ABC News reporter Terry Moran told the Sunday panel this morning that President Donald Trump is a laughingstock in the capitals of Europe. Obama flooded the continent with millions of third world illiterate migrants but TRUMP is the laughingstock. These are the things that keep liberals up at night. (Photo) Breitbart.com reported: Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing President Donald Trump’s tweets accusing former President Obama’s administration of wiretapping Trump Tower prior to the election, ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Terry Moran said the White House was “a laughingstock in the capitals of Europe.’ Partial transcript as follows: MORAN:
The media clowns keep trying to drag Trump down to their level but Trump keeps showing us that they are clowns.
I think the capitals of Europe are trembling because Trump is completely unwilling to prop up their socialism any more. They are unraveling and Hillary was their chance to keep up the facade. Now they face Brexit and new imminent collapses of Greece and other countries. They are not going to be able to kick the can down the road any more.
My feeling for a while has been "here we go again". This time we may not be called to save the rest of Europe from the Germans, but to save the entirety of Europe from Germany´s insane decisions. While at the same time, we will be fighting the same enemy here at home. Who do we call when the shtuff hits the fan?? Perhaps Japan, but they´ve got lot on their plate at the moment. It´s getting real old, really, really, old. When all´s said and done, we get laughed at, mocked and shat on for being the "good guys" again, it never takes too long. What are we supposed to do? Leave Europe to the Barbarians? We know they won´t stop there. Putin - is he really a possible ally in all of this? The one thing we can be thankful for - even though he started all this crap - is that Obama is not President. Although he´s trying to be with his little "shadow government" game. Lord help us.
Let them laugh, they will until they see the seriousness of the situation. Then they´ll come begging for help. Then they´ll laugh at us again. Not much of a choice, eh?
I doubt that this is true. But I still remember massive members of the MSM laughing at Trump’s run for the Office he now holds. So I guess if it is true then we have more of the same and he will again laugh last.
Think about it. Every time one of these hypocrites say something about Trump, they are actually describing Obama. Obama was the laughing stock all over the world. Syria, Russia, and Iran all made fools of that bag of bones. Every Obama policy has been a total disaster. Why do you think he refuses to release his college grades. Without a script the man´s as dumb as a rock. Got it.
Laughing past the graveyard seems like an appropriate statement in this case. Are they laughing as their countries are being overrun by migrants or as the EU seems to be fractioning with other countries wanting a way out. We weep for you.
It´s true -- the White House is a laughingstock and general travesty over there. Their reaction reminds me of a line from Medieval Lit regarding an epic battle -- "A hundred thousand Frenchmen swooned." But I´m getting used to us being an outrage. Let them think what they want.
One person has died and multiple victims have been shot after two gunmen opened fire on revelers inside of a Cincinnati nightclub. Authorities are searching for the two shooters who fled the scene after the incident that happened around 1am at the Cameo Club on Kellogg Avenue in the city. At least 15 people were taken to nearby hospitals after being struck by stray gunfire inside the venue. Detectives described a ´chaotic´ and ´horrific´ crime scene with hundreds of partygoers fleeing for their lives after the shooting began. Senator Orrin Hatch (R., Utah) introduced a bill to the Senate on March 14 that would institute new protections for gun owners who travel across state lines with their firearms. The Lawful Interstate Transportation of Firearms Act, also introduced by Rep. Morgan Griffith (R., Va.) to the House of Representatives in January, would expand and clarify the interstate firearm transportation rules instituted under the Firearms Owners´ Protection Act of 1986. Under that law, Americans are allowed to transport firearms from one state where they can legally possess them to another so long as certain requirements are met, such as the
Shakespeare’s play Othello showcases the most vile character in all of drama -- a man often referred to as “honest Iago.” He is especially horrifying because he is charming, efficient, and intelligent, but mostly because he often breaks the fourth wall, looks the audience right in the eye, and tells us what his next diabolical move will be. We’re in on it whether we want to be or not. He creates chaos just because he can and we are powerless to stop him. Watching the news these days feels much like watching Othello. We listen to the "news" (a word
Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro brought the house down tonight with her fiery monologue calling for Paul Ryan to step down as Speaker of the House. (Photo) Judge Pirro: “Paul Ryan needs to step down as Speaker of the House. The reason? He failed to deliver the votes on his healthcare bill the one to repeal and replace Obamacare. The one that he had seven years to work on. The one he hid under lock and key in the basement of Congress. The one that had to be pulled to prevent the embarrassment of not having enough votes to pass.” Judge
A Make America Great Again rally that began with a dove release to symbolize peace turned violent when supporters were doused with pepper spray by anti-Trump protesters in Southern California. The attack, which led to three arrests, came before the president´s tweet thanking people for rallies. President Trump said on Twitter: ´Thanks you for all of the Trump Rallies today. Amazing support. We will all MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!´ In addition to the scuffle in SoCal, protesters clashed with MAGA marchers in Philadelphia and in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. There were also rallies across the country in places such as
President Donald Trump met with some of America´s most distinguished and decorated war heroes at the White House on Friday afternoon, ahead of Saturday´s official Medal of Honor Day commemoration day. Twenty five Medal of Honor recipients — a third of the living recipients — met with Trump in the Oval Office as he recognized their acts of selfless heroics on the battlefield during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the War in Afghanistan. ´Each of you has risen above and beyond the call of duty in defense of our country, our people, and our flag,´
It is one of the most famous liberal media narratives in American history. On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. For anyone alive in the day — I was in the 7th grade — it was a horrific moment. The America of 1963 was experiencing the beginning turmoil of the Civil Rights movement. There were a handful of military “advisers” in a far off place called Vietnam. But for the most part the country was at peace, its eyes already trained on Thanksgiving, a mere week distant, and the Christmas holidays that would follow.
President Trump tweeted a "thanks you" message to everyone who participated in pro-Trump rallies across the country on Saturday. "Thanks you for all of the Trump Rallies today. Amazing support. We will all MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" Trump tweeted Saturday evening. The president was back at the White House at the time of the tweet, after spending several hours at his golf club in Virginia. (Tweet) Rallies took place in a number of states, including Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In multiple cases, they were confronted by anti-Trump demonstrations. At one rally in Huntington Beach, Calif., several people were arrested after
Violence erupted at a Make America Great Again rally at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach Saturday, video and photos from the scene showed. It is unclear if any arrests have been made, but fights started about an hour into the demonstration. A counter-protester who was wearing a black mask, allegedly pepper-sprayed a woman and one of the organizers of the event, apparently sparking the violence. Punches were thrown while people scuffled in the sand while holding mega phones and flags, video showed. Demonstrators chanted “USA” and “America First” as the crowd grew. The man in the mask was
Uber Technologies Inc. is suspending its self-driving car program after one of its autonomous vehicles was involved in a high-impact crash in Tempe, Arizona, the latest incident for a company reeling from multiple crises. In a photo posted on Twitter, one of Uber’s Volvo self-driving SUVs is pictured on its side next to another car with dents and smashed windows. An Uber spokeswoman confirmed the incident, and the veracity of the photo, and added that the ride-hailing company is suspending its autonomous tests in Arizona until it completes its investigation and pausing its Pittsburgh operations. The Uber vehicle was not
From Air Force One to the Western White House, Jesse Watters is on the move again this weekend. One week after interviewing President Trump aboard the presidential airliner, Jesse took a trip to the historic Reagan Ranch, Rancho del Cielo. (Photo) President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan spent about a year at the California ranch during their eight years in office and the ranch looks just as they left it. "They have all the clothing still hanging up, they have the old-school TVs, the furniture is right out of the 80´s. It was a really special place," said
A Long Island man who served in the Marines and lost both legs below the knees after stepping on a bomb in Afghanistan was sworn in Friday as possibly the first fully active duty double amputee police officer in the country. Matias Ferreira, 28, graduated from the Suffolk County Police Academy in Brentwood, L.I. His first assignment as a precinct patrol officer begins next week. He told Fox 5 New York he isn’t worried if he breaks a leg on the job. “If I break my leg I go the trunk of my car and put on a new one
House Republican leaders abruptly pulled a Republican rewrite of the nation’s health-care system from consideration on Friday, a dramatic acknowledgment that they are so far unable to repeal the Affordable Care Act. “We just pulled it,” President Trump told The Washington Post in a telephone interview. The decision came a day after President Trump delivered an ultimatum to lawmakers — and represented multiple failures for the new president and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.). The decision means the Affordable Care Act remains in place, at least for now, and a major GOP campaign promise goes unfulfilled. It also casts
Republican officials in Congress and the White House are now openly discussing finding a GOP replacement to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as Speaker of the House, after Ryan failed to pass the American Health Care Act out of the House and misled the public and President Donald Trump when he promised repeatedly the bill would pass. Ryan was caught on an audio file from October—obtained by Breitbart News and published a couple weeks ago—saying he is “not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future.” While the audio file does not make the comments clear, Ryan’s staff later claimed
Nearly three months after the Trump clan moved into their new posh Washington neighborhood, neighbors of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have expressed their fury over the presidential family´s lack of community etiquette that is ´ruining´ the suburb. Residents have complained their new neighbors have been hogging parking on an already crowded street and leaving trash bags rotting on the curb. A big part of the complaint: a huge security presence, with even a trip to the playground requiring three vans. They have groused that sidewalks have been closed, public parking overrun and that the family and their staff can´t
BRUSSELS—Republican Senator John McCain revealed he hasn’t met the President Donald Trump in person since he took office, and he urged Trump to reach out to his opponents—Democratic and otherwise—ala Ronald Reagan if he wants to repeal Obamacare. “Do some outreach. Get to know some of these Democratic leaders,” he said. “You can find common ground.” McCain said he’d met Trump “some years ago” when he was a businessman, but had not met him since. McCain said he did speak “almost daily” to National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, however. “He doesn’t seem to
Donald Trump had heard enough about policy and process. It was Thursday afternoon and members of the House Freedom Caucus were peppering the president with wonkish concerns about the American Health Care Act—the language that would leave Obamacare’s “essential health benefits” in place, the community rating provision that limited what insurers could charge certain patients, and whether the next two steps of Speaker Paul Ryan’s master plan were even feasible—when Trump decided to cut them off."Forget about the little "stuff", Trump said, according to multiple sources in the room. "Let´s focus on the big picture here."The group of roughly 30
Broken promises are as old as politics itself, and there are many famous examples of them in modern history. President George H.W. Bush´s "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge comes immediately to mind, as does President Bill Clinton reneging on his middle-class tax cut, and President Barack Obama never closing Guantanamo Bay. But in each of those cases, those were promises that were made in a given campaign by a given politician. The promise of Obamacare repeal is much different. Republicans ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, over the course of four election cycles. They won the
(Video)Maryland’s governor said Friday he cannot promise parents of children in Montgomery County schools, where a freshman high school student was allegedly raped by two older teenagers, that their children will be safe. Republican Gov. Larry Hogan’s remarks came as the assault last Thursday by two immigrants, at least one of whom is in the U.S. illegally, has become a flashpoint for parents worried that the county’s “sanctuary” status for illegal immigrants exposes their school children to danger.“I’m not sure I can give assurances that their children will be safe,” he said. What he did give assurances about, however, was that he
Brexit was caused in part by climate change, former US Vice-President Al Gore has said, warning that extreme weather is creating political instability “the world will find extremely difficult to deal with”. Mr Gore, speaking at an event in which he previewed a sequel to his landmark 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, said the “principal” cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities. There they met a similar number of Iraqis who had fled the conflict in their homeland, creating powder keg conditions
Health Reform: Friday´s decision to pull the American Health Care Act from the House floor because it lacked enough votes to pass was a culmination of months of bad decisions, poor planning, and terrible messaging by the GOP leadership in the House. This failure undermines not only the party´s credibility, but President Trump´s purported ability to "make great deals." Worse, it emboldens the left-wing "resistance." Back in early December, we warned in this space that the Republican´s ObamaCare repeal effort was "off to a bad start." That was when House Speaker Paul Ryan was talking up a "repeal and delay" plan that
It´s the most cunning robocall scam I’ve encountered — and the fact that I’ve fallen for it more than once tells you how successful it can be. The phone rings. You pick it up and say “hello.” There’s a brief silence and then a woman’s voice says, “Oh, hi there!” She offers an embarrassed laugh. “I’m sorry, I was having a little trouble with my headset!”I’ve gotten this call a number of times in recent weeks, at home and at work, and each time I’ve been suckered by the lifelike opening to stay on the line longer than I normally
House Republicans scrapped a vote on their health care replacement plan on Friday after defections from both the right and center that made it clear the bill would not pass. President Trump tried to spin the setback as a defeat for Democrats who wouldn´t cross the aisle to support the bill — despite not making any entreaties to the minority party. Trump — who is the first president to enter office without any political or legislative experience — did seem to admit there was a bit of a learning curve when it came to such a complex issue. "This was an interesting
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday that the defeat of the Republican plan to repeal Obamacare was ´a victory for all Americans.´ The Democrat, who lost to President Donald Trump in the November 8 election, tweeted: ´Today was a victory for the 24,000,000 people at risk of losing their health insurance, for seniors, for families battling the quiet epidemic of addiction, for new moms and women everywhere.´ ´Most of all, it´s a victory for anyone who believes affordable health care is a human right.´ ´We cannot forget: This victory happened because people in every corner of our country committed their
