ABC: Trump Looked ‘Smaller’ & ‘More

During ABC News special report coverage following President Trump’s press conference on Thursday, anchor George Stephanopoulos seemed to be in a state of shock over the commander-in-chief’s hostility to the liberal media: “What a remarkable window into the state of mind of the President of the United States right there....lashed out at the press, made it very clear he thinks the press is dishonest....never seen anything like that.” Special correspondent Matthew Dowd agreed: “No, that was the most amazing press conference by a president I have ever seen and I´ve been watching it since the mid-70s. The media are dishonest, George. And when they´re not being outright dishonest, they seem to feel compelled to be egregiously misleading.

How DARE anybody fight back when the high and mighty media are spinning their narrative over current events! Everybody´s supposed to hold still and admire the grand fiction they spin. After all, they have our best interests in mind, right? Right? Hello?

I guess net connections are spotty in Oz...

Chris Wallace is having a bit of a testy morning sniping at President Trump from Morning Fox News; Wallace is too much of a weasel to stand up to O´Reilly last night and backtracked as soon as O´Reilly challenged him on statements regarding President Trump and his administration. Wallace has always been in the liberal bag, but he is outing himself big-time as The Donald would say.

My jaw dropped...I couldn´t believe we were watching the same event. And that is EXACTLY the problem...MSM will never, never "get it" and it´s as though they think nothing refers to them or their reporting. It´s called suicide....oh, too bad.

FTA: "Dowd replied: ´...(H)e walked in there with a hornet´s nest of the press. What he did coming out of there was poke it even more.´"

One wonders what the press, its outrage meter over the redline and at fuel cutoff, will do if, instead of this 24/7 astroturfing of stories about nothing, a truly newsworthy story involving President Trump does come along. Incensed beyond the edge of psychosis, the Left have but two tools remaining in their escalation to the perfect storm of protest: Jonestown or spontaneous combustion. Either way, they´re gone.

As for Georgie Stephanopoulos, witness this winsome ditty:

Hey, ABC!

Look how small Bill Clinton looked on the cover of the November 24, 1997 issue of "Time" magazine . . . that is the issue where George Stephanapoulos and Thomas Friedman discuss the merits of an assassination for Saddam Hussein (did they consult the State Department on that before putting that opinion in print . . . oh, nevermind, the CIA can be blamed if anything goes wrong)

here is the link to the "Time" magazine cover with Clinton being stared down at by Saddam - when maybe he was more worried about finding a job for Monica Lewinsky -

Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators are expected to take to the streets Monday in massive May Day events across the USA mostly protesting the policies of President Trump. May Day — also known as International Worker’s Day — has spawned protests around the globe in past years highlighting workers’ rights. But on Monday, the impetus for the U.S. marches span from immigrants´ rights to LGBT awareness to police misconduct. “There’s a real galvanization of all the groups this year,” said Fernanda Durand of CASA in Action, which will lead a march of about 10,000 people for immigrants´ rights through downtown

A top aide on Sunday defended President Donald Trump´s invitation to his Philippines counterpart to visit Washington, saying the need to rally Asian allies over North Korea overshadowed concerns about President Rodrigo Duterte´s brutal war on drugs. The statement touched only lightly on Duterte´s brutal crackdown on crime, which has claimed thousands of lives and drawn international condemnation. Although the media would not report it, Candidate Donald Trump had massive crowds at his rallies throughout the Presidential campaign. President Donald Trump has racked up an historic amount of travel expenses in his first 100 days in office, by far surpassing the president who came before him. Mr Trump has made a point of repeatedly visiting his private Mar-a-Lago resort and golf course, which he and his administration have referred to as the “winter White House,” on the weekends. Those Florida trips require a nearly 1,000 mile flight aboard Air Force One south from Washington.
