Troops at Paris´ Orly airport on Saturday shot dead a man who tried to grab a female soldier´s weapon, triggering a major security alert that shut down the airport, leaving thousands stranded. The incident comes as France remains on high alert following a series of jihadist attacks that have claimed over 230 lives since January 2015. Prosecutors said they had opened an anti-terror investigation. France goes to the polls on April 23 in the first round of a two-stage presidential election in which security is one of the main issues on voters´ minds. The shooting took place on the second

Just highlighting this to say, if you think Europe isn´t in trouble with its "refugees", why do they have troops in the airports and in the streets? We don´t, and the left thinks normal Americans are the most dangerous people in the world. Don´t be fooled.

Senator Elizabeth Warren launched another attack on U.S. President Donald Trump on April 19, describing his election win as partly the result of an “ugly stew of racism” on the MSNBC Rachel Maddow Show. (Snip) She added that xenophobia played a big part in Trump’s election campaign. “He got that people are deeply angry,” she said. “People are right to be angry, but Donald Trump said it’s their fault—those other people. After Georgia’s Close Race, Montana
Democrats Demand Party’s Attention

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Rob Quist surveyed his audience last week at an annual powwow of Montana’s Native American tribes, a kaleidoscope of feathers, moccasins and beads, before turning his thoughts to a very different audience, far to the east: the national Democratic Party. “They’ve been on the sidelines a little too long, and it’s time for them to get in the game,” said Mr. Quist, the banjo-playing Democratic nominee in a special May election to fill Montana’s at-large House seat. But, he predicted, “they’re coming in.” They may have little choice. After a hard-fought campaign to fill a House seat

LOUISVILLE — Earlier this week, before heading downstairs to speak to nearly three thousand Kentuckians, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) reminisced about his 2016 presidential campaign. After he had gained steam, and his rallies had become arena-size events, he was struck by the difference between his crowds and those at Democratic Party fundraisers. “We’d have a rally with five or ten thousand young people out, a great deal of energy,” Sanders said between bites of a steak sandwich. “Then I’d walk into a room and there’d be a thousand people from the Democratic Party. ATLANTA - The Georgia special election for the 6th Congressional District will go to a runoff after Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff failed to reach more than 50 percent of the vote Tuesday night. Ossoff received 48 percent of the vote, which is higher than previously predicted. Republican Karen Handel got nearly 20 percent. Karen Handel arrived to a hero´s welcome at her election party in Roswell. She was all smiles, but admitted to being a little nervous about the outcome of what she says has been a very competitive race. What Handel told the crowd is getting major buzz Wednesday morning. Voting machines were reported stolen a day before Georgia’s special congressional election, according to a new report. The equipment was stolen last Saturday evening from a Cobb County precinct manager’s vehicle, Channel 2 Action News said Monday. He did not immediately report the theft. “It is unacceptable that the Cobb County Elections Office waited two days to notify my office of this theft,” Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp said in a statement. Many of the 1,000 people who attended Sen. Republican voters in Georgia’s special election have caught up to the hefty advantage that Democrats built in early voting, according to two elections analyses, and are poised to take the lead on Friday. Democrat Jon Ossoff’s campaign for the suburban Atlanta district was buoyed by early numbers that gave left-leaning voters a sizable lead in the early voting. But that’s all but vanished as the Tuesday election nears and more early voting sites open. One reason the Democratic voter numbers may have stalled: While Democrats appeared to quickly consolidate around Ossoff, the leading contender of five Democrats on the ballot,

Paris — For some time France has been a country that does not like itself. Somewhere on the road from its humiliation in World War II to its disappointment with European integration to its discomfort with globalization, France slid into moroseness. High-speed trains purred; France pouted. Grumbling became a way of life, the response to lost grandeur. Now France seems ready to vent this slow-ripening anger in an election that could see the extreme right return to power for the first time since the 1940s and Europe revert to a turbulence not seen since that epoch. House Democrats face a recruiting dilemma in 2018 as the liberal backlash to President Trump looks poised to boost progressive candidates in primaries. Democrats are seeing a groundswell of enthusiasm on the left, but that same energy could complicate the calculus in swing seats and districts carried by Trump that Democrats need to take back the House. The party will likely need to strike a delicate balance between finding moderate candidates that best match the political profiles of the target districts on issues like abortion and gun control without alienating its left wing. When Bill O’Reilly left for vacation on April 11, he stressed that the break was pre-planned to counter the notion that it had something to do with with the New York Times’ revelation that five women were paid $13 million to settle harassment claims against him. A week later, it looks increasingly unlikely that he’ll ever return to his show. New York’s Gabriel Sherman reported on Tuesday afternoon that “the Murdochs are leaning toward announcing that O’Reilly will not return to the air,” according to three sources. Speaking to Variety magazine (she graces the cover in a white t-shirt, motorcycle jacket and a lot of Photoshop work), Clinton says she’s definitely not interested in running for office, but if she were, she’d have to contend with American voters who stubbornly refuse to acknowledge exactly how much she and her family have contributed to their lives. An article in the Guardian last week provides more confirmation that John Brennan was the American progenitor of political espionage aimed at defeating Donald Trump. One side did collude with foreign powers to tip the election — Hillary’s. Seeking to retain his position as CIA director under Hillary, Brennan teamed up with British spies and Estonian spies to cripple Trump’s candidacy. He used their phony intelligence as a pretext for a multi-agency investigation into Trump, which led the FBI to probe a computer server connected to Trump Tower and gave cover to Susan Rice, among other Hillary supporters, to spy on

We’re told the details in the book, which depicts the campaign as inept, “could only have come from someone in the inner circle.” Dennis Cheng, the finance director of Clinton’s presidential campaign, has been sending out messages to determine where the leaks come from.
