Incoming Chick-fil-A draws concerns
of some St. Louis Park residents

Star Tribune [Minneapolis, MN], by Miguel Otárola

Five years ago, Chick-fil-A was involved in a major controversy over statements made by the fast-food company that many felt were hostile to those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Now St. Louis Park residents are urging a Chick-fil-A franchise proposed at the Shoppes at Knollwood to operate in a different way. “We just want to make sure that Chick-fil-A was put on notice that we will be monitoring their activities,” said Zaylore Stout, a labor and employment law attorney. (Snip) The group has made several requests of the franchise, including that it consider installing gender-neutral

Liberal tolerance on display: delicious fried chicken sandwiches will be available, but only if they kowtow to a fringe group of deviants who demand, for starters, perv-friendly toilets.

Here we go again....Miguel.

Any statements were made by a private individual who happens to have an ownership stake in Chick-Fil-A.

At no time did the company express any opinion, anti-gay or otherwise.

The ´major´ controversy was drummed up as usual by your media colleagues and was derived from the apparently now-radical concept of marriage as a union of a man and a woman ie the same view 100% of the world viewed marriage 100% of the time since prehistory.

Ironic that a leach lawyer like Zaylore Stout (who had a MOM and DAD!!!) would be "monitoring" a corporation that relies on Natural Laws that God put into place, so animals can reproduce and make more of the same, and so a corporation like Chick-fil-A can sell their products to consumers... who don´t believe in Natural Laws and believe this world is gender neutral. Where the hell do they think these chickens come from? Another chickens ass? Freakin idiots! Maybe that´s what they should be served; it´s what they deserve.
All this gender crap began with the sexual revolution and has literally killed million of unborn children, destroyed homes, families, marriages, social stability and the best these idiots can do is double down and blame reason, truth and logic for the problems it´s caused.

Someone in The Chih-fil-A hierarchy should suggest that these social justice warriors should plant kisses on CFA´s buttockular region.

However, the CFA hierarchy is much too polite to do that, so I guess it´s left up to the rest of us to make that splendid recommendation instead.

Re #12: I´m thinking Chick Fil-A is ready to do just that. Note that they rather pointedly declined to comment on the situation, saying only that they are looking at several possible locations for expansion. I expect if they think there are enough malcontents there who are intent on making sure 30 year old men can follow 13 year old girls into the bathroom to actually make a difference they just won´t bother with the place

I have no problem with a gender neutral bathroom. Many places have them. They are typically called Family bathrooms because it is moms and dads with kids who tend to use them. More comfortable than trying to wrangle a toddler or two in a regular stall bathroom. Somehow, I think if CFA did have one of those, the malcontents would still have a problem. I have lived over a half a century and I remember even as a young child having seen a transwhatever person. Somehow those people managed to go to the bathrooms for at least 50 years with no issues. As a woman, I am not checking out who is really a woman in the bathroom. But I don´t want creepy big males in my bathroom telling me that they feel they are women. One thing if you are dressed and acting like a woman, totally different if you are a man going there to stare at women- that is what we are all upset about. If no one had bothered with this issue, there wouldn´t be weirdos deciding that now it is free for all bathrooms and they can go freak out women.

Every Chick-fil-a that has opened in the Twin Cities has been a great success. They always have people inside eating or in the drive through when the surrounding fast food joints are empty (mid afternoon, later evening, etc). Just lots of hype by the disgruntled left. When the St Louis Par location opens it will be just as successful. We stop at the Bloomington location almost every time we go to the Twin Cities...to get our nugget fix..hubby gets a large shake and I get a yogurt parfait. Such a delicious meal :-)

We have been in Chick-fil-A Restaurants all over the Southeast and nobody working there has ever asked us any personal questions or cared what bathroom we used. The most important thing is that they always served excellent food. I use the Men´s Room and the Mrs. uses the Ladies Room. The Restaurants and the bathrooms are always very clean. The only thing they really cared about is that we eat more chicken!

If there had ever been a SINGLE case of a homosexual even remotely being discriminated against in a Chic-fil-A restaurant, the MSM would have made it a major story for a month solid.

But it never happened. Chick-fil-A restaurants treat every customer as that, a customer. They show them respect, and serve them really yummy chicken sandwiches. Period.

That is what Christians do, and Chick-fil-A is a restaurant chain with a very Christian philosophy for doing business.

But leave it to the MSM to try to make a story out of NOTHING!!!

I still remember to this day the first time I ate at a Chick-fil-A restaurant. It was in the local mall back home and I was with the family. It was the best fast food this at he time 13 year old had. Now my local mall is dwindling with stores like Radio Shack, Waldenbooks, B Daltons and Sun Coast long gone. The CFA is still there and when I went home back in 2015 they built a stand alone restaurant in town with a family bathroom. Fools like Zaylore Stout can "monitor" CFA all they want but the place is a great place to eat and is a money maker wherever they go.
The fact that the company is Christian based and closes on Sundays gets the rabid LGBTPDQ crowd all twitter patted. To that I say to them calm down go have a couple of #1s with sweet tea and relax because like I said that´s some good eating.

House Republican leaders abruptly pulled a Republican rewrite of the nation’s health-care system from consideration on Friday, a dramatic acknowledgment that they are so far unable to repeal the Affordable Care Act. “We just pulled it,” President Trump told The Washington Post in a telephone interview. Bush´s "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge comes immediately to mind, as does President Bill Clinton reneging on his middle-class tax cut, and President Barack Obama never closing Guantanamo Bay. But in each of those cases, those were promises that were made in a given campaign by a given politician. The promise of Obamacare repeal is much different. Republicans ran on repealing and replacing Obamacare for seven years, over the course of four election cycles. They won the

We live in a time of “fake news” awareness, so you’d think that someone at the Los Angeles Times would know better than to publish a headline like this: “Just like her mother, Chelsea Clinton never gets a break” Let’s leave the aside the reference to Hillary Clinton, who magically was able to turn $1,000 into $100,000 in cattle futures with no regulatory consequence and delete 30,000 evidentiary emails without prosecution. Or a break. Chelsea is being groomed for political power, and all the powers of modern propaganda are being mobilized to convince voters that she has some claim to

(Video)Maryland’s governor said Friday he cannot promise parents of children in Montgomery County schools, where a freshman high school student was allegedly raped by two older teenagers, that their children will be safe. Republican Gov. Larry Hogan’s remarks came as the assault last Thursday by two immigrants, at least one of whom is in the U.S. illegally, has become a flashpoint for parents worried that the county’s “sanctuary” status for illegal immigrants exposes their school children to danger.“I’m not sure I can give assurances that their children will be safe,” he said. What he did give assurances about, however, was that he

Brexit was caused in part by climate change, former US Vice-President Al Gore has said, warning that extreme weather is creating political instability “the world will find extremely difficult to deal with”. Mr Gore, speaking at an event in which he previewed a sequel to his landmark 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, said the “principal” cause of the Syrian Civil War had been the worst drought in 900 years, which forced 1.5 million people to move from the countryside to the cities. There they met a similar number of Iraqis who had fled the conflict in their homeland, creating powder keg conditions

Health Reform: Friday´s decision to pull the American Health Care Act from the House floor because it lacked enough votes to pass was a culmination of months of bad decisions, poor planning, and terrible messaging by the GOP leadership in the House. This failure undermines not only the party´s credibility, but President Trump´s purported ability to "make great deals." Worse, it emboldens the left-wing "resistance." Back in early December, we warned in this space that the Republican´s ObamaCare repeal effort was "off to a bad start." That was when House Speaker Paul Ryan was talking up a "repeal and delay" plan that

It´s the most cunning robocall scam I’ve encountered — and the fact that I’ve fallen for it more than once tells you how successful it can be. The phone rings. You pick it up and say “hello.” There’s a brief silence and then a woman’s voice says, “Oh, hi there!” She offers an embarrassed laugh. “I’m sorry, I was having a little trouble with my headset!”I’ve gotten this call a number of times in recent weeks, at home and at work, and each time I’ve been suckered by the lifelike opening to stay on the line longer than I normally

House Republicans scrapped a vote on their health care replacement plan on Friday after defections from both the right and center that made it clear the bill would not pass. President Trump tried to spin the setback as a defeat for Democrats who wouldn´t cross the aisle to support the bill — despite not making any entreaties to the minority party. Trump — who is the first president to enter office without any political or legislative experience — did seem to admit there was a bit of a learning curve when it came to such a complex issue. "This was an interesting
