Jared Kushner, Beware of Jamie Gorelick
American Thinker, by Jack Cashill

Original Article

Posted By:Judy W., 1/11/2017 7:08:58 AM

More than a few of my Washington allies noticed a seemingly unremarkable bit of news in a Monday Washington Post article that they thought I ought to see. The article concerned Jared Kushner’s appointment as adviser to his father-in-law Donald Trump. The appointment did not trouble my friends. What troubled them was thePost’s casual mention that Kushner’s attorney was none other than Jamie Gorelick, deputy attorney general under President Bill Clinton. (Snip) I write this to make him aware of why bloggers have taken to calling Gorelick, "The Mistress of Disaster."

Comments:
I´ve seen dire warnings about Kushner being a liberal. I don´t believe he is. I think he, like Trump, has spent his life swimming in a liberal environment and is having a rude awakening. Someone described him as tribal, not ideological, and that´s probably true. He will defend Trump to his death, and that means taking the measure of the leftists who are trying to bring him down. Therefore it is reasonable for Cashill to tell him about Jamie Gorelick with the expectation that he will listen.

Gorelick needs to be in Leavenworth for her culpability in the September 11 attack and then for the cover-up she ran at the hearings and in the report on the attack.

Not Jamie "the Wall" Gorelick? The one who created the "Wall" that prevented the intelligence agencies from sharing intel with one another, which led to the 9-11 attack? That Jamie Gorelick?

The "Mistress of Disaster" arrived in DC so broke she couldn´t pay her cab fare. She left seven(?) years later with a purse spilling over with $25 million bucks.

Isn´t life good in DC if your´re an incompetent?

No More! You´ll have to earn what you keep!

Maybe someone in Jared´s circle will read this and warn him. He is too young to know a lot of it. I trust Jack Cashill completely and he knows the truth. Please tell him before it is too late.

Trump´s WH Counsel Don McGahn has been in Washington a long time and is a very savvy guy. He´ll take care of this and protect Kusner and POTUS #45.

This is really bad. I hope President Trump takes action on this wretched woman. She should not be anywhere near the Office of the President. Ever!

Of course Kushner´s a liberal. He´s been donating to Democratic politicians all his life. He´s a registered Democrat, which is why he couldn´t vote for his father-in-law in the NY primary. (Neither could Ivanka.) And of course he knows exactly who Jamie Gorelick is; he´s not a dimwit.

But you have to admit it´s hilarious that she´s been retained to advise Kushner on ethical issues.

#7 I did the same, then remembered the family was pretty much Dems so.....I doubt they are now after seeing the reality of how the dems work so maybe he will get new legal help!

This is the most disturbing thing I´ve seen regarding the new Tump Administration.

Dump her Jared! You´re too smart for this.

Jack Cashill is absolutely correct in all of this.

Jamie Gorelick is the ultimate Demonrat inside fixer, always showing up when some horrible, crooked deal needs to be done, and somehow skipping away unharmed and paid off with millions in taxpayer funds.

Truly evil, evil person.

Beware indeed.

Good warning, Jack.

So the website BuzzFeed decided to publish a series of memos that have been floating around for months alleging all kinds of terrible things about Donald Trump. Some of those terrible allegations have to do with efforts to influence the American elections and Trump. Some of them have to do with Trump’s personal sexual conduct. Readers of this newspaper know well not to include me among Trump’s supporters. But the scurrilousness of what BuzzFeed has done here is so beyond the bounds of what is even remotely acceptable it should compel even those most outraged by Trump’s political excesses to come to

In two op-ed articles for the New York Times‘ Sunday Review, the Gray Lady attacks Breitbart News and its founder, Andrew Breitbart, and encourages an effort to “destroy” the company by appealing directly to advertisers not to support the website. One article, “How to Destroy the Business Model of Breitbart and Fake News,” written by someone actually called “Pagan Kennedy” (was “Antichrist Roosevelt” not available?) celebrates the flagging effort of anonymous Twitter trolls who have tried to target and intimidate companies whose ads appear alongside Breitbart News articles, via third party platforms. These would-be censors of the totalitarian left have decided that

The global revolution started with our victory in the Cold War, as the Soviet Union passed away with surprisingly little violence. (Snip) n other words, the United States, despite becoming the world’s lone superpower, deliberately weakened its military strength, and attempted to negotiate friendly relations with its former archenemy and the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. Obama later did all these things again and called them “new.” I think it’s fair to say that the global templates were inevitably going to shift after the fall of the Soviet Empire, but the United States’ decision to withdraw from crucial areas of the world

Gaslighting and the
Left’s War on Reality
Townhall, by Timothy Daughtry    Original Article

Donald Trump’s victory over one of the most powerful political machines in American history has given mainstream America the opportunity to turn America onto a sensible course. The success or failure of that turnaround, however, depends largely on the ability of mainstream Americans to see through the left’s longstanding use of a vile political tactic known as gaslighting. The word gaslighting has been popularized in psychology to describe a form of mental and emotional abuse in which a domineering person denies and contradicts the memories and perceptions of an intended victim until the victim begins to doubt his or her perception

While family and friends were counting down to the new year, I was watching a different kind of countdown—whether doctors and health care providers would be forced to violate their medical judgment and provide procedures, including gender transition services and abortions, under a new government mandate. The mandate is a 362-page regulation that claims to interpret part of the Affordable Care Act. It was issued in May 2016, and major portions of this mandate would have kicked in on Jan. 1. Becket Law had asked a Texas court for an order protecting health care providers. It was less than nine hours to

In Russia in 1839, Custine wrote that Tsar Nicholas I was both eagle and insect: eagle because he soared over society surveying it with a sharp raptor’s eye from above, and insect because he bored himself into every tiny crack and crevice of society from below. Nothing was either too large or too small for his attention; and sometimes one feels that political correctness is rather like that. For the politically correct, nothing is too large or too small to escape their puritanical attention. As a consequence, we suspect that we are living an authoritarian prelude to a totalitarian future.

Barbra Streisand is standing with Meryl Streep, who used her acceptance speech at Sunday´s Golden Globe Awards to criticize Donald Trump for lacking empathy and infamously mocking a disabled reporter in 2015. A day after Streep delivered her blistering rebuke of the president-elect, Streisand called in to Hardball With Chris Matthews and expressed her solidarity. I thought that [Streep] said what she said beautifully, Streisand remarked. Regarding Trump´s ridiculing of journalist Serge F. Kovaleski 14 months ago, Streisand added, I completely agree with Meryl. It was a heartbreaking moment and so beneath the dignity of the presidency, let alone any respectful person. Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself. The material, which has been seen by the Guardian, is a series of reports on Trump’s relationship with Moscow. They were drawn up by a former western counter-intelligence official, now working as a private consultant. BuzzFeed on Tuesday published the documents, which it said were “unverified and potentially unverifiable”.

The Gold Star father who blasted Donald Trump at the Democratic convention this summer is returning to the national stage this week, firing off a letter demanding the Senate reject Sen. Jeff Sessions, Mr. Trump’s attorney general nominee. Khizr Khan, the Pakistan-born father of a U.S. Army captain killed in the Iraq war, said his son’s service was a rejection of people like Mr. Sessions, who he accused of associating with racially divisive and ‘intensely anti-Muslim” groups. Mr. Khan also said Mr. Sessions has defended proposals “that would single Muslim immigrants out for discriminatory treatment on the basis of their religious beliefs.” “My

Hillary Clinton’s political career is probably over, but just because she lost the presidential election to Donald Trump doesn’t mean she wasn’t prepared to win. Axios reporter Mike Allen has revealed Hillary’s list of prospective nominees for important cabinet posts in her administration, and it includes a number of interesting choices. John Podesta, her campaign chairman who accidentally exposed his entire email account to Russian hackers, was listed as the frontrunner to be Hillary Clinton’s secretary of state. Vice President Joe Biden was reportedly also being considered for the position. Facebook executive and Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg was in

President Obama, as he concluded his farewell address in Chicago on Tuesday, called the U.S. Constitution “just a piece of parchment." “Our Constitution is a remarkable, beautiful gift,” said Obama. “But it’s really just a piece of parchment.” “It has no power on its own,” he went on. “We the people give it power. We the people give it meaning with our participation and with the choices that we make and the alliances that we forge…” He later said that as he steps down from the presidency, he plans to play an active role in "the most important office in a democracy: citizen."

The saga over alleged Russian interference in the U.S. elections took another sinister turn Tuesday, as it was revealed that U.S. intelligence officials provided President-elect Donald Trump with a charge that the Russians had obtained dirt on him. U.S. officials included a two-page synopsis of ´kompromat´ – Russian for compromising material – as part of their security briefing of Trump on Friday. The material was based on memos compiled by a British intelligence operative who was considered ´credible´ by the U.S. intelligence community, CNN reported. What is believed to be the document itself was published by Buzzfeed, which pointed out
