ABC News reporter Terry Moran told the Sunday panel this morning that President Donald Trump is a laughingstock in the capitals of Europe. Obama flooded the continent with millions of third world illiterate migrants but TRUMP is the laughingstock. These are the things that keep liberals up at night. (Photo) Breitbart.com reported: Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing President Donald Trump’s tweets accusing former President Obama’s administration of wiretapping Trump Tower prior to the election, ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Terry Moran said the White House was “a laughingstock in the capitals of Europe.’ Partial transcript as follows: MORAN:
The media clowns keep trying to drag Trump down to their level but Trump keeps showing us that they are clowns.
I think the capitals of Europe are trembling because Trump is completely unwilling to prop up their socialism any more. They are unraveling and Hillary was their chance to keep up the facade. Now they face Brexit and new imminent collapses of Greece and other countries. They are not going to be able to kick the can down the road any more.
My feeling for a while has been "here we go again". This time we may not be called to save the rest of Europe from the Germans, but to save the entirety of Europe from Germany´s insane decisions. While at the same time, we will be fighting the same enemy here at home. Who do we call when the shtuff hits the fan?? Perhaps Japan, but they´ve got lot on their plate at the moment. It´s getting real old, really, really, old. When all´s said and done, we get laughed at, mocked and shat on for being the "good guys" again, it never takes too long. What are we supposed to do? Leave Europe to the Barbarians? We know they won´t stop there. Putin - is he really a possible ally in all of this? The one thing we can be thankful for - even though he started all this crap - is that Obama is not President. Although he´s trying to be with his little "shadow government" game. Lord help us.
Let them laugh, they will until they see the seriousness of the situation. Then they´ll come begging for help. Then they´ll laugh at us again. Not much of a choice, eh?
I doubt that this is true. But I still remember massive members of the MSM laughing at Trump’s run for the Office he now holds. So I guess if it is true then we have more of the same and he will again laugh last.
Think about it. Every time one of these hypocrites say something about Trump, they are actually describing Obama. Obama was the laughing stock all over the world. Syria, Russia, and Iran all made fools of that bag of bones. Every Obama policy has been a total disaster. Why do you think he refuses to release his college grades. Without a script the man´s as dumb as a rock. Got it.
Laughing past the graveyard seems like an appropriate statement in this case. Are they laughing as their countries are being overrun by migrants or as the EU seems to be fractioning with other countries wanting a way out. We weep for you.
It´s true -- the White House is a laughingstock and general travesty over there. Their reaction reminds me of a line from Medieval Lit regarding an epic battle -- "A hundred thousand Frenchmen swooned." But I´m getting used to us being an outrage. Let them think what they want.
Ever since L. Frank Baum’s works started passing into the public domain in 1956, any number of adaptations and reinterpretations have appeared, from the 1978 filming of the Broadway musical The Wiz to Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked, and down to the confusing 2017 television series Emerald City. But the fact that a text is royalty-free doesn’t exempt authors from the ordinary courtesy of acknowledging their source material. The political reporters Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes ought to be ashamed that they didn’t mention where they’d found the plot for their new book, Shattered. In the early pages of Shattered,
Kori Ali Muhammad, suspected of killing four people in Fresno, California, this week during a racially motivated shooting spree, entered a courtroom Friday shouting racially charged demands. “Let black people go in reparations,” Muhammad screamed twice. He also warned that natural disasters in America will increase, ABC News reports. The outbursts prompted Muhammad’s lawyer, Eric Christensen, to tell the judge he believes his client “may not be mentally competent to proceed.” Fresno County Superior Court Judge W. Kent Hamlin obliged and ordered that a doctor examine Muhammad. CBS News published raw footage of the rant: (Video) The 39-year-old suspect has been
There could not be a better example of liberal media double standards than the kerfuffle over former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin posing in front of Hillary Clinton’s White House portrait (as First Lady) with rock stars Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. The ladies of The View had their knickers in a knot. “You’re in the White House. Bring a little class with you!” sniffed Sara Haines as her co-hosts agreed in one way or another. Really? Really? Clearly The View crew (not to mention Palin’s critics) seem to have forgotten this story as recounted back in 2012 in Philadelphia Magazine.
President Trump awarded a Purple Heart to a wounded service member during a Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday. During the short ceremony, the president placed the Purple Heart on the right lapel of Sgt. First Class Alvaro Barrientos, according to a pool report. When I heard about this and I wanted to do this, myself," Trump said, thanking the service member. Trump´s wife Melania was also in attendance. Barrientos was recently injured while deployed in Afghanistan and for the wounds he sustained, he received the Purple Heart, a White House official said. Barrientos´ wife Tammy was also
President Trump announces a rally in Harrisburg Pennsylvania for Saturday April 29th at 7:30pm. In addition to being the 100th day of the Trump administration, it is also the same night as the self-congratulating White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC. Too funny. Subtle, like a brick through a window. (Tweet) President Trump was at this venue for a rally almost exactly a year ago. April 21st 2016 (Photo)
Democratic lawmakers and activists cheered Earth Day in rainy Washington, D.C., on Saturday at the "March for Science." Organizers of the event told the Washington Examiner´s Robert King that the march would not function as an anti-Trump demonstration, but many of President Trump´s vocal critics made their voices heard via the march anyway. "Science is the pursuit of truth for the public interest," tweeted Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, former Democratic Party vice presidential candidate in 2016. "Pres Trump can´t dismiss this fact, or all those marching today #MarchForScience." Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy trained his sights on the government in a
The tourists milling around outside Buckingham Palace stared in amazement as the Queen Mother walked through its gates following an impromptu stroll from her home at nearby Clarence House. I was as surprised as anyone that she had made the journey on foot. As her equerry — a glorified word for fixer and organiser — I had advised her that unexpectedly heavy traffic meant it would be impossible for her to make a planned lunch engagement at the Palace on time and suggested that we should put it off. ‘Nonsense,’ she had announced. ‘We’ll just have to walk.’ And so
A few weeks ago I was watching a segment on "Fox & Friends" about Christie Brinkley, at age 63, rocking a swimsuit on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She appeared flawless. Beautiful long, blonde hair – gorgeous smile. Her face was glowing with youth. Her arms looked toned and tanned. She looked half her age. “I’ll have what she’s having, please!” I yelled out from the back of the studio to my friends Ainsley, Steve and Brian. I was serious. I wanted to know all her secrets. The producers, realizing this was a pretty big story, booked a dermatologist on
In the midst of ongoing debate about Russia’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and elections in France, former President Barack Obama spoke on the phone with French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron on Thursday. “Former President Barack Obama gently waded back into international politics on Thursday, talking by phone with French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron,” Politico reported. Macron, who, like Obama, favors France’s remaining in the European Union, is in an almost neck-and-neck race with candidate Marine Le Pen ahead of the first round of French elections on Sunday. Obama’s spokesman, however, denied that the phone call and Macron’s
On Monday morning, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to review the case of Michel v. McConnell, where the courts below rejected a citizen’s effort to sue senators for inaction on D.C. Circuit Chief Judge Merrick Garland’s nomination to the Supreme Court. The lower courts’ opinions explain why another controversial dispute, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) v. Donald J. Trump, will also fail—with only days left until the government’s response is due in that case. Disappointed with the process of the Senate’s refusal to hold a vote on Garland’s nomination to the Supreme Court, Steven S. Michel sued
The Washington Post´s E.J. Dionne wrote an opinion article that lectures Donald Trump that he can’t just do what he wants. A few of the examples he gives are that he hasn’t released his tax returns, that White House visitor logs will no longer be made public, that he spends a lot of time at his house in Florida, and that instead of telling the President of Turkey what Dionne wanted him to say he congratulated him for winning (heaven forbid). None of the things Dionne sites in his article violates Trump’s oath of office or the Constitution. Unlike Obama,
A taxpayer-funded high school in North Carolina has come under criticism from local parents because a history teacher gave students a blatantly racist assignment involving a bomb shelter and an impending nuclear war. The unidentified teacher distributed the assignment at Olympic High School in Charlotte, reports local CBS affiliate WBTV. The assignment — called “Bomb Shelter Activity” — forces students to use skin color and ethnic background to choose four strangers who will be allowed enter a bomb shelter prior to a nuclear attack. There’s a “40-year-old Black female doctor who is a lesbian,” for example. There’s a “25-year-old Hispanic
Donald Trump has a “dangerous mental illness” and is not fit to lead the US, a group of psychiatrists has warned during a conference at Yale University. Mental health experts claimed the President was “paranoid and delusional”, and said it was their “ethical responsibility” to warn the American public about the “dangers” Mr Trump’s psychological state poses to the country. (Snip) James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, told the conference he had worked some of the “most dangerous people in society”, including murderers and rapists — but that he was convinced by the “dangerousness” of Mr
The Obamas have been taking a much-deserved break from politics since moving out of the White House. But next week, it´s back to reality. President Barack Obama will be in Chicago on Monday to discuss community organization and civic engagement. As we all know, the Obamas have impeccable taste in food, so it wouldn´t be surprising to see the former president surveying the Chicago dining scene when he returns stateside. Will he visit the renowned Alinea? Or return to an old Obama favorite, Spiaggia? Last September, my husband and I had a chance run-in with Barack and Michelle, who were in New York City for their last visit as
Tucker Carlson is moving to the much-coveted 8 pm time slot on Fox News on Monday, and with it comes news from Fox today that his first big interview will be with none other than Caitlyn Jenner. Per Fox News, Carlson and Jenner will speak on issues including “President Donald Trump’s administration, the current political climate and divide in America, as well as her thoughts on how to bring Americans together.” Jenner is returning to 20/20 tonight to speak once again with Diane Sawyer, and her appearance on Fox News Monday comes after Jenner’s comments to Sawyer about how while
Steel yourselves. Barack Obama’s about to emerge from the shadows — and first stop, University of Chicago. Why there? No doubt, it’s one of the more receptive breeding grounds for his particular brand of activism — the activism he’ll be touting to malleable student-age minds while engaging in, as his people called it, a “conversation about community organizing and civic engagement.” Make no mistake about it. This is about teaching the upcoming generation, loud as it already is about all topics that offend, to get even louder, even Leftist Prouder, and to — here’s the gist — use that Leftist
A Chicago artist has finished his mural of Michelle Obama in a colorful image that features the former first lady as an Egyptian queen. The painting by artist Chris Devins was completed Friday on the southeast corner of Chappel Avenue and 74th Street in South Shore. That´s two blocks from the former first lady´s childhood home at 7436 S. Euclid Ave. and across the street from Bouchet Elementary, which she attended when it was known as Bryn Mawr School. "I wanted to present her as what I think she is, so she´s clothed as an Egyptian queen. I thought that was appropriate,"
A Harvard University office devoted to LGBT issues reportedly has issued a flier telling students that gender identity can change as frequently as “day to day.” The flier from the Ivy League schools BGLTQ Student Life office, headlined “Get the facts about gender diversity,” informs readers that “Sex assigned at birth and gender identity are not necessarily the same,” Campus Reform reported Thursday. The flyer adds that “gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, hormonal makeup, physical anatomy, and/or how one is perceived in daily life.” The document also seems to categorize speech that challenges or disagrees with transgenderism as “violence.” “Transphobic misinformation is a
Outraged Muslims are reportedly planning a May 1 demonstration at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The company is under fire after several Muslim security guards demanded time and space to pray five times a day, while on the job. The guards contend in a lawsuit filed this week that the subcontractor who employs them does not appropriately accommodate their faith and retaliates against those who speak out. The Service Employees International Union and the guards allege that Amazon grants high-earning tech workers conference rooms to pray in, but they do not provide the same accommodation for contracted security officers
By his twenties, Kyle Kaylor imagined he would be living on his own, nearing a college degree, and on his way to a job that fulfilled him. Instead, at 21, he found himself out of school, living with his parents, and "stuck" working as a manager at a fast food restaurant scraping to make hand-to-mouth. Launching into adulthood has been tricky, he said. "It became too difficult financially to be in school and not working," says Kaylor, who dropped out of Lincoln Christian University, in Illinois, after one semester because of a money crunch. "And without schooling, you can´t get a job that
Former Vermont governor and Democratic National Comittee chairman Howard Dean called out conservative pundit Ann Coulter on Twitter. (Snip) The comment was in response to a former New York Times reporter who tweeted, "Free Speech Defenders Don´t Forget: Ann Coulter once said: My only regret w/ Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times building." The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that "fighting words" are not constitutionally protected, meaning that the words would have to directly incite violence. Timothy McVeigh was an American terrorist responsible for the Oklahoma City bombings that killed 168 people and injured
The day before Bill O´Reilly was cut loose from Fox News after 20 years with the network, his handlers appeared to believe they had at least one more card to pull that might help save his job in the midst of a sexual harassment scandal engulfing the top-rated prime time host.On Tuesday, O´Reilly and his legal team debated whether to share with the leadership of parent company 21st Century Fox an April 13 email from Mary Pat Bonner, a Democratic fundraiser and ally of the liberal watchdog group Media Matters, which had spearheaded what she called an "advertiser education campaign"
Former President Barack Obama will make his first public appearance Monday, hosting an event on civic engagement on his old stomping grounds at the University of Chicago. The event, open to the public but with limited tickets, will bring together younger leaders and students “for a conversation on community organizing and civic engagement.” It won’t be an explicitly political event. As an Illinois state senator, Obama once represented the neighborhood where the campus is located and also was a law professor at the university. He last stopped by the campus in 2016, using an event at the law school to make a
The September 2016 article in Politico championing Hillary Clinton’s use of "data analytics" now looks—how shall we put it?—rather premature. Politico swooned that computer algorithms "underlie nearly all of the Clinton campaign´s most important strategic decisions." Computer guru Elan Kriegel had crunched the numbers for campaign manager Robby Mook, allowing Team Clinton to precisely target her potential voters and thus not waste one dime on appealing to the deplorables. "Clintonites saw it as their secret weapon in building an insurmountable delegate lead over Bernie Sanders," Politico reported. And come the general election the Clintonistas were downright giddy about the edge Big Data
