Hillary Clinton attack dog David Brock is desperate to cling to power in the progressive movement, and so he has issued an open letter to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders apologizing for his dirty actions during the presidential campaign. “Looking back, I recognize that there were a few moments when my drive to put Hillary in the White House led me to take too stiff a jab. I own up to that, I regret it, and I apologize to you and your supporters for it,” Brock, who operated the pro-Clinton super PAC Correct the Record, wrote in a letter on Medium. During the

Oh what fun, this is to watch. Nothing like sunlight to bring things out in the open and make the cockroaches run.

"Correct the Record" - a PAC for the biggest liar in American political history? The delusion of the left is truly amazing to behold.

No apology for the rest of us in America? Doesn´t matter I wouldn´t accept it anyway.

How does this jerk keep his IRS tax-exempt status when he clearly takes political sides, as evidenced by this "apology."

The stiff jabs Brock takes have a whole different definition.

He was running a sort of a money laundering set of campaign accounts. I´m surprised no democrat has complained.

Brock is a nasty, evil little pervert.

Not even man enough to apologize to Bernie´s face. David Brock is a coward. Can´t wait for him to be taken down hard.

Obama´s extraordinary, aimless presidency

Attempting to render summary judgment of a presidency without the benefit of hindsight and historical distance is a fool´s game. Though sometimes it´s easier than others. Bill Clinton presided over eight years of prosperity, relative peace, and fiscal restraint, which seemed to mark him as a better-than-average president as he left office (sex scandal notwithstanding). George W. Bush, meanwhile, bequeathed to his successor a barely contained fiasco in Iraq and a full-fledged economic crisis at home, demonstrating that his years in the Oval Office had been ... somewhat less successful than one might have wished. What about Barack Obama? Well, with him

The allegations are unverified, and the report contains errors. A dossier making explosive — but unverified — allegations that the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” President-elect Donald Trump for years and gained compromising information about him has been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks. The dossier, which is a collection of memos written over a period of months, includes specific, unverified and potentially unverifiable allegations of contact between Trump aides and

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN. The allegations were presented in a two-page synopsis that was appended to a report on Russian interference in the 2016 election. The allegations came, in part, from memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative, whose past work US intelligence officials consider credible. The FBI is investigating the credibility and accuracy of these allegations, which are based primarily on information from Russian sources,

Energy politics makes strange bedfellows, none stranger than Robin Hood and Russian President Vladimir Putin. RT, a media organization that the U.S. intelligence community calls "the Kremlin´s principal international propaganda outlet," published an article on Jan. 2 under the unlikely headline: “Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest hideout under threat from frackers.” The article, which carries no byline and cites the work of environmental activists, laments plans of a unit of Ineos Group, a Switzerland-based chemical company, to conduct seismic testing for natural gas near Major Oak, the millennium-old tree that served in legend as headquarters to Robin Hood and his merry fellows.

FBI Director James Comey acknowledged Tuesday that his agency failed to get access to Democratic National Committee servers and the smartphone of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman allegedly hacked by Russia in the 2016 presidential race. Thousands of emails from the servers and Chairman John Podesta’s device were stolen, then made public during the race, which Clinton lost to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. But the FBI’s repeated requests for access to the devices were denied. So the agency instead had to rely on the findings of a “highly respected private company,” Comey said. “Our forensics folks would always prefer to get access to

Today Jeremy Corbyn 2.0 has taken to the airwaves to bring home his newly-revamped populist message. Of his new policies, the one that has caught the most attention is his call for a maximum wage cap. This would involve a maximum wage for the UK’s highest earners — in order to prevent the UK post-Brexit becoming a ‘grossly unequal, bargain basement economy’. However, this being Corbyn he failed to offer any specific figures when he announced the idea on the Today programme.

Donald Trump has hit back at Meryl Streep calling her a ´Hillary lover´ after her Golden Globes acceptance speech took aim at the president-elect. Streep, who was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award on Sunday, slammed Trump in front of a room of stunned Hollywood stars. She said the moment he mocked and humiliated a disabled reporter ´broke her heart´ as Streep labelled it the year´s most stunning performance. Trump told the New York Times early Monday that he had not seen Streep´s speech or the Golden Globes coverage. Trump told the New York Times early Monday that he

Barbra Streisand is standing with Meryl Streep, who used her acceptance speech at Sunday´s Golden Globe Awards to criticize Donald Trump for lacking empathy and infamously mocking a disabled reporter in 2015. A day after Streep delivered her blistering rebuke of the president-elect, Streisand called in to Hardball With Chris Matthews and expressed her solidarity. I thought that [Streep] said what she said beautifully, Streisand remarked. Regarding Trump´s ridiculing of journalist Serge F. Kovaleski 14 months ago, Streisand added, I completely agree with Meryl. It was a heartbreaking moment and so beneath the dignity of the presidency, let alone any respectful person. Turning attention away from her and toward Donald J. Trump, Meryl Streep used her acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes to call out the president-elect for appearing to mock a disabled New York Times reporter in 2015, and warned that a free press would need to be defended. Ms. Streep campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Some conservative commentators immediately criticized her decision to bring politics so vividly into the show. But the room roundly applauded her remarks, which included a plea to support the Committee to Protect Journalists.

Professor Michael Eric Dyson thinks that white people should have an ‘Individual Reparations Account’ to make donations to black institutions and individuals. (Snip) I agree with reparations, but maybe this is my white privilege speaking: I can’t imagine actually doing that. That is what I meant by an I.R.A.: an individual reparations account. You ain’t got to ask the government, you don’t have to ask your local politician — this is what you, an individual, conscientious, “woke” citizen can do. But charity can’t be the end of it, right? She is among the most famous and easily recognized women in the world, but first lady Michelle Obama feels "invisible" when she steps off her official stage, according to her best friend and ally in the White House. And the reason is a remarkable one considering that she and her husband, President Obama, are America´s first African-American presidential couple. According to top adviser Valerie Jarrett, Obama is invisible because she is black. In her new book about the importance of black mothers in America and how they walk a tightrope in society, White House correspondent April Ryan revealed that Jarrett

The Gold Star father who blasted Donald Trump at the Democratic convention this summer is returning to the national stage this week, firing off a letter demanding the Senate reject Sen. Jeff Sessions, Mr. Trump’s attorney general nominee. Khizr Khan, the Pakistan-born father of a U.S. Army captain killed in the Iraq war, said his son’s service was a rejection of people like Mr. Sessions, who he accused of associating with racially divisive and ‘intensely anti-Muslim” groups. Mr. Khan also said Mr. Sessions has defended proposals “that would single Muslim immigrants out for discriminatory treatment on the basis of their religious beliefs.” “My

One Silicon Valley executive had a few choice words to describe Americans living in the heart of the nation, and they were not flattering. Melinda Byerley, MBA and founder of Timeshare CMO, a Silicon Valley-based tech start-up, tweeted out Saturday afternoon describing what middle America could do to “get more jobs in their area.” Byerley says that the first thing those in middle America need to realize is that “no educated person wants to live in a sh**hole with stupid people.” Particularly, in a “sh**hole” filled with people who are “violent, racist, and/or misogynistic.” In Byerley’s opinion, “big corporations,” do
