The One We´ve Been Waiting For...President Donald Trump held a fiery press conference Thursday with the White House press corps. Trump slammed, berated and embarrassed the national liberal media throughout the presser. (Photo) President Trump decided to speak to the American people directly after the torrent of bad headlines and fake news stories gushing from liberal outlets since he took office. Trump blated the press over and over, including CNN - saying the network was full of “Such ANGER and HATE” and “Very Fake News.” At one point the cameras caught Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway and White House spokesman Sean

Watch the whole thing. It was the Press which was combative, anxious, and frustrated. PDT was relaxed, amused, and having a grand old time.
PDT has dealt with the press for 50 years. He knows how to pull their chain.
This is going to be fun!

Wish I had seen that press conference so I could get a good laugh, too, and some relief from this worryin´ mind.

In the meantime, I laugh at their happy laugh. It is somehow reassuring.

And "VERY fake" IS pretty hilarious, even secondhand.

For decades, going to the movies has given people a two-hour escape from the daily news cycle. But at the Academy Awards -- the pinnacle event in Hollywood -- winners on occasion have used the platform to bring attention to political issues. ABC News film critic Peter Travers predicts this year will "be the most political year of the Academy Awards ever." When did the Oscars become so political? 1973 -Hollywood insiders often point to the 1973 Oscars as the precursor to political speeches. That year Marlon Brando asked Sacheen Littlefeather, the president of National Native American Affirmative Image Committee,

The White House blocked a number of news outlets from covering spokesman Sean Spicer’s question-and-answer session on Friday afternoon. Spicer decided to hold an off-camera “gaggle” with reporters inside his West Wing office instead of the traditional on-camera briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room. Among the outlets not permitted to cover the gaggle were news organizations President Trump has singled out for criticism, including CNN. The New York Times, The Hill, Politico, BuzzFeed, the Daily Mail, BBC, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Daily News were among the other news organizations not permitted to attend.

Speaking in no uncertain terms, the president told the CPAC audience Friday: “It´s time for all Americans to get off welfare and get back to work. You´re gonna love it! Brzezinski was referring to her fear that President Trump may be trying to control the way people think by discrediting the media — whom he calls “enemies of the American people” — and she lost her rhetorical footing, stumbling into saying that mind control is “our job.” But the misstatement resonated with a lot of people,
