On the same day that President Trumps´ favoribility rating sank to an all-time low, a new poll found that a majority of young Americans view his presidency as illegitimate. Fifty-seven percent of adults age 18 to 30 believe that President Trump is an ´illegitimate´ leader according to a GenForward poll conducted by the Black Youth Project at the University of Chicago with The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Among young adults of color, 74 percent of African Americans and 71 percent of Latinos/as view Trump´s presidency as ´illegitimate´, while a majority of whites (53 percent) view Trump as a ´legitimate´

Most of the dipwads questioned probably didn´t vote or register to vote so this is a stupid poll.
If they knew what a great country this was in the fifties and early sixties they would know the difference between then and now and what Trump is doing.

Propaganda works. Clinton lied to Congress and the American people so Bush had to become a liar. Obama with multiple ssn´s and his own marketing brochure proclaiming his Kenyan origins, sealed records, brought about very real questions regarding his legitimacy to hold the office. Therefore Trump must also become illegitimate.

So I went online to find the methodology used. This is not a sample of young American adults. The authors do not claim it to be. It oversamples non-whites and grossly undersamples whites and they do not claim it is a poll of the total population in the study. Now looking at their methodology, I think it has many of the same problems that other polls have- mainly that people self-select for polls. By far most people say no and who says no is not at all clear to be the same sample as the people who say yes to a survey. So more fake news. As to my family, all three children view Trump as legitimate president- one voted for him and two didn´t. OUt of the two that didn´t, one is willing to give him a chance and actually likes lots of parts of his actions so far and even the one who doesn´t like most of his actions, likes some of them.

For five decades, Democrat political leaders have been pumping poisonous disinformation into the heads of Black Americans in our inner cities. Dems are now telling them that Republicans´ efforts to promote school choice (which 2/3 of inner city parents support) is an attempt to "re-segregate" schools. (The last thing Democrats want is well educated inner city residents.)

I do believe that it is past time that Republicans begin a multi-pronged and well organized effort to work to pump truth into our inner city communities.

#36 the liberal Democrats have to do that to maintain their political power as if the racial divide in the country ever closed the vast majority of Black folks would stop voting for the liberal Democrats. As once those Black folks all had jobs and were earning their own money they would no longer vote for the Democrats who propose higher taxes at every turn. The leftist Democrats know that and it is a big reason who the Democrats are now pandering to the identifiable Hispanic minority group along with a new emerging foreign origin Muslim identifiable minority group to ensure that they can maintain big enough needy minority voter constitutencies to keep them in political power.

From their Own Website:

"The GenForward Survey is the first of its kind—a nationally representative survey of over 1750 young adults ages 18-30 conducted monthly that pays special attention to how race and ethnicity shape how respondents experience and think about the world."

I´m pretty sure this poll doesn´t tap any of my Sa´ami ethnicity relatives, nor the Galicians, nor the Somalians, nor even ~ most likely, not a one of the Aragonese.

But it purports to be a vehicle for examining how "race and ethnicity" shape experience?

They have an elemental problem ~ they do not know what race nor ethnicity is, but likely they are really down on 57 gender stuff.

A recent feature story there is titled "Why I’m tired of white gay men telling q---r stories"

Jeremy Corbyn has a lower approval rating among Britons than Donald Trump, according to a poll. Just 17 per cent of the public believe the Labour leader is performing well, the research by GfK found. By contrast 18 per cent think the US president is doing a good job. There was a crumb of comfort in that his disapproval rating was marginally lower than Mr Trump´s, at 58 per cent to 60 per cent. But the result underlines the scale of the task Mr Corbyn faces in order to turn around Labour´s fortunes.

While the media highlight the two men’s disagreement, the underlying truth about their concerns has been ignored. With the words "credibility questioned" prominent on the screen, Scott Pelley once again is doing what network evening-news anchors generally don´t do: abandoning careful neutrality in favor of pointed truth-telling. He is talking Thursday night about President Trump. And here are some of the words he is using: "his boasting and tendency to believe conspiracy theories." It´s nothing new. Pelley, of CBS Evening News, has set himself apart — especially in recent weeks — with a spate of such assessments, night after night. Perhaps the most notable one, on Feb. 7, went like this: "It has been a busy day

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday stepped up his criticism of House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to replace him. "Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes," the Senate minority leader said from the floor. "If Speaker Ryan wants the House to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace Chairman Nunes." Nunes caused an uproar last week when he told the press that he had seen intelligence showing that members of President Trump´s transition team had been caught up in surveillance operations — without first discussing the information with fellow committee members. He later

Ted Koppel had some harsh words for Fox News host Sean Hannity this morning. In a CBS ´Sunday Morning´ segment, the veteran news journalist said he thinks Hannity, a Fox News commentator, is ´bad for America´. (Snip) Hannity then called Koppel ´cynical,´ which Koppel affirmed. Hannity asked: ´Do you think we´re bad for America? You think I´m bad for America?´ Koppel said ´yes´ and that ´in the long haul´ such ´influential´ talk shows as Hannity´s hurt the American people. Koppel added: ´You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts.´ Hannity said that Koppel´s rebuke

Is a guaranteed paycheck from the government, with no strings attached, the answer to the relentless rise of automation? The concept might sound far-fetched, but a so-called universal basic income (UBI), is currently one of the most hotly debated policy topics being floated as a means to address income inequality and the disruption that technology poses to the workforce. UBI is being tested in Finland and other international markets, but has received decidedly mixed reactions. Meanwhile, developments in robotics and artificial intelligence have grave implications for the labor force. A report issued this week from consulting firm PwC found that

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past. Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries. “Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said. He said he’s carrying out a policy laid out by the Obama administration last year,

Mental genius Chelsea Clinton made a complete a** of herself once again this past weekend. Someone really needs to keep her away from the computers without supervision. Via Newsbusters— The Republican Party of Palm Beach County put President Lincoln in a #MAGA hat this year for its Lincoln Day Dinner. (Snip) An alarmed Chelsea Clinton, a graduate of Oxford University, asked her followers if the image was photoshopped! What a dunce. The responses to Chelsea’s tweets were EPIC! “No, this is the exact hat Lincoln was wearing when he signed the Emancipation Proclamation. People forget that.” “Nope, Lincoln was wearing that exact hat at the Theater.” “Nope,

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer said Sunday that Democrats are ready to work with President Trump to fix Obamacare if Republicans abandon their drive to repeal the law. The New York Democrat made the offer in the wake of Friday’s decision by Mr. Trump and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan to pull the GOP bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act or ACA. The bill lacked enough Republican support to pass, including many defectors among conservatives. Democrats formed a united front against the effort. “We Democrats, provided our Republican colleagues drop [repeal and

The first cocktail party at Barack Obama’s new office last month was certainly more casual than any he had hosted in recent years. The wine bore a random assortment of labels, as if assembled potluck-style. The self-serve appetizers were set out in the narrow hallway. The host, tieless, eschewed formal remarks, as a few dozen of his old administration officials — Joe Biden and former chief of staff Denis McDonough, as well as more junior ones — mingled in a minimalist wood-paneled suite that could be mistaken for a boutique law firm. “It was a bit of a shock to

The Washington Post detailed the House GOP’s fight over the ObamaCare repeal and replacement plan this week, rounding up the dramatic details of leadership’s fight to win support for the measure. At one point, the paper said, House Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.) got down on one knee to plead with Rep. Don Young of Alaska – the longest-serving Republican in Congress -- to support the bill. (He was unsuccessful.) The moments highlighted by the Post during the Republican conference negotiations show what a tough battle Ryan and his deputies faced in whipping the vote. But they also show the fierce support
