Leftist Senator Al Franken In
Defense Of Jeff Sessions

DC Whispers, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 1/11/2017 1:42:28 PM

Al Franken attempted to paint Senator Jeff Sessions as a liar and a racist – accusations which are in direct opposition to the actual facts of Senator Jeff Sessions’ remarkable law enforcement and legislative career. Sessions was fighting against real racism when Franken was a third-rate comedian and writer on SnL. How refreshing is it to see a conservative like Ted Cruz, a man who intellectually laps the likes of Franken many times over, come so quickly and forcefully to Senator Sessions’ defense. Perhaps the persistent rumors of a Cruz nomination to the Supreme Court remains a very real possibility

Video. Wonderful!!!

Honestly I still cannot get over the fact Al Franken is a Senator.

The only thing missing from the video was the face and expression of Franken as Cruz made his remarks. He foremost needs to not only apologize to Sessions but also to the Committee for bringing up false information, as well as to the American voters for giving us more reason not to trust members of Congress who evidently cannot separate fact from partisan fiction. Franken is a joke, like so many of the truly intellectually-impaired Democrats who have no business being there.

Cant add much to what Cruz said, except that Franken is a blithering idiot. Typical Liberal air head.

I know how Franken got ´elected´ the first time via "conduct recounts until the Democrat is ahead, then QUIT!" method. What puzzles me is how he got RE-ELECTED!

They should hold an inquiry on how Franken got those votes to get in the Senate by counting and recounting and discovering more votes until he had enough to win.

Franken is a LIAR who stole his senate seat with the help of lying, cheating democrats and a pathetic, weak, Republican opposition. The fact that he is blatant, proven, scum doesn´t matter to millions of insane leftists. They are all around us, as well as in your family and friends. Oppose them, fight them every chance you get. You can try and inform them, but they won´t care. They prefer proven lies to the truth, because lies from a thief feed their religion which is anti-American. They live to create a tyranny of PC Big Brother. They want to obliterate you.

This is an even better video of Ted Cruz´s retort to the democrats and the democrat senators and the democrat party in general. Including when Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch ran the InJustice Dept.

Continue to watch after the little spat a BLM protestor made about 1/4 ways through it. That is the best part of the video. This is filled with the facts. He clearly knocks it out of the park, in defense of Senator Sessions here. Truly, a great video.

These hearings are showing how consistently foolish and unhinged the entire dem party is these days. They are completely shameful. All these concerns about conflict of interests being raised against Republicans is so rich given that the Clintons took $2 billion plus in donations to their "foundation" and the dems nominated that witch as their candidate for POTUS without one question of her conflict of interests. The hypocrisy is so thick I am choking!

Franken, like many actors, is pretty stupid, actually, and has absolutely zero conscience about saying things that are clearly, obviously, provably false with a straight face.

He was and is an actor, used to saying things he doesn´t believe, understand or even care about.

No, Franken is not good enough, smart enough and we really don´t like him at all. He got in the same way many demoncrats do: keep counting until you are ahead. They are like the whiny, dishonest kids on the playground who insist you keep flipping the coin until they win.

No sane person could believe that this unfunny clown became a U.S. Senator, but I suppose he represents the insane liberals of Minnesota.

Do Americans realize that senator’s pretty much don’t do anything for a living? They make $174K/yr to do nothing in particular. They go to meetings and listen to blather, then their staffers bring them an outline of a 2000 page bill, they read the outline that tells them to vote Yea or Nay, then they go to lunch for 3 hours. When they get back they take a few calls, see a couple of big spending lobbyist’s, then call it a day.

What could go wrong?

I wish there were a dozen more like Sen. Cruz. Watching Cruz destroy Al Franken, utterly, reminds me of why I voted for TC in the Florida presidential primary. As great a justice as he could be on the SCOTUS--and he is capable of being as great as CJ John Marshall or Justice Cardozo--what he´s doing now in his senatorial duties no one else could possibly do better. His eagerness to fight for what he believes in and knows to be true--like Sen. Sessions´s good character and Sen. Franken´s bad--puts him in the same category as President-elect Trump. Those two are fearless.

And #19, don´t forget about glomming onto every CODEL (Congressional Delegation) "fact-finding" trip to Hawaii, London, Paris, etc. Free travel, feted like royalty everywhere you go; who wouldn´t want that?

The other great thing is that you only have to crank up a re-election campaign every six years versus the two-year cycle in the House.

Sen. Marco Rubio challenged Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of State Rex Tillerson for his views on Vladimir Putin, demanding to know whether he thought the Russian president was a war criminal. “I would not use that term,” Tillerson replied. Rubio listed public reports of Putin-linked bombings and attacks on civilians as well as public reports of civilian dissidents, political opponents and journalists dying under mysterious circumstances. “I would want to have much more information before reaching a conclusion,” Tillerson replied, calling Rubio’s concerns “very serious charges.” Rubio specifically referred to Russia’s actions in Syria, describing Putin’s actions as “war crimes.” “I find it discouraging

Though every Republican in Congress voted against the Iran nuclear deal, “Tearing it up ... is not going to happen,” says Sen. Bob Corker, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. Hopefully, the chairman speaks for the president-elect. During the campaign, Donald Trump indicated as much, saying that, though the U.S. got jobbed in the negotiations—“We have a horrible contract, but we do have a contract”—he might not walk away. To Trump, a deal’s a deal, even a bad one. And we did get taken. In 2007 and 2011, all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies assured us, “with high confidence,” that Iran did not have an

TAMPA, Fla. -- So many thought it would be different. Alabama´s defense was so much better and so much more suited to face Deshaun Watson. Yes, Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts was a freshman, but he had enough horsepower around him to outrun Clemson. For most of the game, all of that was coming to fruition. Until the fourth quarter. That, folks, is when championships are won and lost. On Monday night, that´s when Clemson upended mighty Alabama with a 2-yard pass to the Tide slayer himself, Hunter Renfrow, in the Tigers´ 35-31 win over Alabama in the College Football Playoff National Championship presented

Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself. The material, which has been seen by the Guardian, is a series of reports on Trump’s relationship with Moscow. They were drawn up by a former western counter-intelligence official, now working as a private consultant. BuzzFeed on Tuesday published the documents, which it said were “unverified and potentially unverifiable”.

We the people give it meaning with our participation and with the choices that we make and the alliances that we forge…” He later said that as he steps down from the presidency, he plans to play an active role in "the most important office in a democracy: citizen."
