(Video) Trump’s Tax Attorney Makes Announcement -Trump’s tax attorney Sheri Dillon made an announcement regarding possible conflicts of interest between Trump’s business dealings and running the country as President. At first Dillon stated that Trump did not believe that paying for a hotel room would fall under the so called emoluments clause which states: “no person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress , accept of any present, Emolument, Office or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign state.” Dillon then went on to make the announcement

Unless, of course, you have a tax-exempt "Foundation" that pretends to do humanitarian work, so that you can trade favors for millions in cash, like the Clinton Crime Family. It´s nice to see some grownups with ethics in charge again, who don´t believe the purpose of public office is to enrich themselves.

Senate Republicans on Monday suggested that partisanship was behind ex-Attorney General Sally Yates´ decision not to defend the Trump administration´s executive order on travel. Yates was fired by President Trump after her controversial decision, which came out just days after the Justice Department´s Office of Legal Counsel decided Trump´s order was legal. Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., pressed the issue in a Senate Judiciary subcommittee by asking her bluntly, "Who appointed you to the United States Supreme Court?" Yates described her reasoning more fully in answers to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who used the hearing to press Yates on why she

Barack Obama´s former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, testified Monday before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism that the intelligence community "unmasked" 1,934 U.S. persons in 2016. Clapper said the term "unmasking" is often misunderstood and that it is important to know the context. "There are cases when, to fully understand the context of the communication that has been obtained or the threat that is posed, the consumer of that collected intelligence may ask the identity of the U.S. person be revealed," Clapper said. "Such requests explain why the unmasking is necessary, and that explanation is conveyed back

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper categorically denied any political or “voyeuristic” motive to the “unmasking” of Trump campaign associates when he addressed the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism Monday. “At no time did I ever submit a request for personal or political purposes or to voyeuristically look at raw intelligence, nor am I aware of any instances of such abuse by anyone else,” Clapper told the Committee in his initial address. The denial comes after suggestions of potential impropriety were levied against National Security Advisor Susan Rice as reports surfaced alleging that she had requested

There are a lot of things about politics and politicians that make me want to drop a brick on somebody´s toe – scratch that, make it a cinderblock – and I am very bipartisan in these less than noble feelings. There is a situation going on in Washington right now that perfectly exhibits the nature of my anger, and if I hear one more Democrat, pay attention Chuck Schumer, say that Republicans don´t want poor people to have health care or some other bit of otherworldly hyperbolic crap, I´m apt to throw said brick or cinderblock at a television screen.

How could Marine Le Pen have lost in a landslide? Why, after the Brits chose Brexit, and Americans chose Trump, did the Dutch fail Wilders, and the French fail Le Pen? How could a country that has been hit by several major terrorist attacks in recent years, and that has undergone a more profound social transformation owing to Islamic immigration, vote for business as usual? Wilders, buoyed by the Brexit and Trump victories, said that 2017 would be a “Year of the Populist.” So far, alas, it´s not turning out that way. Yes, there are positive signs.
