Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect. The Arizona senator issued a public statement amid mounting questions of his exact role in the affair - and how a document riddled with errors and unverifiable claims came to be published. ´Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,´ he said. ´Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. ´That has been the extent of

McCain should be stripped of the Armed Forces Committee Chairmanship. This is the most dirty act of betrayal possible. The man did not even have the courtesy to call Trump, and ask him, because he was so anxious to stab Trump in the back. McCain is persona non grata, and forever branded with lying traitor on his forehead. McCain has not met a terrorist that he does not want to arm, or a country he does not want to get the US involved in militarily. McCain should court martialed out of the Senate.

He is still an American hero for his actions while a POW in North Vietnam, but McCain has been slipping for years and has now completely lost it.

He should resign from the Senate immediately, if he has the mental capacity left to do it, or else he should be impeached and removed from office.

Put up a statue to his 1960´s era Navy service, then try to forget the depths to which he has sunk since then.

To poster #5, McPain is despised by the POWs he was interned with. He was a traitor then and is a traitor now. If it weren´t for his dad and grandfather being respected flag officers, admirals at that, he would have been fired for crashing not one, but five navy aircraft. I guess that makes him an Ace. Not!

I call AZ home and I am totally disgusted with both of the senators from this great state of Arizona. I hope Dr. Kelli Ward tromps on Flake (great name for a true flake) and brings some dignity to the US Senate.

Some posters don’t seem to understand that a person doesn’t have to be elected unanimously to an office. Not every person in a state has to vote for a senator for them to be elected. I am stunned at the ignorance displayed on this. If someone we don’t like is elected, it doesn’t mean that every person or every Republican voted for them. Just enough votes for a majority.

Before posting such opinions, posters should go to the respective state offices that give the registration count just before elections. (In California, that is the office of the Secretary of State.) In California, they’d find out that Republican registrations in the millions are seriously outnumbered by Democrats in more millions. Outnumbered Republican voters should not be held responsible and slammed for what happens in elections.

McCain would never, ever have been selected to become a naval aviator, being at the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy (894 out of 899). Only because of nepotism; his father and grandfather being Admirals, was he allowed to fly. He was known as McNasty in high school. How this aged p**** keeps being re-elected is sad. It is no secret that President Donald Trump loves to bash the mainstream media. Nary a day goes by when he doesn’t call the press “fake news.” So, there should be little shock that during an interview with CBS News’ John Dickerson that aired this morning on Face the Nation, the president took to ridiculing the program right to Dickerson’s face. During the wide-ranging conversation, Dickerson brought up Trump’s comments in which he stated that he thought the job of president “would be easier.” This led to POTUS giving a long-winded explanation about how much he loves being president, that

Five people were killed and nearly 50 people were taken to hospitals after a series of tornadoes hit East Texas on Saturday. Powerful storms swept through Canton and nearby areas about 50 miles east of Dallas, leaving behind a trail of overturned vehicles, mangled trees and damaged homes. ETMC Regional Heathcare Systems hospitals in the area received at least 47 patients following the storm. One person was in critical condition, spokeswoman Rebecca Berkley said. ALBANY, N.Y.- New York Democrats have hatched a plan to get a look at Donald Trump´s tax records by crafting a piece of legislation designed to get at his state returns that does everything but mention the Republican president by name. The bill introduced this month in New York´s Senate and Assembly would require the state to release five years of state tax information for any president or vice president who files a New York state return. While Trump´s state return wouldn´t include all the details from his federal return, it would offer the public much more information about the

Now that President Trump has survived his first 100 days, a burning question in Washington is whether House Speaker Paul Ryan will survive the second 100 days. A miracle might be needed. Ryan’s repeated inability to pass anything resembling a repeal of ObamaCare goes beyond simple failure. It’s shaping up as a potential disaster for the Trump presidency and the GOP congressional majority. With every Republican talking about little else for seven years, and with Trump in the White House, producing a repeal-and-replace bill should have been relatively low-hanging fruit. But Friday’s second collapse of the effort suggests Ryan can’t

The president of the White House Correspondents Association, Jeff Mason, used the get-together at the Washington Hilton to strongly criticize a president who has used his first 100 days of power as an opportunity to attack the media. The absence of President Donald Trump, who has called the media ´fake,´ ´dishonest´ and even ´the enemy of the people,´ marks the first time a president has declined since Ronald Reagan in 1981, who was, at the time, recovering

He has floated some conspiracy theories for years, but now President Donald Trump will get to play a crucial role in the long-running saga over the government´s Kennedy assassination records. The 1992 JFK Assassination Records Collection Act, signed by President George H.W. Bush, set a 25-year timetable for declassification of assassination records dealing with President Kennedy. The law set up a single collection of records at the National Archives, and set up a process for declassification. The law required the release of all government records dealing with the assassination within 25 years – with the exception of those the president certifies for

New york - Two conservative journalists have sparked outcry on social media by making what some have interpreted as a white supremacist hand symbol at a recent visit to the White House. Freelance journalist Mike Cernovich and Cassandra Fairbanks, a reporter for Russian news outlet Sputnik, posed for a picture behind the podium in the White House briefing room. In the photo, they are making a hand sign that can be used to signify “white power.” “Just two people doing a white power hand gesture in the White House,” Fusion senior reporter Emma Roller tweeted, alongside a screenshot of the picture.

When someone is honestly 55 percent right, that’s very good and there’s no use wrangling. And if someone is 60 percent right, it’s wonderful, it’s great luck, and let him thank God. But what’s to be said about 75 percent right? Wise people say this is suspicious. Well, and what about 100 percent right? Whoever says he’s 100 percent right is a fanatic, a thug, and the worst kind of rascal. — An old Jew of Galicia In the final stretch of last year’s presidential race, Hillary Clinton and her team thought they were, if not 100 percent right, then very close.

Muslim reformer Zuhdi Jasser has recently attacked leaders of the anti-Jihad movement in America. He equated them with jihadists when he called them the derogatory word, alt-jihadists, meaning that Americans who speak and write against the evils of Islamic jihad and sharia are just as bad as jihadists. (snip)I have always respected what Zuhdi Jasser was trying to do and avoided contradicting him in public, even though I do not believe that Islam is reformable. I have kept my opinion to myself regarding the false hope Muslim reformers are giving to the Americans regarding Islam. But when Jasser attacked leaders

Washington- Political analyst David Gergen delivered a harsh critique of President Trump´s campaign-style rally Saturday night in an appearance on CNN´s "Newsroom." "To bring your campaign speech into the presidency is something presidents rarely do," said Gergen, who has been a White House adviser to four presidents. "This was the most divisive speech I´ve ever heard from a sitting American president." Trump´s delivered a rousing address to a crowd of supporters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania instead of attending the White House Correspondents´ Association dinner in Washington. The nearly-hour long speech began with attacks on the press and covered his tax plan,

President Donald Trump has racked up an historic amount of travel expenses in his first 100 days in office, by far surpassing the president who came before him. Mr Trump has made a point of repeatedly visiting his private Mar-a-Lago resort and golf course, which he and his administration have referred to as the “winter White House,” on the weekends. Those Florida trips require a nearly 1,000 mile flight aboard Air Force One south from Washington. Joining the president on that journey are cargo planes carrying motorcade limousines, aircraft transporting staff for security sweeps, and the deployment of the Coast Guard in the waters

The New York Times´ decision to publish a debut op-ed column by the newly-hired Bret Stephens, a notable denier of anthropogenic climate change, has sparked an uproar from the paper´s subscribers, who are furious that the Times decided to publish a column that is contrary to much of the modern-day scientific consensus on the dangers of global warming. In his column, Stephens compared the "certitude" with which Hillary Clinton´s advisers believed she would win the 2016 election to climate scientists´ repeated warnings about climate change risks. As evidence, Stephens said that inaccurate polling data during the 2016 campaign proves that science

Washington - Prominent Washington journalists, if not Hollywood stars, celebrated the First Amendment during the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, an event that lacked the glitter of past years because of the absence of the president of the United States. (Snip) “We’ve got to address the elephant that’s not in the room,” cracked the entertainment headliner, Hasan Minhaj of “The Daily Show” on TV’s Comedy Central. “The leader of our country is not here. According to the Observer, it will take 80 surgeons, 36 hours and $10 million to execute. A majority of White House reporters believe President Trump has already established himself as the most openly anti-media president in U.S. history, according to a report from Politico. Published on Mr. Trump’s 100th day in office, the report released Saturday indicates White House journalists overwhelmingly agree the current administration is the worst ever with respect to its interactions with the press. Sixty-eight percent of respondents answered “true” when asked recently if Mr. Trump is the most openly anti-press president in history, Politico reported; about one-third, or 32 percent, responded “false.” What’s more, three-in-four reporters described the president’s frequent attacks against

Britain’s largest national student union has told attendees of its annual conference they would face “consequences” for cheering and clapping because these forms of expression exclude deaf people. The National Union of Students (NUS), which includes most university student unions, held a two-day conference on Tuesday. During the conference, audience members were repeatedly warned that they must stop whooping and expressing support for a speaker because it has “serious impact” on the accessibility of the conference, The Daily Telegraph reported. Instead of clapping, the students were advised to use “jazz hands” – a gesture when people wave their hands in
