As FBI probe continues, Trump
says it’s ‘not too late’ to fire Comey

In an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo, Donald Trump was asked about “Obama-era staffers” that continue to serve in the executive branch. As the Washington Post reported, one official in particular stood out as important. President Trump said in an interview aired Wednesday morning that he has “confidence” in FBI Director James B. Comey, but it was “not too late” to fire him. Trump has long sent mixed signals on Comey and the bureau director’s future in government, though his comments to Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo are especially important because Comey has now confirmed that the bureau is investigating possible

Comments:
Shouldn´t the lefties be cheering? Given that they think it was a Comey-KGB cabal that conspired to keep Hillary from her rightful place as president? Hmmmm?

I would like to see Comey let go. We need a professional law enforcement officer, not a political activist, and word parser on both sides of his mouth.

Unimaginable why Trump would not fire this dingleberry.

I have wondered if the "investigation" was pursued so Trump couldn´t fire him without appearing to be trying to protect himself. So Comey investigates Trump to hang on to his own job and undermine the new administration.

I agree Director Comey should resign, and if he doesn´t he should be fired. Like many others who has held a Security Clearance the Director has spit in our faces with his ludicrous Hillary decision. Having a private unsecured server in your home passing and receiving Classified Intelligence is a definite serious security violation. For us military types it would be a Court-Martial!

When was it... a couple of months ago that Mr. Comey said that "there is no evidence of surveillance" of the Trump team?
Now in the last couple of days we find out that the FBI obtained a FISA warrant to..... surveille one (that we know of so far) Trump team member.

As head of the FBI, it would seem certain that Mr. Comey would know about this.
Mr. Comey lied to the nation.
It is time for him to resign.

And when Comey goes, let´s be sure that that Clinton stooge plant, McCabe (#2 guy) goes as well.

Remember, he´s the guy whose wife was running for Va. lege (she lost) but got lotsa bucks from Clinton´s bagman, the Va. gov., and I think Hillary herself showed up for a fund raiser.

Oh, and didn´t the Mr. McCabe lead the Clinton email investigation.

As somebody once told me, if it´s brown, on the ground, and near the dog, you don´t need to tell me it´s the dog´s droppings.

Iraq might descend into “chaotic violence”—or worse. The broader Middle East could “go to hell” all over again. If the United States doesn’t step up under President Donald Trump, Paul Wolfowitz warns in a new interview for The Global POLITICO, our weekly podcast on world affairs in the Trump era, it would represent an “opportunity” blown, a missed chance that would result in “lost American influence” and a win for “hostile actors.” Wolfowitz, a hawkish Republican known as the architect of the Iraq war for his role in advocating President George W. It is said that the rich man thinks only about money. But, in truth it is the poor man who can think of nothing else. In “Asia’s (most expensive) world city”, you would be surprised who considers themselves to be poor. You can’t measure or hide behind anecdotal evidence showing the deteriorating quality of Hong Kong’s basket of economic goods that constitute quality of life. A locally based senior executive at an international asset manager, frustrated at paying HK$68,000 a month for a flat in Aberdeen for his wife and two kids, decided to move to the suburbs of Taipei where

A review of Donald Trump´s business career would lead one to say that he has always over-promised and under-delivered. Whether his long list of bankruptcies in the ever-profitable casino business, the failures of his "university,´ steak, vodka or clothing lines, there has been a history of putting himself first, while ignoring the needs of his constituents. We may be seeing that play out in his approach to government, as well. As in business, Trump has a constituency of one … himself … just ask his stock and bond investors, his suppliers, contractors, laborers, or even his customers. Unlike Trump, they rarely,
