The Trump administration is considering a proposal to mobilize as many as 100,000 National Guard troops to round up unauthorized immigrants, including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border, according to a draft memo obtained by The Associated Press. However, a senior administration official told NBC News the report was "false." The 11-page document calls for the unprecedented militarization of immigration enforcement as far north as Portland, Oregon, and as far east as New Orleans, Louisiana. Four states that border on Mexico are included in the proposal -- California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas -- but it also encompasses seven states contiguous to
I´d say the campaign to encourage self deportation is well underway. Also the threat of jail time for illegally voting will help. Mexicans are also getting Mexican citizenship for their Dreamer children too in case they´re sent back. They´re afraid DAPA will be rescinded.
What is the problem here? They are deployed to round up ILLEGALS who have not been admitted to our country LEGALLY! If they want to come back, do it the right way. If your an Illegal and you´re deported, take your kids with you. You have the option of "tearing apart families" or not. If you CHOOSE to leave them, not our fault you made a poor choice! The President is carrying out another campaign promise. Nobody should be surprised. Root out those Sanctuary cities and churches who harbor Illegals. They will soon scatter back to Mexico if they fear being caught. As for them having any "Civil Rights" NO! NONE!
#4, now that it has been brought up, Trump can say we´re needing more manpower to actually push the invaders out of our country, so thanks for the great idea AP, even if it was fake news (or very fake news) at the time.
The simple solution to getting illegal aliens back across the border is to require ALL recipients of government assistance, including student loans, be required to reapply in person for photo, fingerprint, and retinal scan. Use their date of birth as time required to show up for processing (starting within 90 days). Meanwhile, remind companies again of laws that require E Verify system checks on employees of legal status to work in US and fines for ignoring those in workforce. Remove all H1-B Visas, giving Americans unemployed those jobs.
This can all be done by executive order and the responsibility given to Homeland Security. Assign an FBI agent-in-charge to each office to make sure authenticity of collected data.
"....including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border, "
Odd but typical line from the AP. AP wants us to believe that federal immigration laws only apply to 4 states bordering Mexico. So, if you make it to NYC, Chicago or anywhere else you receive a "Keep out of jail" card from Feds, allowing you to work, drive & drive drunk, attend our schools, get welfare and vote.
I don´t get this. AP reports this as a fact, even though it is a "draft document". Spicer denies it but the piece goes on and on describing what could happen. Was this another leak or could anyone have access to this?
Years ago deeply involved in writing up some very important documents of great interest to our wealthiest customers I found that people were breaking into my office and my desk at night and pulling out my drafts to read.
SOOOOOO ~ I started writing up multiple versions and just leaving them out around the desk and nearby tables ~ even left copies at the office photocopier station.
It worked ~ they didn´t know what was what. Still broke in regularly.
AssPress by Staff means exactly the same thing as New York Times by Editorial. Nobody wants to take credit for it because it´s either fiction, can´t be verified or it came from an Unidentified Official.
This piece of dreck by the AP (standing for assinine pronouncements) is the perfect example of why I get my news from the internet. I can get the TRUTH from websites like this one, whereas, from the so-called major media, all I get is created sludge such as this story. This is an unverified fanciful dream story for the media. There might be some truth in it, and if there is, I am for it. More likely, it is just more liberal propaganda.
The article and Trump´s approach are similar in one respect: you are expected to believe that our illegal immigration problem is just one of Mexican immigration. Countless illegals from elsewhere are delighted that you have been distracted from discovering the truth.
It´s from NBC (Never Believe Commies), so it has to be FAKE NEWS. Here´s an idea! If the illegals want to stay in this county determine if they have committed any serious crime. If so deport them. If not, then have them all pay a stiff fine and determine if they have job related skills that our county needs. Determine if these illegals intend to become US citizens or not. The money collected from the fines could be used to build the wall or fund ICE.
Lies, lies and MORE lies are being spoon-fed by the dems´ scripted media, but FINALLY, each & everyone is being swiftly exposed! ...It´s about time, as the so-called daily, ´news,´ as routinely churned out by the corrupted alphabets, is worthless regarding factual info.! It´s time for them & their theatrical shenanigans to just go!
I It seems as if the media is using the Mexican illegals as a cover for the suspect Muslims who counter to the Mexicans who want a better life style. too many Muslims only want our land and their Sharia to dominate our nation. They are the ones to deport first. The best solution for them is aid in ending the mayhem and murder by radical Islam so hey can go home to their own life styles.
A French -Tunisian has been arrested after trying to drive a car loaded with liquid gas, assault rifles and knives into a crowd of shoppers in Antwerp in an attempted terror attack. Belgian police, who confirmed the bomb squad had been sent to the area, said the car was being driven at high speed and that pedestrians had to jump out of the way to avoid being injured. Stung by falling sales at Philadelphia stores since the city started taxing soda and other soft drinks last fall, Pepsi and Coca-Cola are selling smaller containers that incur less tax. Pepsi will be replacing 2-liter bottles with 1-liter bottles, which it called an example of the "products and package sizes working families are more able to afford," spokeswoman Jennifer Ryan told me. "We believe this will give our retail and foodservice partners the best chance to succeed in this challenging environment and will minimize the chance of product going out-of-date," she added.
London was today on lockdown as people were warned to stay away from no go zones after at least five people were killed in the London terror attack this afternoon. Westminster Tube station has been closed following the attack, in which a policeman was stabbed to death and at least 40 people were injured when a car mounted the pavement on Westminster Bridge. The devil wears Thinx. The former CEO of Thinx — a company that makes lingerie (inset) for menstruating women — groped female underlings’ breasts, pranced around the office naked, and video-chatted workers from the toilet, a complaint charges. The firm’s ex-head of p.r., Chelsea Leibow, filed the sexual-harassment complaint against ex-boss Miki Agrawal with the city’s Commission on Human Rights last week, New York magazine reported. Agrawal, 38, announced to Leibow, 26, that she had an “obsession’’ with her breasts — and then “helped herself” to them — about a month after the public-relations exec was hired, according to the report.
An elderly Pennsylvania couple was bum-rushed by a brazen ruffian as they walked through the Port Authority Bus Terminal, law enforcement sources said Tuesday. The couple was on the southern end of the bus depot heading to the Eighth Ave. entrance when the suspect pounced at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, police said. He punched the 70-year-old man from behind, knocking him to the floor and then attacked the victim’s 69-year-old wife when she tried to help her husband, cops said. The woman sustained a split lip during the beatdown. No arrests have been made. A motive
Arkansas´ governor signed legislation Tuesday ending the state´s practice of commemorating Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee on the same holiday as slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., leaving only two states remaining that honor the two men on the same day. Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson championed the bill, which also expands what is taught in schools about civil rights and the Civil War, saying it would unify the state and improve its image. His signature comes two years after similar efforts repeatedly failed before a legislative panel, with critics saying it belittles the state´s Confederate heritage.
Call it feng smack. Authorities arrested three drug dealers accused of smuggling heroin in pieces of household furniture, officials said Tuesday. Cops grabbed Jorge Pizarro, 41, Nelson DeJesus, 40, and Miguel Angeles, 27, saying they tried to make an end-run around police by secreting more than 6 pounds of heroin in high-quality wooden end tables they transported from Texas and kept in a Bronx storage unit, officials said. (Snip) For the last year, investigators have been watching Pizarro, who they believe oversees an interstate narcotics-trafficking operation that shuttles heroin from Texas to New York City and Lawrence, Mass., where the
Federal authorities arrested a 28-year-old man in Kearny Monday morning after a months-long investigation determined he was selling highly addictive drugs online, officials said. Chukwuemeka "Emeka" Okparaeke is charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute large quantities of fentanyl analogues, acting New York U.S. Attorney Joon Kim announced in a statement. Okparaeke is accused of receiving several kilograms of fentanyl and repackaging the drugs into smaller quantities for resale. Authorities say he then sold the drugs through an online black marketplace on the "darknet" accessible only through special software that allows users to mask their identities with encryption and decryption to
The prison inmate who pounded on Jared Fogle last year is getting rock star treatment — receiving fan mail and other forms of love from sex abuse victims and random people on the outside. “I am writing to thank you for the beatdown you gave to Jared Fogle,” reads one of the countless letters sent to Steve Nigg since his January 2016 attack on the former Subway pitchman at their federal prison in Englewood, Colorado. “I am proud of your stance on child molestation and your unwillingness to be tolerant towards them,” it says, according to TMZ. “I was a victim of sexual
A production team for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Revolt TV is suing the cable and radio network, claiming reverse discrimination — saying they were fired for being old white men. Douglas Goodstein and four producers, who’d previously worked for “The Howard Stern Show,” were hired by Revolt TV in January 2014. The team produced ?its popular urban talk radio program “The Breakfast Club” that airs mornings on Power 105.1 FM. But the producers, who are all white and over age 39, say they were “treated worse than other employees who were younger and African American.” Executive Vice President Val Boreland “was
In the left-leaning Big Apple, it’s a fashion faux pas more fatal than walking around in sandals with socks, or strapping a fanny pack around your waist: wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. To see for myself, I sported the fire-engine red baseball cap worn by Donald Trump on the campaign trail in liberal gin joints and shops across Manhattan and Brooklyn. I may as well have been wearing a Red Sox hat at Yankee Stadium. The mere sight of my cap nearly caused a riot at the historic Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street — site of the 1969 riots

Sears is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. All department stores have faced increased competition from Amazon.com, but Sears is out of cash and about to fail. Why? Because the CEO, Eddie Lampert, is a guy with nutty ideas who treated Sears like a dotcom, conveniently forgetting that it has physical stores that need maintaining. (snip) It´s closing hundreds of stores. Others are in shambles, with leaking ceilings and broken escalators. In some, employees hang bedsheets to shield shoppers from sections that stand empty. Before Sears and Kmart, Lampert had no experience in retail. The big plan he hoped would transform Sears
A group of Senate Democrats is beginning to explore trying to extract concessions from Republicans in return for allowing Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch to be confirmed, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. The lawmakers worry that Gorsuch could be confirmed whether Democrats try to block him or not — and Democrats would be left with nothing to show for it. That would be a bitter pill after the GOP blocked Merrick Garland for nearly a year. The deal Democrats would be most likely to pursue, the sources said, would be to allow confirmation of Gorsuch in exchange for a
British Lawmaker Lord Digby Jones does not believe the religion of the London attacker is pertinent, The Washington Post reports. Jones comments come in the wake of a tweet by Donald Trump Jr. criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan for once telling citizens that terrorist attacks are “part and parcel” part of living in a big city. Some British lawmakers drew offense from the tweet, saying Trump was attacking the mayor in the midst of a terrorist situation. “You’re safer in London than you’ve ever been,” Jones declared. He continued, “If this turns out to be an act of Islamic terrorism,
Armed Police have opened fire and shot an intruder inside the grounds of the Houses of Parliament amid reports a car drove into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. Several shots were fired at around 2.35pm moments after a loud bang was heard near the grounds of Parliament. Three bodies were visible on the floor outside Parliament and the Palace was placed on an immediate lock down. Others were seen lying in the road on Westminster Bridge, where reports suggest around six people were knocked down by a car. Prime Minister Theresa May is said to have been bundled into a car by a plain-clothes police
Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, is so New Jersey that her Secret Service codename is “Blueberry,” but what many may not know, is her grandfather allegedly belonged to the Mafia in the 80s. Jimmy “The Brute” DiNatale, Conway’s late grandfather, allegedly had mob ties and was a “significant criminal associate" of Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo – the heir to the Bruno crime family based in Philadelphia, according to a memorial service page and law enforcement officials who spoke to the Philly Voice. The page lists Kellyanne Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Conway as his granddaughter and describes DiNatale as “a reputed Bruno-Scarfo
As Republicans hail Judge Neil Gorsuch as an "outstanding" Supreme Court nominee, Democrats are lining up against him for partisan reasons. "My view is very simple," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told a news conference on Tuesday. "And that is, there is a cloud now hanging over the head of the president, and while that´s happening, to have a lifetime appointment made by this president seems unseemly, and there ought to be delay." (Video) (Earlier Tuesday, in remarks on the Senate floor, Schumer said it would be "unseemly" to move forward so fast with confirming Gorsuch while the "gray
Washington -- Communications of Donald Trump´s transition officials - possibly including the incoming president himself - may have been scooped up in legal surveillance but then improperly distributed throughout the intelligence community, the chairman of the House intelligence committee said Wednesday. In an extraordinary set of statements to reporters, Republican Rep. Devin Nunes said the intercepted communications do not appear to be related to the ongoing FBI investigation into Trump associates´ contacts with Russia or any criminal warrants. Nunes, who served on Trump´s transition team, said he believes the intelligence collections were done legally but that identities of Trump officials and the
President Trump is facing the first crucial test of his presidency — repealing and replacing Obamacare — and he needs to apply the negotiating chops and deal-making skills he bragged about in his bestselling book, “The Art of the Deal,” to fixing our broken health-care system. And given his low approval ratings, he needs a win. Dealing with the Obamacare mess has been the core focus of the Republican party for the past 7 years — not to mention a major campaign promise that helped propel Donald Trump to the White House. So it’s imperative that the president seal the deal and
Democrats plan to filibuster Neil Gorsuch’s nomination for the Supreme Court, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) said Thursday. Speaking on the Senate floor Thursday morning, Schumer said Gorsuch -- who is three days into his confirmation hearings with the Senate Judiciary Committee -- will need 60 votes to be confirmed. Currently, the Senate has 52 Republicans and 48 Democrats. “After careful deliberation, I have concluded that I cannot support judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court,” he said. “His nomination will have a cloture vote. He will have to earn 60 votes for confirmation. My vote will
Alphonse Maddin worked as a truck driver for TransAm Trucking. Like a lot of Americans, he did the kind of hard work that puts food on the table, and pays the bills and the taxes. The work that people like Maddin do every day may not receive lots of media attention, but our economy will not function without it. Such workers do not ask for a lot in return, just to be treated fairly and with dignity under our laws. Unfortunately, even that modest expectation has too often gone unfulfilled in recent years. The Supreme Court has increasingly come down
David Brock, founder of the left-leaning Media Matters for America non-profit and a longtime Hillary Clinton ally, suffered a heart attack on Tuesday, according to a press release. "David Brock suffered a heart attack while working in the Washington DC office early Tuesday," the release said on Wednesday. It added that he was quickly treated and stabilized. "He was quickly transported to a local hospital, received prompt medical treatment, and we are looking forward to a swift recovery," the release said. Brock is a former conservative journalist who now heads a network of liberal nonprofits aimed at combating Republicans
WASHINGTON -- Former President Obama surfaced this morning to defend the Affordable Care Act as House Republicans tried to wrangle last-minute votes for today´s promised vote on the American Health Care Act. "Ultimately, after a century of talk, decades of trying, and a year of bipartisan debate, our generation was the one that succeeded" in passing healthcare reform, Obama declared in a statement issued by his office. "We finally declared that in America, healthcare is not a privilege for a few, but a right for everybody." "Since the law passed, the pace of healthcare inflation has slowed dramatically," he added. "Prices are
