Trump´s First Hundred Days
PJ Media, by Michael Walsh

Original Article

My Sunday New York Post column today takes a look at how the traditional (well, since FDR, in American political usage) first hundred days are going: As the end of Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office approaches, now’s a good a time to cut through the fog of misinformation, disinformation, media propaganda, ideological bias and outright hostility that has greeted his arrival in Washington and take a clear-eyed look at how he’s really doing. Answer: much better than you think. The rumor mills have been working overtime in Washington this weekend -- and I guess we´ll find later today

I´d give the president high marks for his progress in confronting the Syrian government´s gassing of its own people; for his resolute stance towards North Korea, which has been allowed to terrorize the western Pacific for far too long; for confronting a relentlessly hostile media establishment; for rescinding Obama´s worst executive orders; and for his surprisingly successful foreign policy. I do believe that´s the first time I´ve seen Premier Xi smile, ever, in Florida.

He is keeping the most important of his campaign promises. (That said, I wonder whether anyone really wants to see his 500-page-plus tax return, and why. He promised to release it, and I think he should keep that promise, but it´s a silly demand by silly people who are looking to pick a fight.)

Every new administrations has a certain amount of chaos, and Trump´s is no exception. He´s had to face inexcusable delays in confirming his cabinet and Justice Gorsuch. However, I think he´s made solid progress in that regard. His cabinet is terrific.

Overall, he is a quick study, a tireless worker, and a solid leader of our sharply divided nation.

This "First 100 Days" is a tired cliché that has long outlived its usefulness. Trump is playing a long game, and that itself is a long-overdue and welcome change.

1.Repeal 0bamacare (replace if you want but not required)
2. Cut corporate tax down to 15%
3. Continue strict enforcement of immigration laws already on the books and hold out the threat to build the wall(Build it if you want but again not necessary)
The rest will fall in place

Action speaks louder than any political commentator. I´ll be in the skeptical column till I see more stuff ticket off the list and he builds more trust that he can or wants to deliver on his promises.

Trump is not a Savior. We hired him to do a job and our job is to make sure he does it our we find someone else. Conservatives own the fight to save our country, Trump is one mechanism we are using to win. If he can´t carry us across the finish line, we will need to find someone else and fight on.

It´s going to take a good 12 to 16 years to straighten this thing out and destroy the left. Can´t put the whole thing on one person´s. We need a plan forward with and without Trump. He is only a stepping stone in the journey. Bannon will be Trumps showing card, if he gets rid of Bannon then we have been had.

Today is the scheduled date for the French election. Darned if I or anyone can say how it will turn out, though I think our President is right -- the attack on three policemen on the Champs-Élysées would certainly seem to boost the chances of Marine le Pen. Of course, I could be wrong, and Barack Obama’s apparent favorite Emmanuel Macron, who says terrorism will “be a fact of daily life” that his countrymen will just have to get used to, will appeal to enough suicidal Frenchmen to carry the day. Democrats inherit the foreign policy crises of a thousand Republican presidential fathers, but the foreign policy crises inherited by incoming Republicans in the White House are always orphans. Or at least that’s how the media likes to spin it. If you believe your random mainstream media outlet of choice, North Korea and Syria were crises freshly spawned by this administration with no prior history. But these ticking time bombs are the direct result of the two terrible terms of his predecessor. The Nobel Peace Prize winner’s years in the White House were the most dysfunctional, schizophrenic and senseless eight years of our national

The Associated Press edited the words of a Muslim man who allegedly killed three white people in downtown Fresno Tuesday afternoon and shouted “Allahu Akbar!” The suspect, 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, holds fervent anti-Trump beliefs according to his social media profile, and he told police afterward that he hates white people. They have the House, they have the Senate, they have the presidency -- and nothing´s happening. Nothing, that is, that Donald Trump doesn´t do by himself (i. e. reversing Obama´s executive orders and cutting regulations in general, reviving American global power, etc.). The Republicans in the legislature are a disgrace. They can´t get it together to compromise on anything and move forward -- no tax reform, no healthcare, no nothing. They are overwhelmed by a combination of overweening ego and rigid ideology -- a lethal cocktail. What their behavior is doing is creating an inevitable situation where they lose control of

My focus this week is on the “wiretapping” (electronic interception of communications, if you insist) of President Trump and his associates during the campaign. It seems to me this story is rapidly unfolding -- if only mostly in overseas press and online -- and promises to be far more explosive than the Watergate story, an account that says frightening things about our intelligence agencies and those of some of our allies, most particularly Great Britain. It has become increasingly clear to me that there was widespread wiretapping of President Trump and his associates and that the underlying justification was pretextual

Easter Week celebrates resurrection. It’s fitting that of all weeks, the signs of the American resurrection championed by Donald Trump are finally beginning to show. There is a book titled Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, Really Bad Day. Let’s change that to the left’s terrible, horrible, really bad week, because an American resurrection is happening. The week started with the swearing in of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. This portends a potentially sane court policy for years. What does #Resistance really mean? It means the overthrow of our government. In this century, Democrats rejected the outcomes of two presidential elections won by Republicans. After Bush won, they settled for accusing him of being a thief, an idiot, a liar, a draft dodger and a mass murderer. They fantasized about his assassination and there was talk of impeachment. But elected officials gritted their teeth and tried to get things done. This time around it’s “radically” different. The official position, from the Senate to the streets, is “Resistance.” Leftist media outlets are feeding the faithful a fantasy that President Trump will be

Former Fed chair Ben Bernanke charges between $200,000 and $400,000, former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner charges $200,000, and former President George Bush charges around $150,000, according to a person familiar with the matter. SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in San Francisco has blocked a Trump administration order to withhold funding from communities that limit cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Judge William Orrick issued the temporary ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit over the executive order targeting so-called sanctuary cities. The decision will stay in place while the lawsuit moves through court. The Republican president’s administration and two California governments that sued over the order disagreed about its scope. San Francisco and Santa Clara County argued that it threatened billions of dollars in federal funding. But an attorney for the Justice Department,

"Because of changes in the media, we now have a situation in which everybody is listening to people who already agree with them, and are further and further reinforcing their own realities to the neglect of the common reality that allows us to have a healthy debate, and then try to find common ground and actually move solutions forward," Obama said in his

Ex-President Barack Obama is the mystery man of American politics. Given the absence of a viable paper trail, nobody can say for sure who he is. He manifests for us as a figure of multiple identities: a Christian, a Muslim, a secularist, a socialist, a humanist, an intellectual, a man of the people. His lack of definable substance, his inner absence, has been an important political advantage. As Obama himself confessed (or boasted) in The Audacity of Hope, this layering of anonymities enabled him to “serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their

The disturbing video of the fight was shared on social media, featuring a large group of teens pummeling each other outside a Rue 21 clothing store inside Orange Park Mall. The Clay County Sheriff´s Office said the incident happened Saturday. In the footage, several people are seen punching a girl on a couch. Behind them another group is seen fighting as a woman appears to try and calm things down. A third and fourth group of teens are also seen fighting in the background.
