Buzzfeed’s Trump report takes
‘fake news’ to a new level

New York Post, by John Podhoretz

Original Article

So the website BuzzFeed decided to publish a series of memos that have been floating around for months alleging all kinds of terrible things about Donald Trump. Some of those terrible allegations have to do with efforts to influence the American elections and Trump. Some of them have to do with Trump’s personal sexual conduct. Readers of this newspaper know well not to include me among Trump’s supporters. But the scurrilousness of what BuzzFeed has done here is so beyond the bounds of what is even remotely acceptable it should compel even those most outraged by Trump’s political excesses to come to

Later in the piece he says as an experienced editor he´s found there is no source less trustworthy than an "intelligence" source delivering dirt on someone.

From Podhoeretz: “Fake news will become more sophisticated, and fake, ambiguous, and spun-up stories will spread widely,” warned an important American editor at the end of December 2016. His name: Ben Smith. His publication: BuzzFeed.

What an opportunity for an honest journalistic venture. Imagine being the last honest news source. These goons distributing propaganda and "Graffiti News"are merely trashing their own reputations. They are merely signing their own bankruptcy papers.

So, the CIA placed this fake golden showers nonsense into their report and briefed Obama and Trump with totally made up information as truth, information only meant to destroy Trump and then the CIA got caught. Great. So now, whatever intel they claim to be factual will be doubted from here on out. How could that possibly put the nation in danger?

Thank you imbedded Saul Alinsky Marxists who have highest level security clearances and work for the government intelligence services. You´ve served the one to whom Alinsky dedicated Rules For Radicals quite well.

Schumer was absolutely correct. The intel services have proven beyond doubt that they will do anything to destroy Trump and this nation; anything.

The sick trick of saying to someone that "I´m telling you about this [terrible, horrible, disgusting, career-ending, life-destroying] rumor floating around out there simply as a courtesy" was J. Edgar Hoover´s modus operandi and his favorite way of blackmailing people. His successor Jim Comey seems to have learned the trick as well, and CIA Director John Muhammad Brennan has been using it on steroids. Busting this hoax should destroy such corrupt entities as CNN and Buzzfeed -- but there is plenty of blame to go around -- including Jake the Fake Tapper, a host of Washington Post and NY Slimes "reporters," and in the middle of it all, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and above all others, Barack Hussein Obama.

Careful with the McCarthyism paradigm.

The ´Verona Files´ proved, and I mean PROVED, that McCarthy was right.

Like "Swift-Boating", do let us remember that the commonly held notion is bass-ackwards.

The MSM is patting itself on the back this morning for not jumping on this information that they "have had for months". In truth, Buzzfeed didn´t care about their reputation as much, so they took the bullet by publishing gossip, slander and innuendo that contained known errors. Now the MSM can report on the Buzzfeed article. These "journalists" will cause half of America to distrust the press and ignore everything they report, which is a dangerous thing in a democracy.

We all know that politics is dirty...on both sides. However the Democrat/communist/ Progressive party have taken it to the lowest level. Personally, I hope they keep this up, to demonstrate over and over again to the American people how ugly and evil they truly are. This is organized crime at its highest level. They make the Mafia look like boy scouts. I´m convinced they will self destruct right before our eyes. And I say go ahead punks, "Make our day."
God bless President Trump as our new CIC.

Virtually all news published or broadcast today by any outlet is "fake news". It is based on PR and personal bias, presented as "settled science" or plain fact, when it is neither. It is time to recognize this as an age of "yellow journalism", 360 degrees of supplemented literal truth as lies spun and presented in mainly lurid ways to attract eyeballs and elicit social or political rage.

We are being trolled by all sides, by all "causes" and by government at all levels. "Reporters" report what they are told, too lazy and ineffective to gather facts with which to judge the presented story, and too biased to bother "balancing" coverage while pitching their own thinly disguised opinion as the story.

FAR: ´´Virtually all news published or broadcast today by any outlet is ´fake news.´´

Which is why democrats and their propaganda media hate Trump´s use of Twitter so much. They can´t filter and spin anything he says, and he can respond directly to the American people when low-life people do this kind of thing.

They know that the report will be around for perpetuity now and that´s all they care about. That and delegitimizing PE Trump.

At some point this crosses the line between freedom of speech to slander and eventually to treason. If a 12 year old blogger can jokingly write that Trump took golden showers with prostitutes, and the CIA and McCain verify it as true, the line is crossed, a crime has been committed.

Sunlight is the great disinfectant that destroys fungus, scatters cockroaches, and sends the rats scurrying back to their rat holes. Buzzfeed may have actually blundered into a good result. Whether intentional or inadvertent, by publishing the memos it has exposed to daylight the entire sordid mess:

The first daylight exposure is the dirty smear campaign against Trump launched by CNN, referencing unnamed and leaked “intelligence” sources for their supposed dirt on Trump. No doubt more leaked info would have followed in a slow protracted drip drip drip by CNN.

The second daylight exposure is the blackmail of Trump attempted by someone within America’s intelligence community when he leaked smarmy descriptions of the charges to CNN. The implied threat was “don’t mess with us or we will leak more.”

Buzzfeed blew the whole plan to pieces by publishing the whole set of fake memos upon which the CNN smear was based, causing the allegations to be exposed as complete fabrications, and showing all the participants for the scum that they are.

Its a new chapter in the Trump Takedown saga. Authored by the media, and members of both political parties who think Washington is their own exclusive members-only private club.

Completely corrupt fake news.

They think the final chapter will be Trump´s resignation or impeachment. They are working up to it. They started with influencing the election, and moved on to overturning election results when that failed. Now they are manufacturing fake news ´scandals´ against Trump.

Total arrogance on their part. Its making it real easy to vote them out, and to turn them off. They will keep doing this garbage until they have their own way or are cast out of power.

If Trump is ever removed, promise every election afterwards will be an effort to remove these corrupt people from power, both parties. As for the media, the most damage that can be done to them is to turn them off. All networks, including Fox. No clicks on internet news sources either. Hit them in the pocketbook. If we ever get reliable honest media ever again, watch them but nobody else.

CNN´s press release dared Trump to point out where they were broadcasting lies. Beyond the report they were trolled with from the start, how about this?

"...the CNN report noted that both President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama — as well as eight ranking members of Congress — had been briefed regarding potentially “compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.” The report indicated that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers all briefed the POTUS and PEOTUS alike on the allegations;"

No, no they did not. Trump was not briefed by leaders within the IC. That has already been confirmed in other press.

The former mayor of Washington, D.C., Adrian Fenty, and Michelle Rhee, the school chancellor he installed, took heat for their aggressive school reforms, but a new study vindicates their controversial evaluations of teachers. From 2007 to 2010, Rhee implemented a student-focused teacher-evaluation system called IMPACT, which relies heavily on student performance to judge teachers. The city still uses the system, and new data indicate that it has helped keep the best teachers and improve academic achievement. IMPACT is a system in which teachers are rated annually. It’s based half on student achievement and half on four other job-performance factors. Teachers

Part of Barack Obama’s legacy is his ability to steamroll his opposition. (Snip) Indeed, if anything, the 2010 election results and anti-Obama sentiment should have made Republican resistance firmer, but instead it was shallow and weak. Former Rep. The Office of Congressional Ethics “investigated” 30 GOP congressmen, then DOJ investigated at least a dozen. Some familiar names were pushed out

Before the inauguration, Donald Trump and Preet Bharara met and an agreement was struck that would keep US Attorney Bharara in his current position in New York under a new Trump administration. In a country that is, in Pope Francis’ famous characterization of the modern world, “a field hospital after battle”? Is that what the Republican party wants to lead with? Why isn’t the priority unleashing, getting past limits, pushing toward dynamism and expansion? All these old arguments—we have to

Bureaucrats braved a bad week. Donald Trump proposes cuts of 29 percent to the State Department, 21 percent to the Departments of Agriculture and Labor, 18 percent to Health and Human Services, and 31 percent to the Environmental Protection Agency in a partial outline of his budget entitled “America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again.” Defense, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and programs supporting school choice receive boosts. For pretty much everything else, Trump lowers the boom. “The first cut is the deepest,” Cat Stevens told us. But when the deepest cut comes as the first it indicates what a

A federal District Court judge in Maryland is considering whether he should order President Donald Trump to double the annual inflow of refugees up to 100,000 per year. Any demand by the judge that the federal government airbus an extra 50,000 migrants — including many adherents of Islam’s sharia legal system — into American neighborhoods would be an unusual intervention into government roles normally left to the elected President and Congress. If actually implemented, the judge’s plan also would be extremely expensive for Americans, because state and local communities subsidize each new immigrant with roughly $1,600 each per year for decades. The judge

In the four months since the election, New York and D.C. media outlets have been diligently boosting all stories related to Chelsea Clinton, apparently in the hopes that they can astroturf a political appetite among liberals for a political campaign by the former First Daughter. Here’s The Hill, from yesterday: When rumors started swirling after the election that Chelsea Clinton was considering her own foray into politics, it was met with eye rolls even from staunch supporters of the family. […] But that skepticism is starting to fade. Last month, a separate report in the New York Daily News said that Clinton could

Rachel Maddow says she never promised a scandal when she announced she had gotten hold of the President’s tax returns. If the story was overhyped, that wasn’t her fault she tells the Associated Press: Maddow’s tweet less than 90 minutes before her show that “we’ve got Trump’s tax returns” set off a social media frenzy. Although a subsequent tweet specified it was only two pages from one year’s returns, expectations were sky high. Maddow told the AP that she never misrepresented what she had. “Because I have information about the president doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily a scandal,” she said. “It doesn’t mean

Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin were spotted together for the first time in months on Thursday - with the pair stopping by the Bergdorf Goodman salon for a quick cut and color. The former Secretary of State was photographed as she made her way to a waiting car after a day spent at the John Barrett Salon, showing off the results of her new $600 haircut and $600 dye job. It was a softer and lighter look for Hillary, who likely never saw herself spending a Thursday afternoon inside a Fifth Avenue department store across the street from Trump Tower

Expedia just named Chelsea Clinton to its board of directors. In a public filing posted Friday, the travel site said it named Clinton -- the daughter of Hillary Clinton -- as a member of its board on Thursday. Expedia (EXPE) said Clinton will be paid "in accordance with the company´s standard compensation policies" for board members. According to an Expedia proxy statement from August, non-employee directors were paid a $45,000 "annual retainer" and awarded $250,000 worth of stock in 2015. Board members who served on various committees were paid an additional $10,000 to $20,000. But Expedia said in a filing

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) has previously accused President Donald Trump of being part of a "Kremlin Klan" beholden to Russian interests, but she took the charge a step further on Thursday, disseminating a graphic she created of Trump associates who she has deemed part of this group. The graphic, with Moscow in the background and an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin looming overhead, pictures several senior Trump administration officials and other associates of the American president labeled with their names. Waters tweeted out the image from her official account, with the note "Prepared by Rep. Maxine Waters" in

After a flood of gushing media coverage touting his deep family devotion as reason for his decision to stay in Washington after his term ended, President Obama turns out not to be quite the devoted family man he was portrayed as after all. He´s just jetted off to Tahiti, alone, without family, in what must be his fourth vacay to yet another exotic private pleasure resort in the wake of leaving office. It´s the life of the jet-set, the idle rich, the rich wastrel, the luxury mooch...the Hollywood elite after they´ve made it big in pictures, or the new-money shady-business magnate

Chelsea Clinton has another feather in her cap now that she’s joined the Board of Directors of travel company Expedia — a very part time gig that pays $45,000 in cash and $250,000 in stock options per year. The board voted for the change this week, according to documents just filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. (Snip) According to Expedia’s Board Member Rules, she could earn an additional $10,000 to $20,000 for serving on one of the Board’s

More than 300,000 workers are planning to walk out of their jobs in protest of President Trump on International Workers Day, according to a new report. The report by Buzzfeed News said that "350,000 service workers plan to strike on May 1, a traditional day for labor activism across the world, in the most direct attempt yet by organized labor to capture the energy from a resurgent wave of activism across the country since the election of Donald Trump." The Service Employees International Union, which endorsed Democrat Hillary Clinton for president back in 2015, will be a large component of
