if hit, hit back twice as hard.
What America hates to to have a black man forced down their throats and made their leader, simply because he is black. America suffered the same fate as the south did during reconstruction, when unqualified blacks were put in charge of educated whites, simply because they were black. Educated and qualified blacks are welcomed by conservatives. Herman Cain, Allen West, Ben Carson and Tomas Sowell are totally accepted, because they love America first, are educated and don´t believe that conservative American ideals are bad. What America objected to is an uppity black man that is put in charge, by left wing journalism and politics , being placed on 3rd base with the bases loaded and getting walked in, thinking he hit a home run.
This is the second time I have heard Obama called a "negro". The first time was the LA Times, which called Obama a "Magic Negro" in 2007, then blamed it on Rush for the next 8 years. Now we have the NY Daily News calling Obama an"Uppity Negro". These are two very liberal rags and forward thinking.
Who´s the racist now?
Will somebody please call my very liberal sister and tell her, because I had a huge fight with her over the Easter weekend?
Ignore this author and this article, but consider the following whenever Trump´s golfing is criticized. 1) many attacks concern "visits to golf courses", in which lunch at one of his Trump National clubs becomes "golfing" 2) DJT often does good business on the course .i.e. Japan ´s PM, congressional budget leaders, etc. I suspect there is a business reason behind each experience. I can recall none for the prior Prez. 3) DJT owns the clubs
The Democrat/Socialist try to make everything racism. Please get over it. Obama was incompetent and lazy no matter what his color. Notice he is hanging out with white guys now that he is out of office. Why doesn´t he hang with black entertainers again? Why don´t they pay his way on vacations like the white guys do? He did nothing for Black America except stir thing up and keep us divided. Shame on him.
BarryO had basically a regular foursome of anti-American filth, that rotated a few others of similar ideology into the group. The discussions; if they involved America AT ALL were about how to destroy it.
PRESIDENT Trump has played with leaders of American corporations, Foreign leaders and the like. We KNOW his conversations are about making America great again.
Re #30, I’ll bet that Choom Gang was flown in from Hawaii and wherever else they park now. At our taxpayer expense. So were Mooch’s hairdresser from Chicago, a personal trainer chefs from all over, Moms Robinson (when not in residence) and her girlfriend, and I imagine all the celebrity grifters who were brought to the WH to entertain. Including appearances at the Easter Egg Roll. They may or may not have donated their time; their transport, care and feeding would have been on us.
I actually wish that Obama had played MORE golf. Twice as much. Three times as much. Ten times as much! Every minute that he spent on a golf course was one less minute he was making a decision to damage our republic. If going to Mar-Lago bothers the Democrats, I could only hope that President Trump spends every weekend there. I love to see them running around with their little pink hats and their panties caught in tight places....
Hillary Clinton´s former campaign aides and other liberals who still lamenting the results of the 2016 election fired back at the New York Times on Monday for how the paper covered Clinton last year. Times reporter Glenn Thrush was bombarded by critics on Monday when he shared a news article on Twitter about the Secret Service running out of money to pay its staff due to President Trump and his family´s frequent traveling. "Trump´s gilded lifestyle is bankrupting the Secret Service," Thrush tweeted. One person sarcastically replied to Thrush´s tweet, "But the emails," a reference to the wide and extensive media coverage of
Let’s say you’re a prosecutor in Washington. You are investigating a husband and wife, naturalized Americans, who you believe have scammed a federal credit union out of nearly $300,000. You catch them in several false statements about their qualifications for a credit line and their intended use of the money. The strongest part of your case, though, involves the schemers’ transferring the loot to their native Pakistan. So . . . what’s the best evidence you could possibly have, the slam-dunk proof that their goal was to steal the money and never look back? That’s easy: One after the other,
The Trump administration is ending a policy implemented by former president Barack Obama that attempted to ban water bottles at national parks. The National Park Service announced last week it was ending the so-called Water Bottle Ban, which the Obama administration implemented in 2011 to "reduce our carbon footprint." "In its commitment to providing a safe and world-class visitor experience, the National Park Service is discontinuing Policy Memorandum 11-03, commonly referred to as the ‘Water Bottle Ban,´" the agency said in a statement. The National Park Service said the policy was counterproductive and only 23 out of 417 parks implemented the ban. "The 2011
In the 2004 puppet satire film “Team America: World Police,” a grotesque, gluttonous and evil Michael Moore rants outside Mount Rushmore and eventually – strapped with dynamite like a suicide bomber – blows it up. One would think that members of the political left would stop becoming the absurd caricature that people like the producers of the film – Trey Parker and Matt Stone – keep making them out to be. But the absurdity goes on. What started out as an issue of the right to assemble and protest against the removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in
In January 2012, President Barack Obama finalized his regulation banning employers from offering their staff health insurance unless it paid the entire cost of birth control. The penalty for providing coverage without birth control was set at $100 a day per worker — more than 15 times as much as the penalty for offering no coverage at all. This mandate was not part of the Obamacare law passed by Congress. It probably wouldn´t have passed if the controversial proviso had been included. In the time since, the mandate has been battered by litigation. A unanimous Supreme Court recently rebuffed the Obama administration´s
Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Saturday evening issued an executive order removing the case of two police officers slain in Kissimmee, Fla., from a prosecutor who had previously stated she opposes the death penalty. “Today, I am using my executive authority to reassign this case to State Attorney Brad King to ensure the victims of last night’s attack and their families receive the justice they deserve,” Scott said in the order. King will replace State Attorney Aramis Ayala, who argued earlier this year that the death penalty is not a deterrent and causes cases to drag on for years, inflicting anguish
Growing debate over the removal of Confederate monuments Debate is heating up throughout the country over what to do with Confederate statues and memorials. But it appears, at least for now, that 10 major U.S. Army bases will keep the names of Confederate soldiers. The Army refused to answer questions last week on whether those bases – including Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Fort Hood in Texas, and Fort Benning in Georgia – will keep their names, the Charlotte Observer reported. All 10 U.S. military bases named for Confederate soldiers are located in
Last Sunday ABC News had absolutely no question about how to identify the van driver in Charlottesville: “REGISTERED REPUBLICAN.” I guess none of the terrorists in Barcelona yesterday were REGISTERED REPUBLICANS, but then, judging by the headlines last night, it’s somewhat unclear if a human being was even involved in this latest slaughter. Washington Post: “Van Rams into Barcelona Crowd.” MarketWatch: “Barcelona Truck Attack reportedly leaves at least 12 dead.” So was it a truck or a van that committed this atrocity? The New York Times at least said, “Van Driver Kills 13.” These Muslim terror attacks are like the old movie “Groundhog Day.” It’s
This month marks 40 years since NASA launched the two Voyager space probes on their mission to explore the outer planets of our Solar System, and Australia has been helping the US space agency keep track of the probes at every step of their epic journey. CSIRO operates NASA’s tracking station in Canberra, a set of four radio telescopes, or dishes, known as the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC). It’s one of three tracking stations spaced around the globe, which form the Deep Space Network. The other two are at Goldstone, in California, and Madrid, in Spain. Between them they provide
On July 18, 2015, about a month into his long-shot campaign for president, Donald Trump famously attacked John McCain. "He´s not a war hero," he said. "He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren´t captured." Campaigning in Iowa that summer, Trump mocked Jeb Bush for being "low-energy." In February 2016, Trump said Bush´s brother, the forty-third president, had lied in order to invade Iraq. When Mitt Romney attacked Trump the following month, Trump responded by calling the 2012 Republican nominee a "choke artist." On his path to the 2016 GOP nomination and then the
There´s a whiff of Weimar in the air. During the years of the Weimar Republic (1919-33), Germany was threatened by Communist revolutionaries and Nazi uprisings. Foreign Minister Walter Rathenau was assassinated, and violent street fighting was commonplace. Then Adolf Hitler took power in 1933. America is nowhere near that point. But many surely agree with The American Interest´s Jason Willick, who wrote Sunday that "this latest round of deadly political violence has" him "more afraid for" the United States than he has "ever been before." But as he pointed out, this political violence -- identity politics violence is a more precise term
A federal judge on Thursday ordered the IRS to name the specific employees the agency blames for targeting tea party groups for intrusive scrutiny and said the government must prove it has ceased the targeting. Judge Reggie B. Walton also said the IRS must explain the reasons for the delays for 38 groups that are part of a lawsuit in the District of Columbia, where they are still looking for a full accounting of their treatment. Judge Walton approved another round of limited discovery in the case and laid out six questions that the IRS must answer, including the employees’ names, why
Two members of the Kennedy family were arrested for disorderly conduct near the family’s famed compound on Cape Cod, according to police. Max Kennedy, the 52-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and a noise violation around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after reports of loud partying, Barnstable Police told the Boston Herald. His daughter Caroline, a 22-year-old California resident, was also arrested at a home a short walk from the main Kennedy compound. (Snip) The arrests come after a brush with the law for another of RFK’s grandchildren, Conor Kennedy, who
“There must always” be a flow low-skilled immigration to the United States, no matter its impact on American workers, according to Republican establishment figure Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ). Flake slammed the idea of potentially cutting legal immigration levels in half to raise the wages of American workers and end the current low-skilled oriented system to make only admit immigrants based on their skills and merit in a New York Times op-ed. Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and David Perdue (R-GA) introduced the specific plan, known as the “RAISE Act.” President Donald Trump endorsed the plan and said the legislation “will reduce poverty, increase
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are among a set of White House aides pushing President Trump to allow illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children to stay, in an effort to get Democrats to fund the president´s border wall. McClatchy reported that the group of White House officials have suggested using so-called ´Dreamers´ as a bargaining chip, in order to check off some of the president´s campaign promises on immigration, including the wall, additional detention facilities, an E-verify system for employers and cuts to legal immigration. However, such a move would break another campaign promise, as candidate Donald Trump had pledged
Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal hoped for the assassination of President Trump in a Facebook comment on Thursday then deleted it in a panic. She even acknowledged she would get a visit from the Secret Service for her comment. (Photo) Maria Chappelle-Nadal’s Facebook comment was so egregious that even ABC News reported on the story. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports: Missouri state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, posted a comment in a Facebook conversation Thursday morning saying she hoped President Donald Trump will be assassinated. The comment was removed but Chappelle-Nadal confirmed to the Post-Dispatch that she had written it in
The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Sunday gave a strong endorsement to the movement for removing monuments to leaders of the Confederacy and called for the electoral college to be abolished. Speaking at the Islamic Center of Southern California, Jackson blamed the electoral college system, giving disproportionate influence to less populated states, for the 2000 and 2016 loss of Democratic presidential candidates Al Gore and Hillary Clinton despite their winning the popular vote. “Today we are looking at a structural problem,” Jackson said. “These monuments must go. Calling for the audience to repeat, he said, “Say the monuments and the flags
WASHINGTON — The Secret Service can no longer pay hundreds of agents it needs to carry out an expanded protective mission – in large part due to the sheer size of President Trump´s family and efforts necessary to secure their multiple residences up and down the East Coast. Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex´´ Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year. The agency has faced a crushing workload since the height of the contentious election season, and it
Thanks to Monday´s solar eclipse, disastrous traffic jams have been taking over the country these last few days. And as folks leave the first coast-to-coast solar eclipse since 1918, the U.S. Department of Transportation estimated that nearly two-thirds of the nation´s resident live withing a day´s drive of the path of totality. And with Oregon being the first to see the eclipse, it and neighboring state Washington are experiencing the worst bouts of the traffic jams. ´This is the biggest transportation event that has ever hit Oregon,´ Dave Thompson, a spokesman for the Oregon Department of Transportation told AP. Oregon
Black Lives Matter activist Chanelle Helm released a list of “requests” to white people in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, this month. Helm, the so-called “cofounder and core organizer of Black Lives Matter Louisville,” explained in an article published at Leoweekly.com the things she says need to “change.” “White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty,” Helm writes in an article titled “White people, here are 10 requests from a Black Lives Matter leader.” White people are asked, “Give up the
As the face of CNN, Anderson Cooper makes a very good living as wealthy, privileged white man casting judgments of affiliation upon his political enemies. This includes taking a handful of idiotic white supremacists and declaring they represent millions of Republicans/conservatives, pro-America, Trump supporters, etc. And yet Mr. Cooper himself has a much closer affiliation to slavery than he likely wants his leftist viewers to know. As a descendant of the Vanderbilt family, one of the wealthiest “old money” families in American history, Cooper is a direct descendant of big time slave owners. Cooper’s great-great grandfather, Cornelius Vanderbilt, owned several plantations,
A Texas college campus removed four statues of prominent Confederate figures in an overnight sweep, according to reports. The statues of Gen. Robert E. Lee, Gen. Albert Sidney Johnston, Confederate Postmaster General John H. Reagan and former Texas Gov. James Stephen Hogg were each taken down from the campus’ Main Mall in an operation beginning just before midnight and continuing through the early morning, KSAT 12 reported. “Last week, the horrific displays of hatred at the University of Virginia and in Charlottesville shocked and saddened the nation,” University of Texas President Greg Fenves said in a statement. “These events make
The eclipse that occurred over Chicago led thousands to the beaches and streets, where they gasped and cried out as the sun partially disappeared. For WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, it was an especially awe-inspiring event. The famed meteorologist hugged and high-fived people around him and wept as the eclipse occurred Monday afternoon. "Oh, my word," Skilling said. "Wow. This is amazing. What do you think of this, this?" At another point, he told viewers, "I´ll get my act together, guys." His voice cracking, Skilling apologized for his tears. Skilling´s heartfelt reaction earned him praise from fans:
President Trump’s “America First” base was the biggest loser of Trump’s speech on Afghanistan Monday night, and many quickly expressed their disappointment at the business-as-usual address from the president who had once promised to limit American intervention abroad and focus on nation-building at home. Trump’s speech, in which he pledged to increase the number of troops in the 16-year-war, was the first since the departure of Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and confirmed the fears of many on the right that without a strong nationalist voice in the West Wing, the President would revert to the same old fare that Americans had
