Fox News suspends Andrew Napolitano
over British spying claim: Report

Washington Examiner, by Eddie Scarry

Original Article

Fox News has indefinitely removed contributor Andrew Napolitano from its programming, following an unsubstantiated claim he made on air last week and that was refuted by U.S. intelligence officials, according to a report. The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that Napolitano has not made any appearances on Fox since last Thursday. Citing an anonymous source, the paper said Napolitano "is not expected to be on Fox News Channel any time in the near future." The Washington Examiner has asked a Fox spokesperson for confirmation of the report. Napolitano last week tried to bolster President Trump´s own previous and unfounded claim

I moved two years ago and don´t have cable anymore. At first I missed Fox News because I would have it on as noise during the day when there is absolutely nothing to watch on TV. So glad it is gone. That network has gone to crap. Never liked Ted Baxter (Bill O) and Shep is just sickening. Don´t know how they keep their audience.

He has a choice. If he had sources (and hearing it at the time, live on Fox Business News with Stuart Varney, I couldn’t imagine he didn’t have sources whether he wanted to reveal them or not), he could exonerate himself...

Apparently the owners of Fox are ´lonely´ and feel the need to be able to socialize with other (leftist) news channel administrators.

So, this is what you get.

Unsubstantiated claim? That´s a good one. First of all, all Napolitano did was relay what he was told to him by others. Since when does that have to be substantiated? Is he supposed to play a tape of those conversations? Plus, he´s not a REPORTER who is supposed to substantiate their claims but never do, just put their crap out there. Think CBS, NBC, ABC, PMSNBC, CNBC, PBS.

Saw Lachlan one night in London- he was drunk and obnoxious in a small, elegant bar.

Maybe it is time to cut cable- sick of liars.
Nedra Tanden and Emanuel on Sunday Mornin were disgusting.
Nothing "fair and balanced" when they talk over others and spout lies.

Something very sinister going on here. The movement to take down Trump has reached a fever pitch. Fox news is allowing Shepard Smith to continue his ranting and raving hate Trump pitch while they dismiss Napolitano who appears to be one of the most honest, smart legal voices at Fox. The FBI and other intelligence agencies are getting full coverage on Fox News as they appear before Congress with their obvious lies about their covert activities pertaining to bringing Trump down.

Wake up America......the movement is proceeding full speed ahead in bring down our President and they must be stopped !!

It looks like Fox got the same kind of illness that beset Democrats when they voted for Obamacare, etc and basically fell on their swords, got subsequently voted out next election because of their actions. Well if they want to walk the plank, head on out and we´ll even push. Talk about indoctrination and headed for ruin! All those Fox personalities mentioned above are tanking the channel and it looks like they are racing for the bottom. The roll down hill all probably started about the time Fox caved to George Soros in getting rid of Glenn Beck. Beck said in one broadcast Soros spent one million dollars to kill his 170 show and get him ousted.

Also, there is a fairly new network on cable. That is One America News Network, it your cable carries it. If not, it has a web site. And another web site, (I don´t know if it has a broadcast network but it´s available on the net) is AXIOS. Both of these are conservative new outfits.

Now Fox is being stupid at the least in suspending the Good Judge. Chances are Obama and his henchmen and the British Secret Service did what Andrew Napolitano said, but they covered their tracts well!?

It be great if evidence surfaced to vindicate President Trump and the Good Judge soon?

The man who told Napolitano the information confirmed he was the person on Brian Stalter´s show. I don´t think Stalter is smart enough to have figured it out, but it´s posted on Twitter.

Any way, this is a good way to keep Napolitano from saying anything more. I´m guessing he is going to be called in to testify as a witness, so best not to get him to say anything more that could possibly conflict or reveal who the dirty people are.

I think this was more of a protection plan for the Judge than anything else.

We will see.

Yet FNC continues to air contributors who push unsubstantiated memes more consistent with Establishment thought. (Not to mention that the good judge´s claims are embarrassing to the Establishment intelligence community.) Should anyone be surprised? What News Corp. chooses to air on broadcast FNS should be the "tell" - not much different from what you will see on the other broadcast alphabets. Why are Chris Wallace and Shep Smith News Corp´s faces to the general public? FNC has just become a place to "park" those with a more conservative bent, and use their numbers to build up the company. Now is is time for News Corp. to "move on".

It is time for us to "move on", too. Fortunately, there are other outlets for our news, and the number is increasing.

After a horrible turn of events for brilliant political voice, Bill O’Reilly, he is going to be returning to the public eye once more on Monday with the latest episode of his podcast “No Spin News”. (Photo) Bill O’Reilly’s website announced Saturday evening that the new podcast would be available Monday, just one day after Fox News removed his show permanently. Friday night saw Greg Gutfeld hosting the final episode of the wildly successful “The Factor”. He closed the show with this statement: “How do I turn out the lights on such a venerable and amazing show? I can’t. It’s

Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Calif., told a sixth grader last week that she should be worried because President Trump is more dangerous than a terrorist. During the Q&A portion of a town hall event held at Stanley Middle School in Lafayette, Calif., DeSaulnier took a final question from 11-year-old Eden, according to a report published Saturday. It was past her bedtime and she had given her question to a school staff member to be asked, the report said. The question included an anecdote of how the young girl´s mother cried on election night and how she is personally worried that her

Ever since L. Frank Baum’s works started passing into the public domain in 1956, any number of adaptations and reinterpretations have appeared, from the 1978 filming of the Broadway musical The Wiz to Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked, and down to the confusing 2017 television series Emerald City. But the fact that a text is royalty-free doesn’t exempt authors from the ordinary courtesy of acknowledging their source material. The political reporters Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes ought to be ashamed that they didn’t mention where they’d found the plot for their new book, Shattered. In the early pages of Shattered,

Kori Ali Muhammad, suspected of killing four people in Fresno, California, this week during a racially motivated shooting spree, entered a courtroom Friday shouting racially charged demands. “Let black people go in reparations,” Muhammad screamed twice. He also warned that natural disasters in America will increase, ABC News reports. The outbursts prompted Muhammad’s lawyer, Eric Christensen, to tell the judge he believes his client “may not be mentally competent to proceed.” Fresno County Superior Court Judge W. Kent Hamlin obliged and ordered that a doctor examine Muhammad. CBS News published raw footage of the rant: (Video) The 39-year-old suspect has been

There could not be a better example of liberal media double standards than the kerfuffle over former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin posing in front of Hillary Clinton’s White House portrait (as First Lady) with rock stars Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. The ladies of The View had their knickers in a knot. “You’re in the White House. Bring a little class with you!” sniffed Sara Haines as her co-hosts agreed in one way or another. Really? Really? Clearly The View crew (not to mention Palin’s critics) seem to have forgotten this story as recounted back in 2012 in Philadelphia Magazine.

President Trump awarded a Purple Heart to a wounded service member during a Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday. During the short ceremony, the president placed the Purple Heart on the right lapel of Sgt. First Class Alvaro Barrientos, according to a pool report. When I heard about this and I wanted to do this, myself," Trump said, thanking the service member. Trump´s wife Melania was also in attendance. President Trump announces a rally in Harrisburg Pennsylvania for Saturday April 29th at 7:30pm. In addition to being the 100th day of the Trump administration, it is also the same night as the self-congratulating White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC. Too funny. Subtle, like a brick through a window. (Tweet) President Trump was at this venue for a rally almost exactly a year ago. April 21st 2016 (Photo)

Donald Trump has a “dangerous mental illness” and is not fit to lead the US, a group of psychiatrists has warned during a conference at Yale University. Mental health experts claimed the President was “paranoid and delusional”, and said it was their “ethical responsibility” to warn the American public about the “dangers” Mr Trump’s psychological state poses to the country. (Snip) James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, told the conference he had worked some of the “most dangerous people in society”, including murderers and rapists — but that he was convinced by the “dangerousness” of Mr

The Obamas have been taking a much-deserved break from politics since moving out of the White House. But next week, it´s back to reality. President Barack Obama will be in Chicago on Monday to discuss community organization and civic engagement. As we all know, the Obamas have impeccable taste in food, so it wouldn´t be surprising to see the former president surveying the Chicago dining scene when he returns stateside. Will he visit the renowned Alinea? Or return to an old Obama favorite, Spiaggia? Last September, my husband and I had a chance run-in with Barack and Michelle, who were in New York City for their last visit as

A review of Donald Trump´s business career would lead one to say that he has always over-promised and under-delivered. Whether his long list of bankruptcies in the ever-profitable casino business, the failures of his "university,´ steak, vodka or clothing lines, there has been a history of putting himself first, while ignoring the needs of his constituents. We may be seeing that play out in his approach to government, as well. As in business, Trump has a constituency of one … himself … just ask his stock and bond investors, his suppliers, contractors, laborers, or even his customers. Unlike Trump, they rarely,

Steel yourselves. Barack Obama’s about to emerge from the shadows — and first stop, University of Chicago. Why there? No doubt, it’s one of the more receptive breeding grounds for his particular brand of activism — the activism he’ll be touting to malleable student-age minds while engaging in, as his people called it, a “conversation about community organizing and civic engagement.” Make no mistake about it. This is about teaching the upcoming generation, loud as it already is about all topics that offend, to get even louder, even Leftist Prouder, and to — here’s the gist — use that Leftist

A Chicago artist has finished his mural of Michelle Obama in a colorful image that features the former first lady as an Egyptian queen. The painting by artist Chris Devins was completed Friday on the southeast corner of Chappel Avenue and 74th Street in South Shore. That´s two blocks from the former first lady´s childhood home at 7436 S. Euclid Ave. and across the street from Bouchet Elementary, which she attended when it was known as Bryn Mawr School. "I wanted to present her as what I think she is, so she´s clothed as an Egyptian queen. I thought that was appropriate,"

Outraged Muslims are reportedly planning a May 1 demonstration at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The company is under fire after several Muslim security guards demanded time and space to pray five times a day, while on the job. The guards contend in a lawsuit filed this week that the subcontractor who employs them does not appropriately accommodate their faith and retaliates against those who speak out. The Service Employees International Union and the guards allege that Amazon grants high-earning tech workers conference rooms to pray in, but they do not provide the same accommodation for contracted security officers

A Harvard University office devoted to LGBT issues reportedly has issued a flier telling students that gender identity can change as frequently as “day to day.” The flier from the Ivy League schools BGLTQ Student Life office, headlined “Get the facts about gender diversity,” informs readers that “Sex assigned at birth and gender identity are not necessarily the same,” Campus Reform reported Thursday. The flyer adds that “gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, hormonal makeup, physical anatomy, and/or how one is perceived in daily life.” The document also seems to categorize speech that challenges or disagrees with transgenderism as “violence.” “Transphobic misinformation is a

The September 2016 article in Politico championing Hillary Clinton’s use of "data analytics" now looks—how shall we put it?—rather premature. Politico swooned that computer algorithms "underlie nearly all of the Clinton campaign´s most important strategic decisions." Computer guru Elan Kriegel had crunched the numbers for campaign manager Robby Mook, allowing Team Clinton to precisely target her potential voters and thus not waste one dime on appealing to the deplorables. "Clintonites saw it as their secret weapon in building an insurmountable delegate lead over Bernie Sanders," Politico reported. American Airlines suspended a flight attendant after an altercation on Friday in which the attendant took a stroller from a woman traveling with two young children and then argued with other passengers. The episode was captured, in part, on video. The encounter, at San Francisco International Airport, occurred while the woman was boarding a Texas-bound flight. The attendant, whose name was not released by the airline, grabbed the stroller from the woman, who was carrying 15-month-old twins, a passenger who was nearby said.

Former President Barack Obama will make his first public appearance Monday, hosting an event on civic engagement on his old stomping grounds at the University of Chicago. The event, open to the public but with limited tickets, will bring together younger leaders and students “for a conversation on community organizing and civic engagement.” It won’t be an explicitly political event. As an Illinois state senator, Obama once represented the neighborhood where the campus is located and also was a law professor at the university. He last stopped by the campus in 2016, using an event at the law school to make a

The Trump administration put nine of the country’s top sanctuary cities on notice Friday that they could soon have to give up some federal funds unless they can prove they are no longer thwarting Homeland Security’s efforts to deport illegal immigrants. The entire state of California is being targeted, as are the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cook County in Illinois and Miami-Dade County in Florida round out the list. In letters to each of the nine jurisdictions the Justice Department said they signed documents last year, when they applied for Byrne
