Wednesday on CNN addressing media reports that he had turned over a dossier containing unverified claims about Russia and President-elect Donald Trump, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said, “I don’t know if it’s credible or not but I thought the information deserved to be delivered to the FBI, the appropriate agency of government.” Partial transcript as follows: MCCAIN: After looking at that information I took it to the FBI and have had no further involvement with it at issue. By the way, according to some media reports they already had that information, but I didn’t know that at the time. I

Mr. McCain, why didn´t you call Trump and ask him? Mr. Trump is the leader of your party, yet when you get a salacious accusation against him, you, Mr. McCain go running to the FBI, and don´t even have the courtesy of giving your party leader an opportunity to advise you that it is not true. That is the difficulty I have with you, Mr. McCain. You say you are friends, but it seems from everything I have seen that is only your way of getting behind so you can stab them in the back.

Yeah, you get a story that several years ago a private citizen watched a nasty performance in a foreign country and you need to secretly notify the FBI. Senility setting in if this is the best he can come up with.

If McCain doesn´t resign from congress - which he probably won´t - he needs to be removed. A petition for a recall vote should be started immediately.

How would you like to have him for a wing man?
Given his legendary airman skills, he might crash into you, or even shoot you down.

If the Clintons´ mudslinging machine is a Ford, then McCain has been operating his own Chevy-powered mudslinger for as long as the Clintons.

McCain´s model has a spatter shield so Mr Straight Talk Express doesn´t get his suits dirty and he can do his 25 TV appearances per day without interruption (has McCain actually been to the Senate chamber to represent AZ or is he stationed permanently in the Capitol rotunda and the TV studios?).

McCain lets the muck fly often while claiming to be appalled at all the mess.

But like the Clintons, McCain is finding that the 2010s are very different to the 1990s and that his tired tactics don´t work anymore. In fact, the smears and narratives he attempts to push are being debunked rapidly - in most cases within a 24 hr window. We are on to his game and so is Trump.

McCain had better wind his neck in.

He thought he caught Trump in something that would be the last straw, something that would take Trump down. Unfortunately for McCain, it backfired and he´s the one that just opened that curtain for the World to see the REAL McCain. The one who could hardly wait to hand this garbage over to the FBI in hopes it would smear Trump. I can´t wait to see how his Snotty little daughter spins this on FOX tomorrow! I can´t stand either of them anymore!

McCain is an absolute disgrace, and he is disgracing the people of Arizona. He needs to be recalled, which requires a statewide effort and a lot of signatures, but it would be worthwhile. The Republican Party should disown him and ask him to resign his office. Also, he should be censured. War hero aside, he is no longer serving with honor.

What an arrogant and filthy liar he is now. Even Hillary knew this was not a usable report.
There must be something really bad from the past 8 years that could land McCain in the legal soup.

I am guessing he helped Obama arm terrorists in Syria. The same kind of terrorists who have no problems with doing something horrifying on American soil.

I suspect that Trump either knows or will know shortly after taking office. McCain is desperate to avoid that.

Just look at his face. he is white as a sheet, muscles taut, eyes jittery. He in deep trouble and he knows it. Even if he stays as Arizona´s Senator, he will be avoided like the plaque. He just might have committed a felony.

He knows now, for certain, the President, who does not suffer fools or enemies, will be gunning for him big time. McCain is dirty enough to know Trump will eventually get something good on him and will bring him before the mast. McCain´s days are finished.

That alone delights me.

He is walking proof of the theory that torture causes lasting, permanent incurable brain damage.

Just to be a nit-picker, but I thought the FBI was for domestic problems, and the CIA was for anything with international implications. Was that report not generated by a British "former spy" with information purported to be from Russia...why didn´t the dossier go to the CIA?

If a number of Russian prostitutes get on a bed in a Moscow hotel where Obama slept and peed on each other is that against the law in Russia?

If that happened in Washington, DC and the prostitutes involved were male homosexuals both the liberal Democrats and the liberal media would consider that act as being "fabulous". So give us a break!

A moment of levity snuck into Tuesday´s confirmation hearing for Neil Gorsuch, President Trump´s nominee for the Supreme Court, when a Republican senator brought up a beloved science fiction comedy "The Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Galaxy." Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, asked Gorsuch, "what is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything?" — a topic which Cruz said Gorsuch has some familiarity. Gorsuch´s answer was "42." The question is a reference to the "Hitchhiker´s Guide," in which a supercomputer built by aliens spends 7.5 million years contemplating the answer to that question. Dissident Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) officials created a digital “Forum of Hate” (FOH) using highly offensive email texts against an agency whose upper management they viewed as worried only about getting bonuses for themselves and whose workforce they considered degraded by excessive Affirmative Action hiring. The high-level employees on the FOH included attorneys, administrative law judges (ALJs) and managers who sent dozens of inflammatory emails per day using their government email accounts, then complained about how they had to work late. The previously unreported emails occurred in 2015, according to a draft report prepared by the inspector general (IG).

Professor Hans Joachim Schellnhuber (shown) wants to take us back to the Stone Age — literally. In a March 15 interview with the German newspaper Deutsche Welle, the German physicist declared that global warming is so serious that not only must we all give up the use of coal and our internal combustion vehicles in the next 13 years, but we must also ditch concrete and steel — for “wood, clay and stone.” If we don’t do this, along with other drastic measures, we are headed toward planetary warming of “4, 5, 6 or even 12 degrees,” he claims. Several Senate Democrats were unified in deriding originalism as a judicial philosophy during Monday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to Supreme Court justiceship Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), ranking Democrat of the committee, described originalism as a "very troubling” jurisprudential approach. The Framers, she added, intended for the Constitution to be continuously reinterpreted over time (emphasis added): “Judge Gorsuch has also stated that he believes judges should look to the original public meaning of the Constitution when they decide what a provision of the Constitution means. This is personal, but I find this originalist judicial

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham on Tuesday questioned Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch about what it would take to impeach President Trump. (Snip) "In case President Trump is watching, which he may very well be, one you did a good job picking Judge Gorsuch," Graham said to laughs, "and number two—here´s the bad part—if you start waterboarding people, you may get impeached. Is that a fair summary?" "Senator, the impeachment power belongs to this body," Gorsuch answered.

Representative Elise M. Stefanik is a young, freshman republican congresswoman from the Albany New York area. And using a probative questioning timeline, she single-handily pulled the mask from FBI Director James Comey, yet no-one seemed to notice. Obviously Ms. Stefanik has not been in the swamp long enough to lose her common sense. (Photos) In the segment of the questioning below Rep. Stefanik begins by asking director Comey what are the typical protocols, broad standards and procedures for notifying the Director of National Intelligence, the White House and senior congressional leadership (aka the intelligence Gang of Eight), when the FBI

FBI Director James Comey, in an extraordinary House hearing meant to clear the air on a host of allegations relating to the 2016 campaign, confirmed publicly for the first time Monday that the bureau is probing Russian meddling in the race including possible “links” to the Trump team – while disputing the president’s claim that his predecessor wiretapped him. The FBI director was called to testify alongside National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers for a public session of the House intelligence committee. Comey’s testimony could serve to fuel tensions with the White House, which maintains there’s no evidence of Trump-Russia

Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. on Tuesday said he and his estranged wife Sandi Jackson are $1.8 million in debt thanks to legal bills from their federal criminal prosecution and mounting fees from an acrimonious divorce playing out in courtrooms in two cities. Jackson Jr. talked to reporters during an at-times rambling question-and-answer session following a brief hearing in his divorce case at the Daley Center, opining on the state of Washington politics and the best way to settle the couple’s bills. Neither Jackson nor his wife, former alderman Sandi Jackson, has worked since their release from prison after serving sentences

State Waste: The Golden State´s vaunted bullet-train project, planned to connect San Francisco to Los Angeles, may be in its financial death throes. If so, it´s probably the best fiscal news for the Golden State in years. To say that Gov. Jerry Brown´s pet project, the so-called high-speed train, is troubled would be an understatement. From the very beginning, it has been a testament to political hubris, fiscal irresponsibility, outright lies and abysmal planning. The bullet train idea was floated on a blustery gust of political promises in 2008, when proponents put the high-speed rail to the state´s voters in
