GOP senators ask Tillerson to probe US

Republican senators are asking Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to investigate claims that U.S. taxpayer money is being used to back left-wing billionaire George Soros´ political meddling and similar efforts overseas. A letter sent Tuesday asked for a probe into how U.S. funds are being used by agencies such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to back left-wing political groups in other countries. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, one of the co-signers, even said foreign officials and political leaders have come to him with "reports of U.S. activity in their respective countries."

How I hope this is true and that an in depth probe followed by indictments and prison are in this evil man´s future. And if they pluck off Buffett at the same time, even better. Soros has been giving the middle finger to America for years, he´s protected by the media, loved by the Clintons and Obama and all demonRATs, planned parenthood, black lives matter...on and on and on. He needs to be taken down to a pile of rubble and sent back to his commie pals as a bottle of ashes. And all demonRATs being aided financially by this monster should be identified and every effort made to take the out of office.

Sounds like you would ask FBI to do this, not the Soros-sypathizers at the SOS.

Precisely #2. The Dept of State is not an investigative agency. That is not their mission statement or purpose for existence. This is a matter for the Justice Dept.

This is smoke and mirrors from the elite GOP to distract TRex from doing his prime job right now which is to get control of the Nork and Iranian efforts to threaten their regions and the West. The State Department is in a state of flux because of sorting out the 0bama holdovers and firing them and getting his deputy through Congressional hearings. Soros, as bad an actor is he is, can wait till President Trump has his Cabinet and those he can trust not to leak info of his future actions in domestic and foreign policy to the "fake news" media bent on his destruction. That´s why Hillary can wait because the FBI and Justice department aren´t ready for Herself, but maybe those three dRATS IT bros (Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan) that probably did more than just spy on Congressional members. Lest we forget, they had complete control Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s computer files through the DNC.

It would be DOJ´s responsibility to subpoena the Soros Org´s in the U.S. for all records of investment in their foreign offices. Then the FBI would kick into gear and go get them.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Monday accused Democrats of making up allegations that Russia interfered in last year´s election, and said Congress and the FBI should be going after media leaks instead. His tweets came just hours before a potentially politically damaging hearing in which FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers planned to testify on allegations of Russian hacking and whether there were any connections between Moscow and Trump´s campaign. “The Democrats made up and pushed the Russian story as an excuse for running a terrible campaign. A senior Senate Democrat is asking the Treasury Department to evaluate whether President Donald Trump and his family´s business associates and possible investors from Russia and other countries have violated U.S. laws against financing terrorism, money laundering and other illicit activities. Trump´s refusal to jettison or disclose investments that create potential conflicts of interest raises concern over his extensive international holdings, Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio said in a letter Thursday to the new Treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin. Brown is the senior Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee. President Trump welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the White House on Friday. Before the two world leaders held a press conference, they met in the Oval Office and shook hands. That 19-second handshake is one of the most talked about things on Twitter right now. “I shook hands but I grabbed him and hugged him because that’s the way I feel,” Trump said at the press conference in the East Room later. A Texas high school art teacher has been placed on administrative leave after video surfaced showing her “shooting” President Donald Trump inside a classroom while screaming, “Die!” The Secret Service field office in Irving tells me they are aware of the incident, but declined further comment. The video shows the teacher lunging at President Trump and firing the squirt gun numerous times while shouting, “Die!” It is disturbing, to say the least. Joffe joined panel show ARD-Presseclub to answer questions from the public. A viewer called in to ask if it was possible to impeach President Donald Trump and end the “catastrophe.” “There has to be a qualified two-thirds majority of the Senate in order for a removal of office to take place,” a female panelist responded. The desire for a sanctuary campus comes in response to Donald Trump’s campaign promise to deport millions of undocumented people after he takes office. Faculty at the campus threw their support behind students as well by signing and submitting a petition to President Marvin Krislov asking administration to research the possibility of becoming a sanctuary campus. When pressed about the specifics of how such a concept would work, faculty and students said that’s something that’s being brainstormed.
