Comey confirms FBI probing
Russia-Trump team links,
disputes wiretap claim

Fox News, by Judson Berger & Serafin Gomez

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/20/2017 12:08:50 PM

FBI Director James Comey, in an extraordinary House hearing meant to clear the air on a host of allegations relating to the 2016 campaign, confirmed publicly for the first time Monday that the bureau is probing Russian meddling in the race including possible “links” to the Trump team – while disputing the president’s claim that his predecessor wiretapped him. The FBI director was called to testify alongside National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers for a public session of the House intelligence committee. Comey’s testimony could serve to fuel tensions with the White House, which maintains there’s no evidence of Trump-Russia

Comments:
I just don´t trust anything about this guy. The grandstanding was so bad by the little crapweasel Adam Schiff and the rest of the Democrats that I put it on mute. It was just too irritating to listen to. This entire hearing is a sham, a joke and utter waste of time.

Wouldn´t one of the first things that the FBI would do if it was probing a potential illegal act is wiretap the targets of the investigation?

They are still parsing words! No, Obama did´t personally connect a wire to Trumps trunk Line! Did he use info obtained by other agencies? No one says "no!"

#2 hits it on the head. No one has come forward to categorically, in one word, deny that 0bama received/utilized intelligence illegally obtained by organizations outside the jurisdiction of US law and US courts. They are pulling a series Clintonisms (depends on what is is) on us. I would like to see Trey Gowdy cross examine Comey.

Of course Obama didn´t wiretap Trump but the FBI probably did. If not, where did the leaks come from? It was from somewhere in the Executive Branch. Of course Comey won´t discuss an ongoing case but was more than happy to divulge info about their investigation into Russian meddling. This Director needs to be replaced.

Totally agree with calls for stinky to testify. No wonder he sashayed off to Tahiti -- clearly not just for the bathhouses.

Comey can only keep his finger in the dyke for so long. Sooner or later -- likely later, what with the chickenhearted two-timing repubs and downright wicked dems fouling the swamp even as it drains -- but sooner or later it will all come out.

I am sure that everyone noticed the Wiesel wording in his statement, " the FBI has no information that Obama was tapping President Trump´s phone lines".

So they handed it off to the NSA, CIA or some other nefarious group within the spook world.

I don´t trust this man or his organization at all. Its time to remove him from office.

Comey isn’t really saying anything did or didn’t happen. “…I have no evidence”.

And other things bring his response that he cannot talk about them. The Dems are pushing him to make or confirm their ugly allegations about Trump and/or his people - thus they just keep on getting these allegations into the record.

They are working very hard to make a case based upon news reports and their own speculation, conjecture and masses of innuendo. They are trying PDJT&Co in a one-sided presentation.

Of course the Rebublicans will never ask but the first question of Comey should be why? What evidence was presented to convince Comey and the Obabmi administration FBI to begin an investigation of Trump? And the second is, Mr. Comey, the FBI was so skilled that it didn´t detect a breach on Hitlery´s totally unsecured sever. How can we have faith that the FBI can detect a breach of sophisticated goobernment computers being hacked by the most sophisticated Russian hackers?

One question that should be asked is: if the current investigation is to determine Russian involvement in the 2016 election, why is the focus only on the Trump campaign and not on all campaigns, including Hillary´s or Steins. If the investigation is to determine Russian activity, why is it limited to claimed Russian-Trump collusion. Also, Comey never answered what causes an investigation to be initiated and what the reason was for an investigation of "Russia-Trump collusion" when the former DNI, Clapper said there was no evidence of such collusion.

Just because Mr. Comey said that he has no knowledge that President Trump or his team were the subjects of electronic monitoring and surveillance during the run up to the election, after the election, and even now, does not mean that such activities did not go on and are still not going on. As Comey also confirmed that the FBI is currently conducting a criminal investigation targeting members of the Trump team involving their suspected collusion with the Russians to upend the election to Trump´s benefit.

Any of those undercover tactics that were accomplished during the Obama presidency had to have been done in Obama´s name as he was the President upon whose desk the responsibility buck always stops. You would have to either be completely politically partisan or completely stupid to believe that the FBI under the control of Loretta Lynch was conducting a politically charged criminal investigation involving President Elect Trump without President Obama being briefed by Lynch, giving his thumbs up, and being made aware of what was going on. Obviously they thought that Hillary Clinton would win the election and that everything got to do with such an investigation would be buried for National Security" purposes. However it did not work out that way.

As far as the British intelligence Service cooperation with the CIA and the FBI, that connection and the proceeds of such a connection will always be denied by all parties involved.

The questioning tries to cast doubt on Tillerson and Bannon. Anything to try to disable the Trump Administration.

There is something very wrong with Comey. His actions are way to mixed and confusing. Little bits of information, half-truths, non-denials released first seeming to support one side then the other. Almost like he is trolling for the best offer, or reminding both sides he can either make or break them. I would not be surprised if eventually both sides deide they can finally work together on something, the elimination of Comey as a factor.

The teenage illegal immigrants charged with raping a 14-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Maryland public high school last week entered the United States under an Obama program that’s accommodated tens of thousands of Central American youths who crossed the Mexican border. The administration coined them Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) and portrayed them as innocent, desperate kids fleeing violence and famine in their homeland. Most are from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala and the influx has overwhelmed border agents, government health agencies and military bases that serve as shelters not to mention public schools nationwide. Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News. Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News. The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President

Last night on his eponymous Fox News program, Tucker Carlson interviewed David Moyse, an attorney hired to defend 18 year-old Henry Sanchez-Milian, who is in this country illegally, against a charge of rape against a 14 year old girl in a bathroom at a Rockville, MD, high school. Moyse is one of those youngish (in his 30s) lawyers who gets himself on lists of up-and-comers, like this one, and is a name partner in a criminal defense firm.In going on TV to make the case for his client, Counselor Moyse found himself being cross-examined and saying something he soon had

Donald Trump had heard enough about policy and process. It was Thursday afternoon and members of the House Freedom Caucus were peppering the president with wonkish concerns about the American Health Care Act—the language that would leave Obamacare’s “essential health benefits” in place, the community rating provision that limited what insurers could charge certain patients, and whether the next two steps of Speaker Paul Ryan’s master plan were even feasible—when Trump decided to cut them off."Forget about the little "stuff", Trump said, according to multiple sources in the room. "Let´s focus on the big picture here."The group of roughly 30

Broken promises are as old as politics itself, and there are many famous examples of them in modern history. President George H.W. Bush´s "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge comes immediately to mind, as does President Bill Clinton reneging on his middle-class tax cut, and President Barack Obama never closing Guantanamo Bay. But in each of those cases, those were promises that were made in a given campaign by a given politician. The promise of Obamacare repeal is much different. Republicans ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, over the course of four election cycles. They won the

We live in a time of “fake news” awareness, so you’d think that someone at the Los Angeles Times would know better than to publish a headline like this: “Just like her mother, Chelsea Clinton never gets a break” Let’s leave the aside the reference to Hillary Clinton, who magically was able to turn $1,000 into $100,000 in cattle futures with no regulatory consequence and delete 30,000 evidentiary emails without prosecution. Or a break. Chelsea is being groomed for political power, and all the powers of modern propaganda are being mobilized to convince voters that she has some claim to

(Video)Maryland’s governor said Friday he cannot promise parents of children in Montgomery County schools, where a freshman high school student was allegedly raped by two older teenagers, that their children will be safe. Republican Gov. Larry Hogan’s remarks came as the assault last Thursday by two immigrants, at least one of whom is in the U.S. illegally, has become a flashpoint for parents worried that the county’s “sanctuary” status for illegal immigrants exposes their school children to danger.“I’m not sure I can give assurances that their children will be safe,” he said. What he did give assurances about, however, was that he

Brexit was caused in part by climate change, former US Vice-President Al Gore has said, warning that extreme weather is creating political instability “the world will find extremely difficult to deal with”. Mr Gore, speaking at an event in which he previewed a sequel to his landmark 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, said the “principal” cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities. There they met a similar number of Iraqis who had fled the conflict in their homeland, creating powder keg conditions
