Intruder breaches White House grounds,
arrested near residence entrance

CNN, by Jeff Zeleny, Peter Morris

Original Article

A man carrying a backpack was arrested Friday night after breaching security at the White House complex and was discovered by a Secret Service officer by the south entrance to the executive residence, officials said. The incident happened just before midnight while President Donald Trump was at the White House. A Secret Service source said the intruder might have entered the White House grounds on the east side before making his way near the residence´s south portico entrance. (Snip) The President was spending the weekend in Washington and was alerted to the incident late Friday night, an administration official said.

Comments:
In an article posted a short time ago (Trump’s Mar-a-Lago is heaven—for spies), the former assistant attorney general for national security during the Obama administration, David Kris, is quoted as saying: “The president is the biggest, richest intelligence target in the world, and there is almost no limit to the energy and money an adversary will spend to get at him.” As a caller to Rush Limbaugh’s program suggested yesterday, “money talks.” May prayers for protection be offered for President Trump.

Alarming that anyone could get that close to the Pres. residence without detection. Just getting onto the W.H. grounds at night should be nearly impossible. Pres. Trump praised the SS for their actions, which makes me wonder if CNN is pushing a skewed story.

Bethlehem (Palestinian Territories) - Down a Bethlehem alleyway, sunlight illuminates a golden icon of the Virgin Mary and Jesus, signalling the revival of an ancient art being practised in the workshop inside. The building near the Church of the Nativity -- the site where Christians believe Jesus was born -- houses a group of enthusiasts specialising in the sacred art of iconography. They are doing so some 2,000 years after Christian iconography began in nearby Jerusalem -- also where Christians believe Jesus was resurrected after his crucifixion, to be commemorated this Sunday for Easter.

In the past few months, we’ve witnessed an assortment of leftist groups trying their best to advance a discredited and pernicious narrative that attempts to link the current administration with a spike in white nationalist anti-Semitism. WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Monday accused Democrats of making up allegations that Russia interfered in last year´s election, and said Congress and the FBI should be going after media leaks instead. His tweets came just hours before a potentially politically damaging hearing in which FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers planned to testify on allegations of Russian hacking and whether there were any connections between Moscow and Trump´s campaign. “The Democrats made up and pushed the Russian story as an excuse for running a terrible campaign. Republican senators are asking Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to investigate claims that U.S. taxpayer money is being used to back left-wing billionaire George Soros´ political meddling and similar efforts overseas. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, one of the co-signers, even said foreign officials and political leaders have come to him with "reports of U.S. activity in their respective countries."
