What are you doing here? Angela Merkel is

German Chancellor Angela Merkel´s first visit with the Trumps was awkward for a number of reasons - including her apparent confusion at the First Daughter´s presence at the White House roundtable. Many spotted the moment Merkel gave Ivanka an apparent side-eye, while quickly collecting herself and smiling along with President Trump´s eldest daughter. Ivanka´s specific role in the White House has raised eyebrows, given she has no official title within her father´s administration. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said last month: ´I think her role is to be helpful and provide input on a variety of areas that she has deep, passionate

The headline is misleading. Merkel had called on Ivanka to help set up the round table meeting. In order to put Pres. Trump and his family down, the Press tries to say that when a foreign dignitary looks at them without a huge smile on their faces, they are displeased with them. The pictures show that Merkel was pleased with Ivanka. Tell the Press to get over it and start printing the truth.

What #7 said. Grubby anonymous staffers at the DM wouldn’t understand. The round table was on working women. Ivanka is one and she is interested in helping them.

It will be a lot easier if everyone reconciles himself to the reality that the press will continue to write rubbish about the Trumps. They show their own ignorance (as in this piece). If there is confusion, it is in their challenged minds.

Angela should be asking that question of the 10,000 Syrians who are raping German women daily and messing up every one of their cultural celebrations because diversity is declared a grand and natural thing except that those celebrations violate sharia law.

Oh? She invited them in?

Unless Ivanka has been vetted, I´d prefer she doesn´t play first lady. She and her husband are New York Liberals, and as such are not to be completely trusted. I truly hope PDT does not consider her input when making decisions.

If the art of the deal means I give you this, you give me that, well, now’s a good time to reflect on what it could mean if President Trump agrees to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem. It’s what everybody wants - everyone, that is, whose heart is in the right place for the Jewish State. We don’t want the US Embassy next year in Jerusalem. We want it this year in Jerusalem. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says so, and so do a wide majority of Israelis who expect Trump to deliver. As a candidate, he

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Charlottesville, Virginia, to support the removal of a controversial statue of pro-slavery Civil War general Robert E. Lee - just a day after Alt-Right leader Richard Spencer led a torch-wielding mob fighting to keep the same monument. The demonstrators on Sunday night held candles - rather than the ominous torches of their rivals - so as to ´outshine their torches with our love´, the Daily Progress reported. Russian President Vladimir Putin has told world leaders to stop ´intimidating´ North Korea following the dictatorship´s latest missile test. Putin said attempts to bully Kim Jong-un´s regime were ´unacceptable´, though admitted the missile test was equally wrong. America and South Korea had called for further sanctions after Kim tested a newly developed Hwasong-12 ballistic missile on Sunday, which he claimed was capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to the US. The Russian premier said peaceful talks must be held to resolve escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula. Putin insisted that imposing regime change on a country by force only serves to provoke a

A state-of-the-art navy vessel designed to intercept ballistic missiles is set to be tested later this month. The MV Pacific Collector detects the missile via GPS and shoots out a vehicle which smashes into a warhead in mid-flight to disable it. Known as ground-based mid-course defense, the ship is in port at Aloha Tower in Hawaii for a key upcoming ballistic missile defense test. The news comes as North Korea test-launched a ballistic missile that flew for half an hour and reached an altitude of 1,240 miles before landing in the Sea of Japan - a flight pattern that could

American retail culture may well have reached a tipping point. Major department stores are floundering about like fish in a rapidly draining pond after reporting dreadful earnings last week. The time-honored multigenerational giants like Macy’s, Sears and JCPenney are all looking at a dramatically different future. Macy’s stock collapsed 17 percent after Thursday’s first-quarter report. And high-end retail behemoths like Nordstrom are getting clobbered, too. Shares of that politically petulant retailer fell 11 percent Thursday on news of its first-quarter results. Better take a good look, because this may be last call for the mall.
