During ABC News special report coverage following President Trump’s press conference on Thursday, anchor George Stephanopoulos seemed to be in a state of shock over the commander-in-chief’s hostility to the liberal media: “What a remarkable window into the state of mind of the President of the United States right there....lashed out at the press, made it very clear he thinks the press is dishonest....never seen anything like that.” Special correspondent Matthew Dowd agreed: “No, that was the most amazing press conference by a president I have ever seen and I´ve been watching it since the mid-70s. And I don´t mean
Get used to it Georgie Porgie. If you weren´t such dishonest lying crapweasels, Trump wouldn´t have to call you out. Look inward for the reasons this happened and quit blaming it on Trump. The public knows the truth, wake the hell up.
". . . made it very clear he thinks the press is dishonest....never seen anything like that."
The media are dishonest, George. And when they´re not being outright dishonest, they seem to feel compelled to be egregiously misleading.
How DARE anybody fight back when the high and mighty media are spinning their narrative over current events! Everybody´s supposed to hold still and admire the grand fiction they spin. After all, they have our best interests in mind, right? Right? Hello?
Chris Wallace is having a bit of a testy morning sniping at President Trump from Morning Fox News; Wallace is too much of a weasel to stand up to O´Reilly last night and backtracked as soon as O´Reilly challenged him on statements regarding President Trump and his administration. Wallace has always been in the liberal bag, but he is outing himself big-time as The Donald would say.
I happened to be in a public place yesterday during the presser ( had to read the conversation...quite a challenge!) immediately following it cut to ABC so I saw the panalists´ comments. My jaw dropped...I couldn´t believe we were watching the same event. And that is EXACTLY the problem...MSM will never, never "get it" and it´s as though they think nothing refers to them or their reporting. It´s called suicide....oh, too bad.
You need no more illustration of the dishonesty of the MSM, than ABC pretending that George is an objective "journalist." This is the one of the guys who was in charge of "Bimbo Eruptions" for the clintons... going after innocent rape and harassment victims of B.J. He should be in prison, rather than daring to show his face on national TV.
FTA: "Dowd replied: ´...(H)e walked in there with a hornet´s nest of the press. What he did coming out of there was poke it even more.´"
One wonders what the press, its outrage meter over the redline and at fuel cutoff, will do if, instead of this 24/7 astroturfing of stories about nothing, a truly newsworthy story involving President Trump does come along. Incensed beyond the edge of psychosis, the Left have but two tools remaining in their escalation to the perfect storm of protest: Jonestown or spontaneous combustion. Either way, they´re gone.
As for Georgie Stephanopoulos, witness this winsome ditty:
For what it´s worth, Stimulator of mirth, Get thee a berth To Perth.
Wow, how dense is ABC to use the terms ´smaller and more insecure.´ while putting little George in a tiny box to the left of Trump? He IS a small man, ABC, don´t make fun of him and he has to deal with the embarrassment of pretending he ´forgot´ that he donated $75,000 to Hillary.
Look how small Bill Clinton looked on the cover of the November 24, 1997 issue of "Time" magazine . . . that is the issue where George Stephanapoulos and Thomas Friedman discuss the merits of an assassination for Saddam Hussein (did they consult the State Department on that before putting that opinion in print . . . oh, nevermind, the CIA can be blamed if anything goes wrong)
here is the link to the "Time" magazine cover with Clinton being stared down at by Saddam - when maybe he was more worried about finding a job for Monica Lewinsky -
Oops! Looks like very fake news CNN and MSNBC were caught interviewing the same guest simultaneously while claiming to be live on air. (Photos) A channel surfer caught two different ‘news’ stations, CNN and MSNBC claiming to be live while they were interviewing the same guest. This is great! More proof that the mainstream media is indeed ‘fake news’. Of course this isn’t the first time they have been caught manipulating live shots and crime scenes as you will see…Video from Mark Dice YouTube channel…(Video) CNN & MSNBC Caught doing LIVE Interview with Same Guest At The SAME TIME.!!!?? https://t.co/CPnPcqd5ge
Earlier today President Trump met with the House Freedom Caucus. The HFC is a group of professional electoral abusers who create battered conservative syndrome. The HFC has never passed legislation, nor have they ever taken a leadership role in politics when given every opportunity to actually lead. Personally, I have ZERO respect for the caucus itself or any joined member who would put group intransigence above common sense. The HFC are political countermeasures. (Photo) The caucus is what’s known as the “controlled opposition“, and despite the talking points to the contrary they are funded by billionaire individual donor special interests.
A House intelligence committee investigation took a dramatic shift this week after newly disclosed intelligence reports suggested the Obama administration improperly gathered and disseminated secret electronic communications from President Trump and his transition team prior to inauguration. Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, indicated that the administration used its foreign intelligence gathering authority to spy on the discussions of Trump and his transition team by improperly unmasking the identity of Americans who were swept up in foreign electronic spying. "What I´ve read seems to be some level of surveillance activity, perhaps
Trump welcomed truckers to the White House on Thursday, and got the chance to play around with one of the big rigs. (Video) Video posted to social media shows Trump climbing into the cab and honking the horn of one of the semi trucks parked on the South Lawn of the White House and pretending to drive away. Trump also seems to have worn an "I *heart* trucks" button. (Tweet)
A teenage boy and his parents have filed a lawsuit against a Pennsylvania high school saying that administrators tried to shame the boy for being “intolerant” and demanded that he undress with girls in the school locker room to “make it seem natural.” The lawsuit, filed by Alliance Defending Freedom and Independence Law Center (ILC), is alleging that the Boyertown Area School District in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, sexually harassed the plaintiff, CBS News reported. “No school should rob any student of this legally protected personal privacy,” said ILC attorney Randall Wenger. “We trust that our children won’t be forced into emotionally
Political hacks and Very Fake News pundits have been trying to make Donald Trump, now President Trump’s, ownership in the Trump International DC hotel a conflict of interest. GSA Feds today struck down those claims. (Photo) WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal agency overseeing Donald Trump’s lease for a luxury hotel in Washington has ruled his election as president doesn’t violate the terms of his agreement barring government officials from profiting from the property. In a letter to the Trump Organization on Thursday, the General Services Administration says it has determined that the president’s business is in “full compliance.” The lease
Republican leaders canceled a vote in the House on the plan to replace ObamaCare Thursday, after leadership´s attempts to lobby enough votes apparently failed -- a major setback for House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Trump. Trump and Republican leaders had spent much of the day scrambling to get both moderates and conservatives on board with the increasingly unpopular legislation. Ryan postponed his press conference twice as he worked with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy R-Calif., Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., and Chief Deputy Whip Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., to get enough votes to get the American Healthcare Act through the
As we watch the Democrats and Republicans mutual political intransigence, the PACs application of pressure, the media´s biased coverage, the fringe groups disruption and all the other barrage of loud and abrasive actions and rhetoric that so deeply divides this nation, you can´t help but wonder: can we not come together and reason; can we not find some common ground to stand on and work out our differences for the good of the country we all love?" Well, I have wondered that because I know from personal experience that reasonable people, who want to get along with each other and
Put this one in the loony lefty bin. Hollywood actress Patricia Arquette, known for winning the best supporting actress Oscar two years ago, revealed she’s a conspiracy theorist last night on Twitter. After an Islamic terrorist killed 4 people and wounded at least 40 others in London Wednesday, the actress claimed it was all a ruse by President Trump to distract us from the FBI investigation into his ties with Russia: (Tweet) So far her tweet hasn’t received that much attention, but Arquette is certainly a media darling. In 2015 the actress made headlines when she gave a politically charged
U.S. Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement unions are cheering President Trump´s plan to hire 15,000 new agents, claiming that he has boosted sagging morale by promising to finally help the outnumbered immigration officers — and let them do their jobs. "During my career at ICE I have never had the opportunity to commend a sitting U.S. president, or DHS secretary, but I´m doing so today. Amidst all the hammering from the media, and protests from special interest groups, President Trump and Secretary (John) Kelly haven´t wavered, but instead continued steadfast in their support of the rule of law
We´ve seen two more "Known Wolf" terror attacks in the West, and yet Western government authorities seem unwilling to acknowledge, let alone begin to address, the "Known Wolf" terror problem. I first identified the "Known Wolf" terror trend and coined the term in October 2014 here at PJ Media, noting that many, possibly most, Islamic terrorists who actually committed terrorism in the West were already known to Western law enforcement, national security agencies, and intelligence services. Yet sufficient action was not taken to prevent them from conducting terror attacks: (Tweet) Since then, I´ve chronicled (in nearly two dozen articles) the
Freedom Watch notifies congress of a “Deep State” intelligence community whistle blower, Dennis Montgomery, with hundreds of millions of documents showing CIA and FBI and Intelligence Committees were spying on, and conducting surveillance on, American citizens for political purposes. Mr. Montgomery is trying to use a legal “whistle-blower” process and not follow the same approach as Edward Snowden. (Photos/Copy of letter)
Sears is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. All department stores have faced increased competition from Amazon.com, but Sears is out of cash and about to fail. Why? Because the CEO, Eddie Lampert, is a guy with nutty ideas who treated Sears like a dotcom, conveniently forgetting that it has physical stores that need maintaining. (snip) It´s closing hundreds of stores. Others are in shambles, with leaking ceilings and broken escalators. In some, employees hang bedsheets to shield shoppers from sections that stand empty. Before Sears and Kmart, Lampert had no experience in retail. The big plan he hoped would transform Sears
Last week, the British intelligence agency GCHQ took the rare step of debunking as “utterly ridiculous” the Trump administration’s insinuation that Britain spied on Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign. On Monday, FBI Director James B. Comey testified plainly that “I have no information that supports” President Trump’s accusations that his predecessor ordered the “wires tapped” at Trump Tower. These false statements from the White House are part of a disturbing pattern of behavior that poses real and potentially profound dangers to U.S. national security. The foundation of the United States’ unrivaled global leadership rests only in part on our military
A group of Senate Democrats is beginning to explore trying to extract concessions from Republicans in return for allowing Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch to be confirmed, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. The lawmakers worry that Gorsuch could be confirmed whether Democrats try to block him or not — and Democrats would be left with nothing to show for it. That would be a bitter pill after the GOP blocked Merrick Garland for nearly a year. The deal Democrats would be most likely to pursue, the sources said, would be to allow confirmation of Gorsuch in exchange for a
British Lawmaker Lord Digby Jones does not believe the religion of the London attacker is pertinent, The Washington Post reports. Jones comments come in the wake of a tweet by Donald Trump Jr. criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan for once telling citizens that terrorist attacks are “part and parcel” part of living in a big city. Some British lawmakers drew offense from the tweet, saying Trump was attacking the mayor in the midst of a terrorist situation. “You’re safer in London than you’ve ever been,” Jones declared. He continued, “If this turns out to be an act of Islamic terrorism,
Armed Police have opened fire and shot an intruder inside the grounds of the Houses of Parliament amid reports a car drove into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. Several shots were fired at around 2.35pm moments after a loud bang was heard near the grounds of Parliament. Three bodies were visible on the floor outside Parliament and the Palace was placed on an immediate lock down. Others were seen lying in the road on Westminster Bridge, where reports suggest around six people were knocked down by a car. Prime Minister Theresa May is said to have been bundled into a car by a plain-clothes police
Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, is so New Jersey that her Secret Service codename is “Blueberry,” but what many may not know, is her grandfather allegedly belonged to the Mafia in the 80s. Jimmy “The Brute” DiNatale, Conway’s late grandfather, allegedly had mob ties and was a “significant criminal associate" of Nicodemo “Little Nicky” Scarfo – the heir to the Bruno crime family based in Philadelphia, according to a memorial service page and law enforcement officials who spoke to the Philly Voice. The page lists Kellyanne Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Conway as his granddaughter and describes DiNatale as “a reputed Bruno-Scarfo
As Republicans hail Judge Neil Gorsuch as an "outstanding" Supreme Court nominee, Democrats are lining up against him for partisan reasons. "My view is very simple," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told a news conference on Tuesday. "And that is, there is a cloud now hanging over the head of the president, and while that´s happening, to have a lifetime appointment made by this president seems unseemly, and there ought to be delay." (Video) (Earlier Tuesday, in remarks on the Senate floor, Schumer said it would be "unseemly" to move forward so fast with confirming Gorsuch while the "gray
Washington -- Communications of Donald Trump´s transition officials - possibly including the incoming president himself - may have been scooped up in legal surveillance but then improperly distributed throughout the intelligence community, the chairman of the House intelligence committee said Wednesday. In an extraordinary set of statements to reporters, Republican Rep. Devin Nunes said the intercepted communications do not appear to be related to the ongoing FBI investigation into Trump associates´ contacts with Russia or any criminal warrants. Nunes, who served on Trump´s transition team, said he believes the intelligence collections were done legally but that identities of Trump officials and the
President Trump is facing the first crucial test of his presidency — repealing and replacing Obamacare — and he needs to apply the negotiating chops and deal-making skills he bragged about in his bestselling book, “The Art of the Deal,” to fixing our broken health-care system. And given his low approval ratings, he needs a win. Dealing with the Obamacare mess has been the core focus of the Republican party for the past 7 years — not to mention a major campaign promise that helped propel Donald Trump to the White House. So it’s imperative that the president seal the deal and
Alphonse Maddin worked as a truck driver for TransAm Trucking. Like a lot of Americans, he did the kind of hard work that puts food on the table, and pays the bills and the taxes. The work that people like Maddin do every day may not receive lots of media attention, but our economy will not function without it. Such workers do not ask for a lot in return, just to be treated fairly and with dignity under our laws. Unfortunately, even that modest expectation has too often gone unfulfilled in recent years. The Supreme Court has increasingly come down
Democrats plan to filibuster Neil Gorsuch’s nomination for the Supreme Court, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) said Thursday. Speaking on the Senate floor Thursday morning, Schumer said Gorsuch -- who is three days into his confirmation hearings with the Senate Judiciary Committee -- will need 60 votes to be confirmed. Currently, the Senate has 52 Republicans and 48 Democrats. “After careful deliberation, I have concluded that I cannot support judge Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court,” he said. “His nomination will have a cloture vote. He will have to earn 60 votes for confirmation. My vote will
David Brock, founder of the left-leaning Media Matters for America non-profit and a longtime Hillary Clinton ally, suffered a heart attack on Tuesday, according to a press release. "David Brock suffered a heart attack while working in the Washington DC office early Tuesday," the release said on Wednesday. It added that he was quickly treated and stabilized. "He was quickly transported to a local hospital, received prompt medical treatment, and we are looking forward to a swift recovery," the release said. Brock is a former conservative journalist who now heads a network of liberal nonprofits aimed at combating Republicans
