Approximately 30 countries are refusing to accept the deportations of illegal immigrants who have committed serious crimes in the U.S., according to Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar. While these countries are refusing to accept the deportations of these criminals, the U.S. government is still issuing visas and student visas to citizens of those countries, according to the Texan congressman. There is already a law on the books which allows the U.S. to hold visas from a country that is not taking back its criminals, but according to Cuellar, the U.S. is not enforcing it. “We’re not enforcing it, which is amazing. So now
Comments: Talk about audacity. They sure don´t have any problem taking advantage of the freebies and pushing their undesirables into this country. All funds to each of these countries should be cut off until they take back their filthy criminals! We under no obligation to keep them. The link below (which says 23 countries) identifies them. The second link how much aid is given to every country. The numbers are astonishing! Why are we giving a dime to Iran and Cuba, just to name two??

Tired of being abused by liberal policies. New Prez, new day...stop all aid, monetary and any other. Actually Pres. Trump could halt all immigration from these nations also regardless of the 9th Circus Clowns for judges.
In one sense it is hard to blame those nations for a bad attitude.
The USA has botched our own immigration laws and border enforcement. We can hardly expect much cooperation or respect from others.
OTOH those nations do have obligations. What are their treaty obligations? Those should be honored. And what of their own laws and/or Constitution?
But the problem will never be completely settled. There will always be some illegals in the USA and some will be convicted of serious crimes.
Perhaps an international penal colony should be created somewhere like the South Georgian Islands. Cooperating nations could park such convicts there until they die or their nation is willing to take them home.
Cut off any foreign aid and access to the United States immediately. Load the immigrants into a cargo plane and dump them out at 30,000 feet without a parachute right over their capital city......works for me.
1) Fully enforce the law on the books which allows the U.S. to hold visas from a country that is not taking back its criminals. Cancel all current visas and expel all of said country´s citizens.
2) Rescind any and all foreign aid to any country that is not taking back its criminals.
3) Any non-immigrant, convicted of a felony (regardless of the severity), whose country will not take back its criminals who have completed their sentence, becomes immediately eligible for the death penalty, no appeals in this country, but allowed one attempt to gain re-entry to their country of citizenship.
This question ~ whether or not they accept back their own criminals ~ hits in three different places:
(1) Banning visas to people in countries with no governments (2) Banning visas to people in countries who won´t accept back criminals (3) Accepting people in those countries to enter under H1B (and other employment permit t ype visas)
One country gets 86% of ALL H1B visas.
It´s called INDIA.
They have a gub´mnt. They refuse to accept back criminals.
Why that´s half the professional (but low paid) staff at Microsoft, Apple, Google, Face Book, and 30 other high tech firms in California ~
Donald had a three pronged promise. He was going to do something about stopping Moslem migrants until we can figure out how to vett them. He promised to send back illegal criminals. And, he promised to look into H1B misuse (although he was a bit cagey about what that last one meant).
Currently, in this one issue ~ shutting down the issuance of visas in non-countries ~ he´s actually working on all three campaign promises.
James and Lachlan Murdoch set out to battle for control over their father´s ´band-of-pirates´ empire after a yearlong battle with sexual harassment allegations against ex-Fox News chief Roger Ailes and most recently, Fox host Bill O´Reilly. (Snip) They started with inviting Fox employees to a town hall in which they spoke of transparency and workplace diversity. They introduced additional benefits, including more paid vacation, reproductive coverage for women and ´expanded coverage for our transgender colleagues´, the Times reported. James and Lachlan also poured money into National Geographic, an act that is very important to James, who recently said he deeply
Rep. Keith Ellison did not shy away from placing the blame on former President Obama for the Democratic Party’s recent losses. At a University of Minnesota event Wednesday, moderator Rachel Stassen-Berger asked Ellison if he thought the former president “was responsible for some of the failures of 2016.” “Yeah, he was,” Ellison replied. While he noted that he is supportive of Obama and many of his policies, he acknowledged he “could have been a better party leader” –and that, he said, has “put his legacy in jeopardy.” “Your legacy is not a building that he’s going to construct in Chicago housing his presidential papers,”
Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld hosted the last installment of The Factor tonight and had the following to say on this “strange and historic day”: “In the Back of the Book segment tonight, we have come to the last line of the last page of this book. As most of you know, this is the final Factor. It has been an honor to sit in this chair over the years of filling in for Bill O’Reilly and to being a guest for the most influential television news program in history. But as the curtain comes down on this
California officials reacted with defiance Friday to a threat by federal officials to withhold some $20 million in criminal justice grants from the state and its counties as part of the dispute over so-called sanctuary city policies. “It has become abundantly clear that Atty. Gen. [Jeff] Sessions and the Trump administration are basing their law enforcement policies on principles of white supremacy — not American values,” Senate leader Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) said in a statement. “Their constant and systematic targeting of diverse cities and states goes beyond constitutional norms and will be challenged at every level.” De León’s
Months before Donald Trump blew up American politics with his surprise win in November, he did the same thing to the conservative media. Through much of the campaign, two very different media moguls with colliding visions for the Republican Party vied for Trump’s soul: Roger Ailes, the longtime president and CEO of Fox News, and Steve Bannon, the executive chairman of the populist online tabloid Breitbart. Both were angling to be the media Svengali whispering in Trump’s ear. At one point, it seemed they might have been allies: Bannon worked to insinuate himself at Fox, and Ailes’ network aired some
Federal agents arrested a second doctor and his wife Friday in a widening conspiracy involving female genital mutilation and members of a Muslim sect. Dr. Fakhruddin Attar is accused of letting Dr. Jumana Nagarwala perform mutilations at his Burhani Medical Clinic on Farmington Road. His wife, office manager Farida Attar, also was arrested and is accused of helping Nagarwala perform the mutilations, according to a 14-page complaint unsealed Friday in federal court. The arrests are the latest development in the nation’s first female genital mutilation case, which is providing insight into a small, insular Muslim community in Metro Detroit and
Washington The FBI gathered intelligence last summer that suggests Russian operatives tried to use Trump advisers, including Carter Page, to infiltrate the Trump campaign, according to US officials. The new information adds to the emerging picture of how the Russians tried to influence the 2016 election, not only through email hacks and propaganda but also by trying to infiltrate the Trump orbit. The intelligence led to an investigation into the coordination of Trump´s campaign associates and the Russians. These officials made clear they don´t know whether Page was aware the Russians may have been using him. Because of the way
Amid investigations into Russian election interference, perhaps we ought to consider whether the Kremlin, to hurt Democrats, helped put Chelsea Clinton on the cover of Variety. Or maybe superstition explains it. Like tribesmen laying out a sacrifice to placate King Kong, news outlets continue to make offerings to the Clinton gods. (Snip) One wishes to calm these publications: You can stop this now. Haven’t you heard that the great Kong is no more? Nevertheless, they’ve persisted. At great cost: increased Chelsea exposure is tied closely to political despair and, in especially intense cases, the bulk purchasing of MAGA hats. So
A Harvard University office devoted to LGBT issues reportedly has issued a flier telling students that gender identity can change as frequently as “day to day.” The flier from the Ivy League schools BGLTQ Student Life office, headlined “Get the facts about gender diversity,” informs readers that “Sex assigned at birth and gender identity are not necessarily the same,” Campus Reform reported Thursday. The flyer adds that “gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, hormonal makeup, physical anatomy, and/or how one is perceived in daily life.” The document also seems to categorize speech that challenges or disagrees with transgenderism as “violence.” “Transphobic misinformation is a
Steel yourselves. Barack Obama’s about to emerge from the shadows — and first stop, University of Chicago. Why there? No doubt, it’s one of the more receptive breeding grounds for his particular brand of activism — the activism he’ll be touting to malleable student-age minds while engaging in, as his people called it, a “conversation about community organizing and civic engagement.” Make no mistake about it. This is about teaching the upcoming generation, loud as it already is about all topics that offend, to get even louder, even Leftist Prouder, and to — here’s the gist — use that Leftist
Tucker Carlson is moving to the much-coveted 8 pm time slot on Fox News on Monday, and with it comes news from Fox today that his first big interview will be with none other than Caitlyn Jenner. Per Fox News, Carlson and Jenner will speak on issues including “President Donald Trump’s administration, the current political climate and divide in America, as well as her thoughts on how to bring Americans together.” Jenner is returning to 20/20 tonight to speak once again with Diane Sawyer, and her appearance on Fox News Monday comes after Jenner’s comments to Sawyer about how while
A growing number of conservative commentators are calling on President Donald Trump to use the California National Guard to escort author Ann Coulter onto the University of California, Berkeley campus when she speaks next week. Though California Governor Jerry Brown commands the California National Guard, President Trump has the power to federalize it — just as President Dwight D. Eisenhower federalized the Arkansas National Guard in 1957 to integrate public schools. (The same Arkansas troops who had once blocked black students then escorted the students to school.) Coulter was invited by the Berkeley College Republicans to speak on April 27. When Berkeley
The Obamas have been taking a much-deserved break from politics since moving out of the White House. But next week, it´s back to reality. President Barack Obama will be in Chicago on Monday to discuss community organization and civic engagement. As we all know, the Obamas have impeccable taste in food, so it wouldn´t be surprising to see the former president surveying the Chicago dining scene when he returns stateside. Will he visit the renowned Alinea? Or return to an old Obama favorite, Spiaggia? Last September, my husband and I had a chance run-in with Barack and Michelle, who were in New York City for their last visit as
When we study racial inequality, we tend to consider factors that affect people while they are awake. Differential access to safe neighborhoods with good schools, decent jobs and unbalanced treatment by police and the courts surely have much to do with the stubborn disparities in wealth and well-being among blacks and whites, in particular. Yet it may be just as important to consider what happens when we’re asleep. Race shapes our sleep, a relationship that has surprising roots deep in our national past. African Americans suffer from a “sleep gap”: Fewer black people are able to sleep for the recommended
A review of Donald Trump´s business career would lead one to say that he has always over-promised and under-delivered. Whether his long list of bankruptcies in the ever-profitable casino business, the failures of his "university,´ steak, vodka or clothing lines, there has been a history of putting himself first, while ignoring the needs of his constituents. We may be seeing that play out in his approach to government, as well. As in business, Trump has a constituency of one … himself … just ask his stock and bond investors, his suppliers, contractors, laborers, or even his customers. Unlike Trump, they rarely,
American Airlines suspended a flight attendant after an altercation on Friday in which the attendant took a stroller from a woman traveling with two young children and then argued with other passengers. The episode was captured, in part, on video. The encounter, at San Francisco International Airport, occurred while the woman was boarding a Texas-bound flight. The attendant, whose name was not released by the airline, grabbed the stroller from the woman, who was carrying 15-month-old twins, a passenger who was nearby said.
Outraged Muslims are reportedly planning a May 1 demonstration at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The company is under fire after several Muslim security guards demanded time and space to pray five times a day, while on the job. The guards contend in a lawsuit filed this week that the subcontractor who employs them does not appropriately accommodate their faith and retaliates against those who speak out. The Service Employees International Union and the guards allege that Amazon grants high-earning tech workers conference rooms to pray in, but they do not provide the same accommodation for contracted security officers
WASHINGTON — The day before he upended the 2016 election, James B. Comey, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, summoned agents and lawyers to his conference room. They had been debating all day, and it was time for a decision. Mr. Comey’s plan was to tell Congress that the F.B.I. had received new evidence and was reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton, the presidential front-runner. The move would violate the policies of an agency that does not reveal its investigations or do anything that may influence an election. But Mr. Comey had declared the case closed, and he believed
Fox News may have sent former CEO Roger Ailes packing in July of last year, but that has not slowed down the female employees at the network who have come forward alleging that they were sexually harassed by the disgraced executive. Another woman´s name was added to that list on Sunday, when CNN host Alisyn Camerota decided to break her silence and speak out, claiming that she too was one of Ailes´ victims. ´Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me,´ Camerota announced during an appearance in ´Reliable Sources.´ Camerota, 50, worked at Fox News for 16 years before moving over
The September 2016 article in Politico championing Hillary Clinton’s use of "data analytics" now looks—how shall we put it?—rather premature. Politico swooned that computer algorithms "underlie nearly all of the Clinton campaign´s most important strategic decisions." Computer guru Elan Kriegel had crunched the numbers for campaign manager Robby Mook, allowing Team Clinton to precisely target her potential voters and thus not waste one dime on appealing to the deplorables. "Clintonites saw it as their secret weapon in building an insurmountable delegate lead over Bernie Sanders," Politico reported. And come the general election the Clintonistas were downright giddy about the edge Big Data
This week’s edition of Time Magazine named former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to its list of the 100 Most Influential People. The list breaks down the chosen 100 into five categories: Pioneers, Artists, Leaders, Titans, and Icons. Kaepernick appears in the Icons group. In the Time Magazine profile, former SF 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh praised the controversial quarterback’s protest last year of the Star Spangled Banner, “when he boldly and courageously confronted perceived inequalities in our social-justice system by refusing to stand for the national anthem.” Harbaugh made no mention of Kaepernick’s penchant for wearing socks denigrating law
Former President Barack Obama may not be making an endorsement in France´s upcoming presidential election, but his former deputy national security adviser is warning that a win for right-wing leader Marine Le Pen would be "devastating." "A Le Pen victory would be devastating to any mainstream definition of US interests and values since WWII," Ben Rhodes said in a tweet Saturday. (Tweet) Rhodes´ warning is quite a bit more drastic than the measured statement former President Barack Obama´s spokesman put out last week about his conversation with another French candidate, Emmanuel Macron. While Obama did not endorse Macron, spokesman Kevin
The Trump administration put nine of the country’s top sanctuary cities on notice Friday that they could soon have to give up some federal funds unless they can prove they are no longer thwarting Homeland Security’s efforts to deport illegal immigrants. The entire state of California is being targeted, as are the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cook County in Illinois and Miami-Dade County in Florida round out the list. In letters to each of the nine jurisdictions the Justice Department said they signed documents last year, when they applied for Byrne
What could possibly motivate Maxine Waters to claim twice that she never called for Donald Trump´s impeachment when the video evidence is so compelling? It is one thing for conservative websites to call her out, but even MSNBC, the broadcast leader in Trump-hatred, is taking notice of the absolute falsity of her claim. Yesterday, in an on-air discussion among Hallie Jackson, Craig Melvin, and Mark Murray, the California congresswoman was explicitly called out for her denial of reality: JACKSON: "... pretty strong words from somebody else on the other side of the aisle. Maxine Waters, right? The congresswoman [indecipherable] during that interview
